Had a gas leak on the main line coming from the gas meter. Called good call talked with the receptionist and had two technicians out right away. Brett and Ed did an exceptional job in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. Will definitely use good call in the further for my plumbing needs.

When we moved to Elburn, we discovered Good Call Plumbing and are so glad we did - AWESOME! Steve and his team are very responsive, knowledgeable, reasonable and make honest recommendations. We have used them for many things ( when you have a new home, lots to add) and cannot tell, you how pleased we are. Do we recommend them WE SURE DO. For your plumbing needs the best call should be to Good Call.

This company made us wait over 2 weeks to come look at a leak we had in our shower that coming through the ceiling. Guys came out and only looked at the issue for about 10 minutes, charged us $180 for the service call, and said they would send over a quote. 5 days later and still no quote. Called to follow up and they don’t have a quote in their system. Do not trust this company.

ANOTHER GREAT JOB BY GOOD CALL! I called them this morning regarding a non-emergency 'toilet not flushing' issue. I had told the lady who answered the phone that it was not an emergency and they could just come out sometime next week. She was very nice and professional and she had the plumbers on the phone immediately. They were at my house in about 20 minutes! I was happy they were able to respond so quickly, even though it wasn't an emergency. Jake and Calvin worked quickly and efficiently and got the toilet working perfectly. They are both clean, tidy and professional. It was nice to see familiar faces since many companies often have a lot of internal turnover and you get someone new every time. Thank you again to Good Call for coming to the rescue again. You will always be my go-to plumbing service! This is my earlier review: I called them this morning because my shower faucet broke off in my hand. Water was spraying everywhere and I had to turn off the main shutoff. They were at my home about 2 hours after I called. (Monday morning following Thanksgiving). I had accidentally called a different plumbing company that gave me an estimate of $775 to replace the faucet. My bill from Good Call was $385. I have used them before and they have always done a great job. They were prompt, kept their work area clean and did a great job. Both of their employees were pleasant and professional. The person who took my original call was also very pleasant and helpful. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend.

We bought our house in late 2018 and have hired Good Call Plumbing to install 2 new toilets, 2 new bathroom faucets and a garbage disposal in the kitchen. They have also helped us with emergencies involving a frozen sum pump hose backing water up into the house and an overflowing septic tank. While they do not clean septics they located the tank for us (on a Friday evening - and the tank was not on our platte of survey), opened the tank, moved stuff around to buy us a few hours and recommended an excellent septic tank contractor. Good Call Plumbing was unable to install the walk in tub we wanted (maker only uses certain contractors) so we just had a contractor out who moved one of the toilets Good Call Plumbing had installed because the bathroom is small and the contractor needed room to work. The contractor did not reinstall the toilet right, causing it to leak profusely when we flushed. I emailed the contractor and Good Call Plumbing last night. Who got back to me early in the morning? Good Call Plumbing, of course. They diagnosed and fixed the problem and prepared a detailed billing statement, which I will share with the other guy. Needless to say, we have used Good Call Plumbing for upgrades amd emergencies, and they have never let us down. They are quick to respond, friendly and make time to explain the basics of any issues (I am not a plumber but like to know what is going on). Highly recommended..

The request was for a whole house water filter to be replaced and filters added to the reverse osmosis system. The whole house water filter replacement was great. New valve before and after. However after the replacement of a few of the reverse osmosis filters, I was told my tank was bad and in need of replacement. They said there was no pressure at the tank and that could be seen by water trickling out of the faucet. I said the pressure through the faucet was fine before the filters were replaced. They checked the lines, checked the pressure, with time and $$$ adding up. I was given a quote of $830 for replacement of the tank. I said I would think about it. I was also told I would receive a quote for an entire new RO setup if I only wanted to replace one filter and not multiple with my current setup. Well, I got to thinking. Since the water lines were purged for the replacement of the whole house water filter, the reverse osmosis tank would have little to no pressure/water. The plumbers should have known this. A quick search on Google and YouTube and I found I was right. A 2-4 hour wait to recharge and the reverse osmosis tank should be ready. Yes. Everything is working fine now and there was no need to spend money on a new tank I didn't need or new RO system which I also didn't need.

Saw their truck down the street in Naperville and since I had pretty much had it with our previous plumber I gave them a call--in Elburn--where they are located. Not next door by any stretch. But they came and they were outstanding both in competence and price. Some months later, needed them again and had the same pleasant experience. Now here's one problem you have to be aware of: If you Google Good Call Plumbing and you're in Naperville (might be happening elsewhere too for all I know) about 10 listings are going to pop up --all misleading you into thinking that the phone number listed with those listings is Good Call Plumbing. They're not. One listing on Google was so brazen as to list "Good Call Plumbing" and a phone number. But it's a phish. I asked three times "Is this Good Call Plumbing" before the person finally said "No." Good call is in Elburn. If you're in Naperville which isn't all that close to Elburn, Google will bury your search and default to outfits from Chicagoland that PAY to have their misleading info come up first. In other words - make SURE - you get the real Good Call plumbing on the line. We just got ripped off by an outfit because I was not at home, And my wife did not know the name of our plumber. She does now!

This review is a long time coming. We've hired Good Call Plumbing for a few services over the last 2.5 years. We had a new digital double sump pump installed, a trench dug to an abandoned well, reworking incoming/outgoing pipes as well as coming to repair a 2nd story bathroom pipes replacement/project. I can not say enough good things about several members of their team. Matt and his crew helped us through a couple panicky times, when we had so much rain all of the communities were having issues. At one time, Matt attempted to go above & beyond as we had a flood due to the heavy rains of 2015. He was home quite sick babysitting his kids. And he made every attempt to come help. This company is made of real people who do real quality work and they don't make up things to make money on, quite honest, up front, very respectful and pleasant to work with and most importantly they do great quality work and stand behind it after the work is done. Women can feel 100% confident to call this company. They will not take you for a ride or play games.

It's important to acknowledge exceptional service and work where it's due. After purchasing a home in December of 2017, I was a victim of melting snow, rain and unseasonably warm temperatures in February of 2018. Needless to say, my basement took on water- total loss. Brett, from Good Call, not only recommended a company to remediate the water and potential mold, but was there that morning to assess the situation and provide a temporary fix while I figured out my plan. Over the next few days, the owner, Steve, came out to give me an estimate, assess the damage and issue, and schedule the job. Brett and Dan came out to complete it a few weeks later. They finished in less time than planned, left everything completely clean and neat, were personable and friendly- in my opinion, went above and beyond. Request these two gentlemen next time you need plumbing work. They have a combined 30+ yrs experience and it shows.

I called Good Call Plumbing after receiving news (from another local plumber) that I'd have to have my concrete ripped up in my basement to find the clean out or install a new one. Steve came over to quote it and said "whoa...let's trouble shoot the problem first"....which he did. My sewer was backing up into my basement, and he took the time to find the main sewer line and then asked to open a wall to see if the clean out was hidden in the wall. He took a piece of drywall out maybe 2'x4' and wala...he found the clean out. The problem was roots in my line which they were able to camera and remove completely. They are professional, courteous, and show up when they say they will. The office staff is also very professional, friendly and helpful. This was the BEST call I've ever made! Thank you!!! :)

I called Good Call Plumbing to look at my backed-up basement drain. The receptionist gave me a quote and told me she would fit me in that day. Well, less than two hours later Jake and Calvin were at my door (after calling ahead) ready to tackle the drain. They used a camera to view the drain and then rodded the drain. They even cleaned up the sewer mess on the floor. After that they fixed the slow flow of the utility sink faucet, and they fixed the water softener salt tank ( a bridge had formed). Jake and Calvin were patient with my questions and always professional. I was very happy with Good Call Plumbing and will be recommending them to family and friends!

Fantastic company! I had 3 quotes before them. They had the best price, were the most professional, and also pointed out a crimped line on my water softener the other companies didn't even notice. The day of the job they sent 3 plumbers. They were such an efficient team, I was super impressed! I got a new electric water heater, a filter under my sink,a new faucet, and my sewer line rodded out with a camera view (which I got to see before and after all the roots they got out!) They were done in 3 hours. I couldn't believe how smooth it all went! I'm so happy with it all. Everything works perfectly and looks beautiful!
