Good Plumber

Troy and Colten of Good Plumbing came out (on short notice) and replaced some frozen-solid drain piping that had been cut out. Not an easy job as it was in a crawl space and under a porch. Communication was great, clean-up was top-notch and water is flowing again! Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing great plumbing service!

Lets just say above snd beyond. Wow. Very impressed with troy. This company is about quality work and communication. Got my faucets in my sink and jacuzzi tub replaced. Also replaced a valve in my shower. Showed up on time. Got the job done. Sent me pics pf progress. will have them back for any of my plumbing needs. Super polite and professional. Troy was called in for an emergent service …. Upon arriving he did a quick survey to assess the situation and took care of the issue in a quick and efficient manner……. Would definitely recommend Good Plumber for any and all of your plumbing needs

Troy was new in the area and purported to know all about Navien water heaters. BS. He didn't understand correct use of flex pipe. He didn't even know to change the orifice to PROPANE. Had to hire a better plumber to fix his mistakes

Worst company ever, did a bad job then refused to come back and correct it. Management was very disrespectful because I left a bad review but I was willing to remove the review if the problem was corrected but he told me to lay in my bed. So I did with another company that did amazing job. Waste of money this company is.

We are very thankful for GOOD PLUMBER . We strongly recommend them for your plumbing needs. Troy Good Assessed our situation, presented us with a plan for repair that was easy to understand. He clearly stated what he would and could do, along with what he could not do. Troy answered all of our questions, before the project started. He acted in a professional, humble and experienced manner. Troy was on time for both visits. He cleaned up every area where he worked. It was as if he hadn’t been there. Good Plumber is our plumber of choice. Thank you Troy! I am adding to my review of eight months ago. My praise and appreciation for Good Plumber (Troy Good and Dustin) has not waned! Since they first rescued us, they have replaced our broken gas water heater, installed an outside water hydrant we use for our garden, relocated our water shutoff for the house (a big stress relief - I don’t have to crawl half way under the house to reach it, now) and relocate our whole-house water filter system (complete with repairing the water bypass route). They remain professional, on time, and do exceptional work. They have great experience and use good common sense. Thank you, Good Plumber!

After more years than expected, our water heater finally gave up on us. Having a home warranty company, we are at the mercy of whoever they send. Sometimes that’s unfortunate. Not this time! Troy, the owner of Good Plumber, is outstanding. On his first visit he quickly diagnosed the problem with the water heater as well as determined that the main pressure valve was also malfunctioning. He passed his findings on to the warranty company and got approved for all the work with no pushback! Within a week he and his associate, Dustin, we’re back at the house. In less than 2 hrs we had a new water heater, new pressure valve and he even fixed a poor connection coming off the line near the valve. They made sure to walk me through everything they did and left the area cleaner than they found it. This is a top notch company. I’m going to make sure to request them or call them myself for any further plumbing work. Highly recommended!

Good Plumber in Pikeville installed a water filtration aystem and also moved plumbing for the washing machine at our request. They did a competent job and all of the things that they did seem to be functioning as expected. I knocked one star off because they did not put the washer water lines into a solid mounting, they hammered them into drywall and they pulled out easily. I went behind them, screwed a board into a nearby stud, and then had something to hammer them solidly in to. This ISN'T an item in their area of work, but if they had even mentioned it, i would have done it beforehand or as they needed it. Its a simple and quick thing and it drastically increases the stabilty of those lines. Again, this ISN'T in their area of work, but it is an above and beyond thing that would have warranted the exceptional/5 star rating.

5 Star service from JoLynn, Troy and Dustin!! Our tankless hot water heater went out February 21. Troy and Dustin came on the 23rd and diagnosed it was unrepairable. Reported it to our Home Warrantee company (American Home Shield). Then the struggle getting them to approve replacing it. after many phone calls from JoLynn and Troy to American Home Shield and almost 3 weeks later they received approval to replace it. Troy and Dustin arrived on March 14 and within hours had it replaced and running. The replacement required some modifications but that did not deter them from making it happen. We would highly recommend Good Plumber without hesitation. Dealing with American Home Shield was not an easy task but they went above and beyond what they had to. Great job and outstanding service!!!! i

When I contacted the Good Plumber they told me exactly the day and time they would be at my home. It was right on the money!! 😁. Many times when I have had issues with my home I have called a company, talked to them and never heard from them. With the Good Plumber there was an immediate answer (no answering machine!) and arrangements were made. The technicians were so personable. They explained and showed me what the problems were. I also really do like communicating by email. They tell u the exact time they are to arrive and also post your billing info. I would definitely refer them to anyone needing their service!!

I have been using the services of Troy, Jolynn (I hope I spelled that right) of Hood Plumber for two years at least now. I cannot stress how great of a partner they have been for all my plumbing needs - tankless water heater flush, pipe burst, faucet install, etc. It is hard to find a provider of fantastic service, professionalism and all at a reasonable price. Troy even found an issue with our electricity under our sink that could have been catastrophic - what a catch!!! I cannot not recommend Good Plumber for any of your plumbing needs. You will be greatly pleased!

I was so impressed. They were able to schedule an appointment for us immediately, kept in contact via messages and emails and even provided a link to track the plumber on his route to us. We were provided the plumber's name and ETA and he was right on time. He was friendly yet professional and took care of our problem quickly and efficiently. We were provided an estimate to approve before he got started and an invoice was emailed to us as well. Excellent experience.

I coordinated an estimate and repair from out of state - a task not easily accomplished that sometimes bears less than favorable results. From scheduling to workmanship, Good Plumber handled everything in a courteous and professional manner. Punctuality and communication regarding the repair were outstanding. Troy and his wife were very helpful & Professional . We moved to our new property and the pilot was not lit on the water heater. He & his assistant walked with my husband to show him where the water heater was & lit it. Later on during the day I called because we also have an electronic gas fireplace and we couldn't figure out how to lite it, I called & he walked us through it.
