I cannot say enough good things about Doug and Daniel, they truly know what they’re doing. We had a massive leak on our exterior main line, and from the initial estimate call with George Plumbing Co., Doug and Daniel were able to quickly and accurately locate the exact source of the leak. We were expecting a very expensive repair based on prior quotes from other companies, but Doug and Daniel walked us through several reasonable options and explained everything clearly. We decided on a 5-foot spot repair that fit within our budget, and thankfully that solved the problem. Our water was restored and running perfectly again. We’re extremely grateful for their honesty, professionalism, and expertise. Highly recommend!

Tyler and Abel did an amazing job fixing our pipes. They were very informative at explaining the situation and what they needed to do. No gimmicks or doing a half-fast job. Everything was done perfectly! Not to mention, on the last day, they needed to access the pipes in my closet wall, which meant loud noises for my kids. Tyler was very understanding, and I appreciate him being very considerate of my kids being sensitive to loud noises. Overall I would trust and recommend using this company again if we ever have an issue again. Thank you again to Tyler and Abel!

Jake & Jared came out to replace a section of sewer pipe that had bent over time. They also added a regulator to my water heater . They explained the process thoroughly and their office would always check in to make sure everything was alright. 10/10!

Good customer service but prices are ridiculous. 1100$ to install a faucet, 500$ to replace angle valves.

Because we had a good experience with Shaun some years ago, I contacted George Plumbing this week to clear our plugged, kitchen sink drain. Same day appointment was scheduled for the afternoon. (Upon scheduling the appointment, they stressed that their "new" way of doing business would be to diagnose the situation and provide alternatives to fix the problem; in this case the clogged drain!) Dan and Austin showed up as promised to diagnose the situation and provide alternatives. The drain was stopped up and needed to be "snaked," but first they needed an alternate solution to comply with their "new" way of doing business. At this point they needed to look outside the house to determine if there could be an issue with the exterior drain line. Seemingly, the outside line could have issues affecting drainage so now they provided their altetnatives. They could dig up and replace 5 or 6 feet of exterior pipe at an estimated cost of over $1,000 or create a temporary bypass for $360. No consideration was given to using the snake as a primary solution. That being said, without thinking, I chose the temporary fix and they cut the existing line and created a bypass from the exposed exterior pipe to the cleanout, only to discover the drain was still plugged! Now, after the failed alternative fix and a 3 inch chip out of our front door threshold, caused by dragging the snake machine through the door, they used the snake to successfully open our drain. $360 down the drain! Next time I'll call Roto Rooter!

Update 4/25/2025: Future plumbing needs arose upon discovering my hot water heater popped overnight and flooded my kitchen. Happy Friday! I contacted George's Plumbing immediately, and they had Nick and Clay come out to assist promptly - they had the issue identified quickly, and immediately had their colleague Jake notified to come assist with the water remediation. It's hard to enjoy a day when you awaken to such an issue, but these three were such a joy to interact with - absolute pros, incredibly knowledgeable, and it was evident that these gentlemen took pride in their work. Not only did they get my water heater issue resolved, a new water heater installed, and performed work to assist with the installation without a single complaint or issue - and they took my anxiety and stress away as much as is possible with the experience and assistance. As mentioned below, my family has utilized George's Plumbing for years - and with each experience I have on my end I am constantly reminded of why they chose to give their business to George's. I shall continue to do so on my end, and would highly recommend utilizing George's for all of your future plumbing needs. Whether it's a simple toilet clog, or a water heater deciding it was time to go out with a bang, yell for George. And if you're fortunate enough to get Nick, Clay, and Jake on an emergency - rest assured, you are in the best hands possible for the San Antonio, TX area. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My family has used George's for decades (the original recommendation coming from others working in the plumbing profession itself), and I've tried to keep that tradition up as a new homeowner experiencing their first plumbing issue. Kody and Nick from George's were the best - professional, knowledgeable, honest and up front. I sincerely appreciated their approach and transparency with respect to my issue, and the potentials and costs that could be associated. These gentlemen were pros, through and through. Further, the entire experience from my initial call, to their follow up, to the work itself was a pleasure - and I very much appreciate their attempts to resolve the issue as expeditiously and inexpensively as possible. That focus on customer care was evident from the moment I spoke to the lady who took my call, and was carried through every individual I spoke to and worked with. I hope this review assists some of you in the future who are on the look out for a reputable company to assist with your own plumbing issues. George's may not be as cheap as an alternative provider, but *you get what you pay for* - and what I received was the best damned service experience I've had in months. Highly recommend, and will absolutely be utilizing George's for any future plumbing needs. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01/30/2026: I had the best experience, if such a thing is possible, with getting a replacement for my water softener from George's Plumbing, with Nick assisting again - which is always just a fantastic experience as a customer. As always, they were extremely communicative about the schedule/time, provided a heads up phone call to ensure the time was good, and then assisted with not only installing the new unit after we decided upon our purchase as well as helping to rectify some of the issues to ensure the install was up to code. All without any additional charges. I can't reiterate enough how pleasant my experiences over the past years have been with using George's Plumbing. They continue to remain my absolute go to for any plumbing needs or advice - their recommendations are always honest, transparent, and help me as a customer to feel extremely comfortable when it comes to making these decisions for my home. Communicated with George Plumbing for an estimate to have repair on my 3-year-old Rinnai tankless water heater. Instead, they sent me a $8,158.39 estimate to “fix” it. Let that sink in. EIGHT THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-EIGHT DOLLARS to repair a unit that’s barely three years old. A brand-new tankless water heater installation in San Antonio costs $5,000–$7,000. They literally want more money to patch up my existing heater than it costs to replace the whole damn thing. Every single line item is padded beyond belief — $2,475 just to change roof terminations? $2,037 for a flame rod? They’re charging what feels like $400+ an hour and calling it “code compliance.” This isn’t plumbing — this is straight-up price gouging. I’ve never seen such an outrageous, greedy quote in my life. Practices like this are exactly why I’m filing formal complaints with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (their license is M1527) and the Texas Attorney General’s office. If you value your money, stay far away from George Plumbing. They are scamming people with these insane markups on already botched installations. Save yourself the headache and the wallet pain — go somewhere else. Reply to a nonsense response: This response is complete nonsense. What does the attic or roof access have to do with charging $2,475 just to replace vent terminations, or $2,037 for a flame rod? A genuine Rinnai flame rod costs about $42. Even the highest plumber labor rates in San Antonio run around $150 per hour. Codes or no codes. How does one small part turn into over two thousand dollars? You quoted me $8,158 to repair this tankless water heater. A brand-new tankless installation in San Antonio costs between $5,000 and $7,000. How does fixing the existing unit cost more than replacing it entirely? You created this entire estimate based on the photos and descriptions I sent you. We had our water softening system And reverse osmosis replaced. We’ve had them for about 10 years and it did what it was supposed to do and had to run their course. I called George Plumbing because their number was on the old unit which I had forgotten about. Eventually they sent plumbers out to see what the problem was and that’s when we met Kody and Able. These gentlemen are awesome. They were very professional from beginning to end. I’m An observant person and I watch even when people don’t think I’m watching. First of all they put the little shoe covers on to make sure they didn’t track dirt in and out of the house and didn’t have to be asked. Also, Kody wasn’t pushy when it came to making a selection or sale. He presented the information to us and allowed us to make the decision. Also, it was brought to our attention that Mr. (Able) was training. I watched very closely how Kody treated him how he spoke to him how he engaged with him and how he was training him. I don’t like bullies. He was very patient with him and I watched how he taught him ,he asked Able if he knew how to do something and if he didn’t, he showed him. Kody was patient with Able. He was also patient me because I had a lot of questions. Some of them were not job related as we had some common interest however it never slowed him down or distracted him from the job he was here to do. Same with Mr. (Able) while working he and I talked a little bit of sports, but again never slowed him down. These were just two great guys they just happened to be on on a job. Almost like you had your friends who just happened to be plumbers doing the work for you. They did their job well. Answered all of my questions and the only trace that they were ever here is the water softener and my new RO system. These guys are an asset to your company and you should be proud to send them out to represent you, because they represented themselves very well. Shawn and Will arrived promptly to service the floor furnace at our 70+ year old homestead. Shawn quickly diagnosed the problem and had the parts to complete the project in short order. We are second generation customers of George Plumbing and, like our parents, have always been impressed with their fast, courteous, friendly and reasonably priced service. Shawn and Will did not disappoint! Thank you! It’s 2026 and we are updating our review to let everyone know that we continue to ‘yell 4 George’ whenever we have plumbing issues at our now 75yr old family home. When we need service, our call is always handled by a friendly, concerned staff who listens carefully to the problem and schedules us for the earliest, most convenient appointment to get the issue addressed. The communication doesn’t stop there, though, as they will text reminders for your upcoming appointment and alert you when the service crew is on their way. You don’t have to worry that your need (that might sometimes be more urgent) is minimized or forgotten. Our most recent repairs involved replacing a toilet and fixing dripping faucets which were handled quickly, expertly and professionally by Kody and Abel. They diagnosed the problems, clearly explained what was going on and any options for repair, and answered all our questions in as much detail as we needed. They also gave us valuable advice and recommendations on how to more efficiently maintain and monitor our aging plumbing system. We fully trust George Plumbing Co., appreciate their kind and friendly service, and will always call them first for any plumbing problems.

My only regret is that I didn’t find George Plumbing sooner. Short story: Nathan and Jared showed up and fixed for less than $1,000 what another company quoted $7,000 to $18,000 to dig under our house, diagnose the problem, and possibly do a massive replacement. Long story: Last year we paid another company $10,000 over two months to replace almost all of our pipes. After all that, I still had backfill issues. This week, the section of pipe that didn’t get replaced started clogging and wouldn’t drain. The other company came out and couldn’t locate the blockage with their camera or auger. Their best advice was to “sell the house” or dig a $7,000 trench so they could investigate. I started calling for second opinions. George Plumbing was the first with same-day availability, and Nathan and Jared showed up in about 45 minutes. Nathan got his camera down to locate the issue, then sent his machine in to break up the blockage. Turned out to be root intrusion from 45-year-old pipes shifting. Now we’ve saved thousands of dollars, avoided tunneling under our house, and we’re moving forward with a clear plan to replace that section. Again, my only regret is that George Plumbing wasn’t the company that handled my big project last year. I believe they would have done a better job, and the experience would have been much more pleasant.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Apparently 2024-2025 has decided to be my era of plumbing problems. After a terrible experience with another company I started using George Plumbing. They have fixed a hall bathroom sink, an upstairs tub gasket, connected a gas grill to my main gas line, fixed a leaking washing machine line, replaced a water heater, and now Tyler and Nathan fixed some kind of crazy rat chewed kitchen sink line. Every time they have been prompt, or called me to tell me if there is a delay and offered to reschedule. They go through the options and pricing so there are no surprises. What I like is they are very good at troubleshooting. The issues I have had were not always straightforward (especially the 1970's bathtub) and they used different methods to determine a fix. All of the work is warrantied for two years, which is much better than the six months to a year most other places offer. They keep a lot of the supplies on the truck which is awesome because they aren't leaving back and forth to the plumbing supply. Overall, my experience has been really solid, which is not easy to find in this city.

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service George Plumbing Company recently provided. On April 29th, I contacted their office regarding a possible water leak in my yard. Tyler promptly arrived the following day to assess the situation and clearly explained the necessary steps to resolve the issue. Despite challenging weather conditions, Tyler returned the next morning with Matt, and together they located the leak within an hour and completed the repair. I was especially impressed by their professionalism, efficiency, and dedication, particularly given that they were working in rainy conditions. Their commitment to quality work and customer service did not go unnoticed. It is rare to encounter such reliability and care, and I am truly grateful for their efforts. Finding a trustworthy plumber can often feel uncertain, but George Plumbing Company has set a high standard. Jake came and explained what needed to be done, and why, to replace our outdated water softener. He and Art came and worked and worked for over ten hours to complete the job. They were very professional and worked well together. Very amicable and ready to tell us what they were doing. When the inspector came he said he knew how well the George Plumbing plumbers do their job. Overall very satisfied. We have found our new plumbing company. Thank you Jake and Art. Additional review: The softener needed more salt, so I called and spoke with Jake, I think I dialed his number by mistake, but he was kind enough to speak with me and relayed the information to the office. Mica from the office called and set up an appointment for the next day. Shawn came and added the salt, tested the quality of the water from the softener and the hard water outside, and reset the settings. He was very informative and answered all my questions. 2025: Update- George plumbing to the rescue again! (Happens in 3’s) Will and Austin helped unclog our pipes and made the process easy and stress free! Thank you for your Great customer service! Thank goodness for George Plumbing! I have the membership with them and it paid off in spades today! Will and Freddy were courteous, informative and highly skilled. Grateful as always for these folks! 2024: George Plumbing did it again! Doug and Nick and Patrick did a great job installing 3 toilets and a new gas oven in our home. Thank you for many years of great service! 2020: We couldn't be happier with George Plumbing! Doug has been to our home several times and is always professional and friendly. On top of that - it's always DONE RIGHT! He's even fixed problems other plumbers created! Today he brought Will with him, and he too is exceptional - really knows his profession. I used George Plumbing for a bathroom remodel. They installed a jetted tub and I am waiting for them to install a faucet and toilet. The plumbing technician complained the entire time he was working on the drain and other pipes for the tub. He was always in a bad mood and very sarcastic. To add to my experience t had to help him lift the tub into place. I have tried the tub several times and noticed cold air was blowing out of the jets. I opened the service panel and there is a hose with a red tag that says this must be connected to the hot water line. Obviously the plumbing technician didn't notice this or care. I offered to provide the instructions and installation manual and the plumbers didn't seem to want to look at it. I will contact the owner to try to resolve this and ask for a discount or something. George may be good but his employees need to be retrained.
