Tim was incredibly kind and diligent throughout the entire process. He took the time to make sure the issue was fully resolved and didn't rush the job. We really appreciated his professionalism and care. I highly recommend!
Griffin Plumbing came out quickly on a Sunday night emergency call. They did everything they could to mitigate the problem, then determined that they needed to make the emergency call. Jake arrived within 30 min! He then speedily offered us 3 choices for repair, and within 15 min he was done. Worth every penny. Thank you Griffin Plumbing for always being professional, courteous and there for our emergencies!
Great customer service
Simple kitchen sink isn't draining properly ? They came we paid, started acting up right away !!!!! Their response ? We don't guarantee our work : ) Seriously!! Believe me, there are still trades people with a conscience and integrity. THIS ISN'T ONE OF THEM ) : Enough said ~ good luck and thanks yelp !
The worst! It's like getting a haircut from Supercuts and paying for a NYC salon experience! They get a tech onsite for $79.95 then try to screw you on the repairs. It's all scripted communication. $550 to snake a line to a septic tank and $950 to incl hydrojet is so out of touch with comp pricing. Forget the Google reviews, those are bought with $$.
We called Griffin Plumbing based on a recommendation from my husband's work mate. What they did right was they were professional on the phone when I called and they do send a text with the plumber's picture when they send him to your door. However, I will never use their service again for the following reasons: 1). The plumber arrived on time, slightly before 10 AM. However, as soon as he got here he said he had to be on a conference call so he would be out in his truck. He was out there for 45 minutes. My time is valuable to me. If he was going to be on a required conference call at 10 o'clock why did he show up at my house at 10 o'clock? That was the first big red flag. 2). When he finally did come into the house, I pointed out that it was our disposal that needed to be fixed. However, he started darting around the house checking Water. I asked why he needed to do that if he was there to fix my disposal, and he stated that Customer Service is just a priority with Griffin. If Customer Service was a priority with Griffin why did he spend the first 45 minutes of his visit out in his truck on a conference call?!!! I mentioned several times that we were only looking for a repair for our disposal and he kept checking the water heater, osmosis unit and all our toilets. He did not look at the disposal at all. 3). After wasting all that time, he went back out to his truck to write up options for us. I told him we are not going to be replacing anything we just want our disposal fixed. He finally looked at the disposal for about three seconds and then ran out to his truck for another 30 to 40 minutes. I almost wanted to laugh it was so ridiculous. I started texting my husband to please come home because this was a very bizarre situation. I have dealt with bad plumbers before but this man was not going to listen to anything I was saying. It was evident to me that his only goal was to sell products we didn't need. I wasted THREE HOURS of my time with him sitting in the truck, frantically running around the house trying to tell me his good customer service required that he checked everything before even touching the disposal, and then he FINALLY came in and started outlining plans for replacing everything!!!! and told me the city has my pressure set too high so he put something on that to regulate pressure?!!!! What the heck?!! I just wanted my disposal fixed! My husband finally was able to break away from work for lunch, and we told Griffin's representative the waste of our time was unacceptable. We'd get someone else to replace the disposal!!!!! It was like living in the far side. No matter what we said we could tell it wasn't being heard. We told him next time sometime calls for a repair, fix their item first, THEN see if the customer has 3 hours to waste for their "good customer service." When I spoke with the office, they said they are honoring their "good customer service" by not charging me the service fee! Far Side craziness!!!!
Nothing but good things to say about my recent interaction with Griffin. Mid afternoon I noticed that our hot water tank had developed a slow leak around the cold water inlet. Immediately called Elizabeth explaining the situation. She was able to arrange for Mike S to stop by to check out the leak. Mike arrived less than 45 mins from my call to Elizabeth, thank you again and again. Mike did a through look and let me know what was wrong. Said that he couldn't provide any options as the tank simply had to be replaced, no choice. Mike provided an estimate for the ball valve and pressure regulator that also had to be replaced but assured me that the new tank and it's installation was covered under the brands' warranty. Unfortunately, he didn't have a tank on his truck that afternoon but with Elizabeth's help he was able to setup a early next day installation. Cris S was here as promised and quickly confirmed Mike's findings. He also was able to review the last tank installation documentation and determined that the entire fix (tank/ball valve/regulator/labor costs) were covered by the brands' and Griffin's warranties. Huge huge savings!! Cris quickly drained off the water, pulled the old hot water tank and installed the new one in just over four hours by himself with time to ensure we understood what had failed and how he had corrected/repaired/replaced. His work was quick, clean and neat. These three Griffin's employees were absolutely professional.
I'm old enough to remember companies often using these types of deceptive marketing tricks - and getting away with them - before online review sites came along to expose them. So I was pretty flummoxed to hear the nice young lady's spiel (after getting all my contact, etc. info. down). Boils down to this: Got a coupon in the mail for a free camera inspection - YAY! - what could be better for an intractably sluggish tub drain? Oh wait - first the company charges $79 to show up. Then, they insist that they have to try to unclog the tub first - which ISN'T BLOCKED, just uncharacteristically sluggish. I will then get charged for that labor. THEN, they do the "free" inspection. Um, logically speaking, why can't they first TRY to do the inspection and then advise me on the problem, and we go from there? If you fix the problem, THEN do the inspection, what sense does that make?? It might have been a simple AT-HOME fix, that's what. But of course they're a business, and they need to make money. I find this kind of deceptive trick incredibly sad. If they had been honest and transparent and done the right thing, they would have had me as a customer for life; yet they chose to get this lousy review. They must think people are as dumb as doorknobs. What a waste of my precious "coffee" time. Takeaway: Beware of companies that have to give you a 5-minute spiel on their "terms of service" before they will honor a simple coupon...
I was quite satisfied with the service I received from Griffin Plumbing. Starting with difficulty in replacing a garbage disposal unit, they gave me a window of time to visit. An opening came and they came earlier. The technician, Mark, was superb, thorough, professional, and very considerate. Their operation is very high-tech with iPads, and structured with regard to doing a household plumbing check, documents, releases, etc., and it took more time than I would have imagined. In the process, I ended up getting a new water heater too. Anyway, Mark accomplished everything he promised in the time frame he promised. He wore shoe coverings and spread out protective coverings and cleaned up afterwards. He was very considerate in answering all my questions, summarizing his work, and volunteering tips for me moving forward. I cannot speak to their pricing which was higher than I've ever experienced for similar work - particularly for the parts. (My Costco garbage disposal was more powerful and about $170 less than their option, a P-trap. They charge about $60 more for paid in advance for an annual maintenance contract than they do for a $24.99 per month charge with an auto-renewal which I found totally bizarre, but the service was excellent.
Griffin Plumbing just completed the big project of repiping our whole house, and we can't say enough good things about this company and everyone we came in contact with from start to finish. First, the same day I called, they sent one of their top technicians, James C., out to evaluate the problem (copper pipes failing under our slab foundation). Before James left, we had a plan in place, knew the costs, and had a start date set. Second, we were very impressed with the 3 reliable, trustworthy, hard working, and knowledgeable technicians working daily on this project - Cris Sisneros, David Mercado, and Frankie Hamlin. Our unique architecture presented some challenges to moving the plumbing into the attic, but Cris S. was an expert problem solver and came up with thoughtful solutions. Under Cris' leadership, the team made the process less painful for us. Third, there was always clear communication from Cris, as well as the Griffin office staff (Elizabeth) who checked in with us everyday. We will definitely be using Griffin Plumbing from now on!

My husband had Griffin install a garbage disposal in my mom's home. After that was done the person said the pipes in the house were not made for garbage disposal. It kept getting backed up and we called them to unplug it more than once. Also, they installed a kitchen faucet. I was told not to put anything down the garbage disposal. Then why have one if you can't use it? Now 6 years later I could not figure out where the smell was coming from. Broken pipe with garbage and spiders at the end. Had to pay another plumber to repipe and fix the broken one. Was told not to use the garbage disposal because it would always back up. The smell went away though. Now for the faucet had to replace it because it leaked from day one. The person that installed the garbage disposal would try and sell us a water filtration system but I never found out how much it was. I just wanted what he installed fixed but that never happened. I would not recommend the company at all.
We used Griffin Plumbing twice in the past (2011 and 2012) and both times we received very good service. We called Griffin back out on 01/09/14 as our water pressure regulator was leaking. Mark came out, did an inspection and confirmed what I already knew... we would need a new pressure regulator. Mark gave us options on replacing just the regulator or the entire inlet pipe with a shutoff valve and water spigot. The price for the entire inlet pipe, shutoff valve and pressure regulator was more than fair and I agreed to have the work done right away. Mark had spent about an hour replacing the entire unit and did a great job. The new piping and hardware look great. After paying Mark gave us a little welcome gift that was really nice. We talked about services Griffin has and gave us more options to consider in the future. Overall it was a great service and we will for sure call upon Griffin in the future when we need plumbing services.
Griffin Plumbing....or did I mean to say, our local "Knights in Plumbing Armor"! Sean Ansari (our Griffin Plumbing Plumber) came out to our home yesterday to "re-install/seat" both of our toilets. His service was quick, professional, successful and informative! All the Griffin Plumbing representatives my Spouse and I spoke with, from one of the Owners (Jeremy) to Elizabeth (first office contact on phone) to Sean (Plumber) we're empathetic and compassionate to our dire situation and jumped into action (same day) so to speak, to resolve our issue! As a resident on the Central Coast, once again, I could not be more pleased and satisfied with the experience, customer service and results provided by Griffin Plumbing in Santa Maria,CA! Kudos and thanks to Jeremy Griffin, Elizabeth and of course...Sean! In this Yelper's opinion Griffin Plumbing, on this occasion, again, truly earned this 5 Star "highly recommend" review.
I cannot say enough good things about this plumbing company. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. I called on Monday and they went out of their way to work me in for Tuesday, which alone was impressive. Communication throughout the day was excellent — I was kept informed every step of the way. When it started to look like they might not be able to make it out as planned, the owner personally reached out, reassured me, and promised they would work something out. True to his word, they showed up after hours to take care of the issue. The plumber was extremely respectful, knowledgeable, and left everything clean — which I truly appreciated. It’s rare to find a company that combines professionalism, integrity, and genuine care for their customers the way this one does. Above and beyond service in every sense. I would not hesitate to recommend them and will absolutely use them again.
