I needed a toilet repaired for my home in East Austin. The toilet had leaks due to worn out washers in the tank. Master plumber Dan Howard came out and walked me through the options. I had him perform a complete tank repair and had no issues. I then noticed the second toilet start to show the same issues and that’s when I called GCP again to repair the second toilet. These toilets have the original washers from 2008 so it’s not surprising to seem them both start to fail around the same time. Dan and the team at GCP made things easy for me to schedule and that was important as I didn’t have a lot of time. Could I have found a lower price option? Maybe. Could I have done it myself? Maybe. What I needed was for the repairs to be done right the first time and give me the peace of mind that the work would be done quickly with warranty. They also took care not to dirty home floors. I recommend GCP!!

Eric and his guys are great! they came out to fix a broken spigot handle something you think would be simple but old pipes didn’t want to let go of the spigot. i hired them so my husband wouldn’t break the whole pipe! they got it off after a long fight without breaking anything! very impressive with my house everything breaks. i asked about another small job and they told me it would be way cheaper and easier to do myself the. having them do it. I love the honesty and hard work! Thank you!!

Instead of dismissing me or telling me to hire a plumber right away (like a certain big-name plumbing supplier did), Dan actually listened to my description, reviewed my photos and videos, and brainstormed solutions with me -- all without rushing the conversation or making me feel like I was wasting his time. He walked me through possible causes, explained why certain theories didn't add up, and even suggested specific local supply shops that might be able to help me track down the right part. His approach gave me the confidence to keep troubleshooting and, most importantly, the reassurance that I was actually on the right track. In an industry where it's all too common to feel talked down to, Dan was refreshingly respectful, encouraging, and generous with his knowledge. I'm still working on resolving my issue, but thanks to Dan's advice, I'm much better prepared -- both for this repair and for future home maintenance. If this is how GC-Plumbing treats someone who isn't even a paying customer yet, I can only imagine how great the service will be when I do need to hire them. Both companies exceeded our expectations. Our service technician, John, from Good Clean Plumbing, did an excellent and thorough job. The costs were lower than what we were paying to Honest Air and Plumbing, and we are now enrolled in their maintenance program. Similarly, we received outstanding service from Anthony, the owner of The AC Guy of ATX. Anthony is honest and does not try to upsell any unnecessary services. We are now on a maintenance program with The AC Guy of ATX, which is more affordable than the maintenance program offered by Honest Air and Plumbing, and the service quality far surpasses what we experienced with them. Both Good Clean Plumbing and The AC Guy of ATX are local small businesses, and we are happy to support them. In return, we receive significantly better service at better prices.

GC just came out to replace a failing water heater. I usually review restaurants, but I was pleased enough to come tell you about it. Here is what my experience was like: - fast response to my request for quote with the best price and warranty - ongoing communication with the owner and thorough answers to my questions while making my decision between plumbers - an update that they could come earlier than expected - close to appt a text where I could track my plumbers en route! - once on premises I showed the guys around and Chris answered my many questions. Then he asked if I needed anything else while they were here (well trained service and a win win) - job was done quickly and cleanly and they also fixed up some outdoor hose bibs that needed love (thank you!) I'm not somebody who loves spending money on plumbing, but I was pleasantly surprised. I'd use them again (but hopefully not for a long time!) P.S. I almost passed on them because they don't have a lot of Yelp reviews, but if you look a few other usual places you'll find I'm not the only satisfied customer.

the dynamic duo of chris and austin came to my home recently to fix my clogged toilet, and unfortunately came to the conclusion (what i suspected) that i needed a new toilet. they went back out into the heat of the day to get my lovely new throne and installed it that afternoon. they were very professional, keeping everything as neat and clean as possible and cleaning everything up when finished, removing all trash (although chris did jokingly ask me if i wanted to keep my old toilet to use in the front lawn as a planter!). they even put on booties over their shoes every time they entered my home. they are also very pleasant and enjoyable and easy to be around, and to communicate with, and chris does explain all options so that you can make an informed choice (i had several toilet choices-there are some pretty fancy ones out there!). both chris and austin have a great sense of humor so even though i hope i never see them again, if i do need a plumber i'm definitely calling good clean plumbing, and i'm definitely requestiong chris and austin!

Had the pleasure of working with Seth from Good Clean Plumbing this morning and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. We had already known about Good Clean Plumbing from a friend, and they have always exceeded our expectations as far as being prompt, communicative, very clear and straightforward with quotes as well as very courteous and safe to be in our home. I am so glad I went with my gut feeling (and glowing reviews) and called GC Plumbing. Daniel couldn't have been a more honest, straightforward specialist with twenty years experience. I was afraid I had a busted pipe but it was just a worn out seal. The spigot was 26 years old so I'm thrilled to have a much better, brass spigot to be an addition to my home for the rest of my life, perhaps. Could not be more pleased with everything from the length of time to respond (initially on my first call this morning). They were very responsive right from the get go. From the start of diagnosis and completion of the part needed installed I'd say it must've only taken an hour or two. I will recommend Daniel at GC to anyone living around here.

Our grinder pump failed late on a Friday, and I was worried we'd be stuck without help all weekend. I called Good Clean Plumbing, and to my surprise, the president Eric came by right away to take a look. He assessed the issue himself and was able to get Johnny out the next morning to get it serviced and working again. They were incredibly professional, prompt, and didn't charge a travel fee like other local businesses do. Their pricing was very reasonable, and above all, they were honest and ethical throughout the entire process. I had a fantastic experience working with Good Clean Plumbing. I help operate management of short term rentals. One of our homes in the Lago Vista area had a report of a slow tub drain. Due to a scheduling conflict, I was unable to be at the home during the appointment. Seth came promptly at the schedule time. He found out very quickly where the leak was. Since the leak was coming from the dishwasher, he informed me that there was nothing he could do about it but put me immediately in touch with a company that would help me with the water damage. He was so helpful and polite and it was a pleasure to deal with him. This is the first time I called this company but in view of the friendly and professional service I got, I will certainly call them again and give their names to friedns and family, should the need a plumber.

We had Seth W. from Good Cleaning Plumbing come out today, and he was fantastic! He was friendly, professional, and efficient. Seth quickly figured out our hot water issue and got it working again, plus he replaced two toilets for us. Everything looks great and works perfectly. It's such a relief to have everything fixed!
