Amazing service from Travis. My bathtub was leaking, and he was able to fix it in no time. He handled the job with professionalism and care, and he even arrived on time despite the extremely inclement weather. The price was very fair as well. I’ll be using this company for all my future plumbing needs.

Travis from ESSER Plumbing was here to fix a clogged drain and low water pressure in my kitchen sink. I am beyond happy and I have to say he was very polite and knowledgeable and did not make a mess! Travis has been a plumber for 17 years, and I trust him! Highly recommend!

I hired Ray Esser & Sons to replace a water heater, which they completed satisfactorily. In the process of doing this work they unplugged my sump pump and flooded my basement. They sent a crew to extract the water but have become unresponsive when I asked them to pay for the damages. Actions speak much louder than words and this case is no different. The thousands of dollars in damages and cleanup were at my expense. I will not be doing business with this company again.

NO SHOW for an estimate, with no call to advise. Waited all afternoon. Wanted Seventy five Dollars for the estimate, until I told them the web site says "FREE".

Ryan, Travis, Tony, and Charlie of Ray Esser & Sons did a spectacular job! The closet in the garage is cleaner now than when they got here and the concrete slab they had to cut from the surrounding of our house looks almost like it did before (see pics)! All four went above and beyond to clean up – even though it had rained and the mud stuck to everything. They were courteous and conscientious in communication and while physically completing the job. Far beyond what I had expected and I couldn’t be more impressed with the work they did. True professionals! When we bought our house we knew that the cistern had to go and we needed to hook up to rural water. Finding a plumber, we thought, would be the most complicated part of this process. Turns out that hiring Ray Esser & Sons has been the simplest and most pain free part of the process. Ray Esser & Sons came highly recommended by word of mouth from the people my husband works with as well and I now understand why! Within a week of contacting them they came out, gave us a quote and did two days’ worth of work. The whole process had one contact person which made communication between me and my husband easy as he was the one who they explained everything to, but I was the one who stayed home to be at the house while the job was done. I was nervous being here alone and about explaining what was done, but the men put me at ease, did a great job explaining, and even let me video tape the explanation so I didn’t have to remember it all. Based on my dealings with them thus far I have no doubts that they did the job well and that if something goes wrong, they will stick to their promise to come out and fix it. I would give them 5+ stars if I could. It is nice to know that truly professional companies still exist who employ skilled tradesmen and that you can trust what they tell you. If you had any doubts about hiring this company, I hope this review helps end those doubts. My husband and I are very pleased with our decision and will call Ray Esser & Sons for any plumbing needs we have in the future – they’ve earned a customer for life.

Tom was our Foreman on a much larger project two years ago when we had two bathrooms remodeled in our century home. I can not speak highly enough of Ray Esser & Sons Plumbing, Elyria, OH. Tom oversaw every detail of work on this project, and he took care of our home as if it was his own. My husband and I worked every day without worrying with Tom and his team there. Running into some additional problems, as one can expect with older homes, we had to hire additional contractors for this project. Not knowing how to managed any of this once I hired the contractors, Tom worked with them directly making sure everything was to our expectations including the safety and security of our home. Ray Esser and Tom have been one of the family ever since. Today's call was the outside spigot. I received a surprise call from Tom an hour before our appointment to see if the husband made it home early. I was so happy Tom was on the job. He said when he heard I called, he was making sure he was the one out to the house. The problem end up being good ole Lorain's calcium build-up - UGH!. Quick and easy fix and didn't break the bank. Thumbs-UP!!!!!!!

3 days before our family Christmas eve celebration for 30 people our shower plumbing is leaking in the wall dripping down into the family room ceiling (luckily a closet). My husband quickly changed the valve (previous experience) but this time it didn't correct the problem. We just happened to see an Esser truck on the road and gave the number a call. I explained my issue and was told a plumber would be at our home between 8-9 AM the next day. Sure enough Travis was at our home by 8:00 AM! He diagnosed our issue and repaired the problem. He was fast, efficient, had all the equipment he needed on his truck and was very professional. His work was excellent and he left our bathroom as clean as he found it. The charges were less than expected for such a quick and complicated repair. Rest assured we are keeping the phone number to this business on speed dial!

Rob installed a sump pump for me today. It was done in a timely fashion and he explained its operation as this pump was different than my previous pump. Following the install he took the time to advise me on a problem with my shower. I will be asking for him again to fix that . He has also installed a hot water heater and fixed a leak under my vanity. I highly recommend him and Esser Plumbing. October 20, 2023 Used Esser again today. Travis and AJ installed a new kitchen faucet. They discovered faulty shut off valves also and replaced them. They were here on time and finished quickly. Everything is working fine. I again highly recommend Esser January 8, 2025 I always use Esser. Travis again showed up before the scheduled time which was great. He quickly took care of my toilet problem and cleaned up properly. Very satisfied.

I had a serious problem with my swimming pool lines leaking and needed them replaced. As this company did the original plumbing in our house, (but not the pool), I called them when pool companies were too backed up to get to us any time soon. Ryan came out, listened to what I wanted done, made sure he understood the job, and gave us a fair estimate the next day. Two days later, Ryan was at my house, bright and early, making sure his guys, Travis and AJ, knew exactly what I wanted. They used top notch materials, tested everything as they went along, and even with an equipment breakdown, which they swapped out quickly, were done in two days. Both Travis and AJ worked their behinds off to get this done. I am extremely pleased and would Highly recommend them . Roy Rich

Rob came out from the office to auger my toilet because the assigned technician was running over on another job. This was very much appreciated because I has another appointment and was under tight time constraints. He provided quick, friendly and professional service. He also provided me with estimates to install comfort height toilets while he was here. Pricing is very reasonable. We will always call Esser Plumbing for any future plumbing service needs. Travis from Esser Plumbing came out to my house today (1/23/2025) to unclog my kitchen drain. He was excellent - polite, knowledgeable, explained my options and everything he did. I highly recommend Esser Plumbing and will use them for any future plumbing needs.

Rob and Warren notified me of an earlier arrival due to a cancellation in their schedule. They arrived promptly and began teamwork to repair a few things at the house. I thought the garbage disposal needed replaced. These two gentlemen were prepared to replace it. After looking into the existing disposal, the technician noticed there was a screw and toothpick inside preventing it from working appropriately. Esser’s will always have our business because these technicians showed integrity which is so hard to come by. I will always ask for Rob and/or Warren. These two showed knowledge, integrity, precision, troubleshooting abilities, and a great work ethic. I appreciate them and their skills. Thank you.

Once again it was Ray Esser and Sons plumbing to the rescue. I called today and spoke with Heather about my water heater bursting over the weekend, and need for a replacement ASAP. She was able to give me a quote, and schedule them to come out and replace it this afternoon. It turned out that the guy they sent was Travis, who worked on my pool lines a few years back. He was quick, efficient and friendly, and a short time later, he and his assistant had our tank replaced and we had hot water. In a world where it’s hard to get company’s to come out to do work at your house, it’s good to know that you can count on Ray Esser and Sons Plumbing to take care of your plumbing emergencies. We had a minor emergency with our kitchen sink. It was hopelessly clogged and could not be used at all. I called and spoke to Georgia who was very pleasant and concerned for our situation. She said she would call one of their plumbers to see how soon they could come out. She called back in 5 minutes and said they could have someone there within the hour! Travis and AJ showed up about a half hour later and had the drain cleared in under an hour! Travis was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what needed to be done. Both Travis and AJ were very courteous and professional. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them for future repairs.

I had the Ray Esser crew at my home the last 2 days to bring in a new water line from the street into the house. Elyria Water department was here also. The two teams worked very well together. I highly recommend Ray Esser's team. They attended to all the problems with professionalism. They were all very personable and kept me in the loop as to what they were doing. Travis was there to answer my questions through the procedures. The young men that worked with him were very polite and personable.
