Zack was great. Back to back days with them out to fix things (the joy of 1960’s houses). He fixed everything quickly and answered my questions. Thanks again.
While I haven’t personally used Gulfview Plumbing, I’ve confidently sent friends and clients to John Stark, and they’ve all had outstanding experiences. John is knowledgeable, efficient, and works with a team that delivers excellent service. If you need a plumber you can trust, John and the Gulfview team are a great choice.
Danny Davis was one of the best technicians I’ve ever had come to my home to fix something and that’s saying something since I’m up in age! He was very knowledgeable, efficient, and didn’t waste time. I will ask for him if ever I need plumbing repair again.
I like this company when they did my whole house repipe. HOWEVER..... I recently called them out to replace my washing machine drain pipe. They gave me an outrageous price of $415 ! for $25 material and would have taken 30 minutes tops. I thought being a returning customer and spent well over $20g , I would get a discount. The boss said 5% off. I literally laughed and asked Danny the service tech to leave. I later went to lowes spent $30 and did it myself. I WILL NEVER REFER anyone else to this company. Taking advantage of females I suppose. Good riddens.
.. we needed to have a tech to come out and inspect our water heater to make sure it was in good shape for our buyer. Zach came out looked it over and said it looked fine.Asked if he could email me the inspection info, he said he couldn’t just write a report. Then tried to sell me on a $265 non-needed upgrade. I said we don’t need that. He turned and left. I would have gladly paid a svc charge just to get inspection letter but, Zach just turned and left!? We have had good service in the past from Gulfview but this visit was a disappointment.
Long story short: If your issue is with a water filtration system, CALL A WATER FILTRATION SPECIALIST NOT A PLUMBER. We were having issues with the water filtration system (it appeared to be leaking) under our sink and weren't sure if it was better to call a plumber or a water filtration specialist. In the end, we chose to call a plumber and that ended up being a costly misjudgment. When we called, we made it clear that the issue appeared to be with the water filtration system under the sink and they sent someone out to come look at it. When the plumber arrived, they explained the charge would be $200 charge for what I assumed would be to fix the leak. But apparently, what they meant was that it would be a $200 charge for them to TRY to fix the leak?? They put some tape or something in the two areas that had been leaking and then left. Nearly immediately after they left, the system started leaking in a completely different place than it was before. We called the plumber back who said he "doesn't have the parts" to fix it and we likely need a new system. That's understandable of course, but when we expressed our frustration that literally nothing got fixed, the system is still leaking, and it's even leaking in a new place that it wasn't before, the plumber said that they were giving us a good deal by coming back and not charging as again (?? what). Yes, they did "fix" two leaks but ended up creating another one so what was the point of that. It was leaking before they came and it was still leaking after they left! Eventually, we did call a water filtration specialist who told us that we did indeed need a new water filtration system and that whoever we got to look at it before likely cracked it causing the new leak. So the initial plumber likely did cause an additional leak that wasn't even there before (but they were acting like it appeared out of nowhere). It would have been much better if the initial plumber just told us that they don't have the capacity to fix it instead of making it worse and then acting like they gave us a "good deal" charging us "only" $200 (again, to actually make it worse). I really feel like we were taken advantage of because of our lack of knowledge about plumbing and water filtration systems. It has been a while since I felt this blatantly ripped off, and I want an apology and wish I could get my money back, honestly. This all happened back in November, and I waited a few weeks to write a review because I didn't want to do so hastily and out of anger. But after getting the whole picture from the water filtration specialist and looking back on this incident with the plumber, I do stand by my initial thoughts and think this plumber was out of line. Because of the other good reviews, I do think/hope that this company is probably good when it comes to typical plumbing issues. But if, like me, your issue is with a water filtration system, save yourself the trouble and call a company that specializes in that.
On the Fourth of July—of all days—we discovered a difficult plumbing leak, and I can’t say enough about the incredible response and service we received. Chrissy and John Wear, owners of Gulfview Plumbing, responded to my call immediately, and within no time, Zack Braxton was at our door. Despite it being a holiday, Zack arrived with a calm, professional, and incredibly positive attitude. He assessed the issue quickly and efficiently, explained everything clearly, and even gave me helpful tips on what to watch for in the future. He also offered thoughtful estimates for potential follow-up work so we could make informed decisions. It was the kind of above-and-beyond service you hope for but rarely find. I’ve been a proud member of their VIP Plumbing Membership Club for years, and let me tell you—it really came in handy today. Between the priority service, trusted team, and ongoing savings, it’s been one of the best home investments we’ve made. Zack, Chrissy, and John embody what excellent service and integrity look like. I would recommend Gulfview Plumbing without hesitation to anyone in need of plumbing help. Thank you again, Zack—you were a total pro, and we’re truly grateful!
Gulf view plumbing is a world class Company. The owners are responsive and provide the feeling they truly care about you & want to fix your problem as fast as possible. The two Service guys that came to my house Zack & Nate were Professional, Polite, informative and on top of all that, nice guys. we just bought the house we are in and learned that we inherited a huge plumbing issue. The toilet wouldn't flush & water wouldn't drain from the shower. Zack & Nate examined the situation, and we agreed their HhydroJet process was needed. When they arrived, they began their process. Snaking the drain, using their camera to monitor the snaking & locate the clog. That they did then using the Hydro jet unit flushed out all the clogs and then used a tool to scrape the walls of the drainpipe. After an all-day process repeating these steps due to how severe the clog was our clog problem was remedied and no more clog. These guys & Gulfview are top notch & we Highly recommend using them. Thank you for your response & solution. I do not wish my problem on anyone .....but if you do have a plumbing Problem...Used Gulfview Plumbing. Steve & Joyce Lecatsas
You should save Gulfview Plumbing's number to your phone right now! Many times it's not until you have an emergency that you end up stressing out, asking your friends and neighbors for recommendations, or worse - just picking a company that pops up online (or a big company who's ad you remember from TV.) You never plan for a plumbing emergency, but when it hits, it's so good to know that with one phone call, you can have the best in the business fixing your problem. Chrissy and John are amazing local business owners, and they do it right. They are involved in every aspect of the business and only hire the best. When I had a pipe burst, they were there for me every step of the way, and Zack was there super fast to fix the issue, explain everything I needed to know, made suggestions to avoid future problems, and left the site as though nothing ever happened. He was super friendly, efficient, and thoughtful. And price? Unlike others I've had the displeasure of working with, Gulfview is extremely fair and gimmick-free. I highly recommend this company.
I just had Gulfview install a new water heater in my condo. The office manager Chrissy is a dream to work with. Gulfview sent a tech out to view the job, then the installation was completed by another tech two days later. As per our HOA, it was necessary to fill out a packet of paperwork, including getting a permit for Bd approval. Chrissy took care of all of that, and did it quickly too. John, the technician, did a stellar job of installing the water heater. Not an easy task when you're dealing with a condo complex and the original water heater that is 20 yrs old. He was polite, efficient, had all the components necessary, and fully cleaned up the area when completed. I watched for awhile, and John walked me through the components of the system. Very patient! I highly recommend Gulfview! And, btw, they send out a photo of the tech, with his bio and rating, while he is on the way. Good safety measure for a senior like me, and a good ice breaker too. Gulfview is topnotch in every way. Sure, they cost a bit more, but worth every penny.
Today was Friday and I woke up this morning with no hot water and it was 40 degrees (!) outside here in January. I called the big plumbing outfit that I've been using to get help but they couldn't get here until Tuesday afternoon, booked solid they said. I searched the internet, found Gulfview Plumbing and called their office at about 7:15 AM to get someone to my home, hopefully by the end of the day. Their Service Technician, John, was knocking on my door exactly 1 hour later, at 8:15 AM! John's competence was evident as he went about discovering the root cause of my lack of hot water. He explained everything as he went along and I had hot water again in about an hour. If John is representative of the quality standards of this company, then I've found the company that I'll always use when I have the need. I've been a landlord for over 25 years and have dealt with many plumbing companies, but Gulfview Plumbing is who I'm calling from now on.
Used Gulf View Plumbing & water treatment Again today for an older toilet problem. Dan gave me 3 very professional options Good Better & Best (replacement) Given the age of the toilets and the possibility of throwing good money after bad due to the age, i did not want to band aid the problem, so I replaced the two toilets. Everything was done in one day ! Dan was to be at the job between 8AM & 10AM . Came on time, looked at the issues, and gave the quotes. very expedient & thorough. I accepted the toilet replacement quotes and he completed both toilet installations by 12:45 Dan was very good, Very polite, professional and respectful of the property. Cleaned up very well afterwards. Explained everything very well too. I will continue using this company as long as they continue providing quality technicians Like Dan, Zack & Nate & great service responses from Chrissy Thanks again Steve Lecatsas 3/18/24
I contacted Gulfview Plumbing based on their stellar reviews. They sent out John Stark to our home, as it was a weekend emergency where my wife discovered water all over our garage floor. I did my own inspection and found the source of the leak up in the attic. Further evaluation by John discovered where it was coming from as well, and through one of our laundry line areas. Needless to say, John was very informative and answered ALL of our questions in a way easily to be understood and he had a very pleasant personality as well. The problems were fixed and the company provided the time where he also replaced a brand new toilet I bought for the home. We were very satisfied with the work, and will be in touch for their services again. Highly recommend you call this company. Again, my selection was based off Google Reviews, and we were not disappointed.
John and Chrissy were amazing , fast , and professional. They have a customer for life I wont be calling any other plumbing company (more then just plumbing I must add) in my area!! My shower was leaking constantly and I had no idea where it was coming from. Sure enough they found it Immediately and replaced the pipes along with my shower head and line , The pressure is no 10 times better then it was before , I seriously recommend you look no further then these guys! Edited: I just had them back to fix my kitchen sink faucet , It was leaking under the sink , and Danny was very responsive and kept me in the loop the whole time about the process and what he was doing , they truly went above and beyond , Please look no further when looking for anything water related , They have the solution. Commercial or Residential!!
Don't call anyone else. This is your best plumber in the area. Prompt service and fair prices. John took care of our issues and helped us understand what was going on and how he was going to solve it. The work he did for adding/fixing our outdoor shower was excellently finished, down to painting after he was done. He installed two water softeners and took the time to educate us on some other items in the house and how to take care of them going forward. We had backflow issues that he identified and solved for us. He even cleaned out the faucets in the new house we just moved into. Attention to detail, communicating clearly with their customers to set expectations and then sticking to the plan on schedule - all things we greatly appreciated. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLUMBER!
