The technician was prompt and on time. He even called me when he was 20 minutes out to let me know his arrival time. He did an excellent job and made sure to lay out floor covers for any mess. He left the place clean and the line cleaned. We will definitely use Elite in the future and I will happily refer them to any who ask.
Isaiah, our technician was fantastic. He was easy to talk to and explain things really well. We had a pretty good clog so he needed to take the toilet off and made a video and showed us and explained every step of the way. Super nice guy really appreciate him.
Very fast and professional. Came out 2 hours after I called and after clearing my drain they sent a scope down the pipe to discover that roots from my tree had destroyed a section of the sewer line. By end of the day they had an excavation crew at work. I have a basement so they had to dig almost 12 feet deep. Day 2 they had completed the repair and day 3 it was inspected and backfilled. The price was a little on the high end, but it was all done in accordance with codes, utility locates performed, permit pulled, inspected, and properly compacted. Not to mention fast. As a construction project manager, I know this isn't the type of work that you cut any corners on and Elite didn't disappoint. The 10 year warranty lets me flush with confidence. My technician (David) was prompt, courteous, professional and communicative. Their customers are in good hands.
I contacted Elite Rooter for a sewer line backup in my basement. A technician arrived within the two-hour window, cleared the clog, and showed me what he claimed was a broken section of my sewer line. I paid for the service, expecting the issue to be resolved. Less than a week later, my sewer backed up again. When I called Elite Rooter, the representative told me someone would call me back shortly since it was a repeat issue. Almost immediately after hanging up, I received a call from a man who claimed to be a manager. Instead of taking responsibility or discussing any type of warranty or accountability for their previous work, he told me they would charge more than the first visit to come back. He was extremely unprofessional, argumentative, and repeatedly said, “Clearly you don’t understand plumbing.” When I asked about Elite Rooter standing behind their work, he continued to argue rather than help. At that point, I had no confidence in this company. I ended up calling a different rooter company, which actually addressed the problem professionally. I would not recommend Elite Rooter based on their poor follow-up, lack of accountability, and unprofessional management behavior.
Do NOT use these people! We had a pipe in our laundry room burst back in August. Elite Rooter came out to evaluate and said it would be $3000 and they needed $1500 up front. We gave them $1500 and they started the work. They jackhammered some and then needed to have someone come inspect it, at which point it was determined they needed to jackhammer twice the distance and it would cost us an additional $1500 and they would need to move our water heater. It needed to be fixed so we agreed. Water heater gets moved and we are told we should now have hot water however after the technician left we tried to use hot water and had none. They came back later to "re-connect" the water heater but we were not getting hot water in half the house. Another technician came out and said he had fixed the problem. That fix was to crank the water heater temperature as high as it goes which is not only a safety hazard but ruins water heaters. We had another plumber come out for a separate issue and he asked to take a look at their work since he was surprised it was taking them so long. He then proceeded to discover they had broken a copper pipe and tried to patch it with an insulating foam sealant instead of fixing the problem. Daniel heard our frustrations and came out and confirmed that the technicians did indeed ruin our water heater and that he would ensure we got it replaced on them. At this point there was no trust with Elite Rooter so we used the 2nd plumber who thoroughly explained how bad of work they had done. The new plumber completed the work the same day! We sent Anette (apparently the ONLY PERSON that deals with refunds/payment) over 20 emails and more than 30 phone calls without response over the last 3 months. They refuse to pay for the replacement water heater that they broke so now we are forced to take them to small claims court. The owner of this company should be ashamed of the quality of work and customer service provided.
Plumber to Avoid: Elite Rooter Plumbers Do not every hire this company!!! Ever! Seriously hire any other company. Please read below before you think about calling them for assistance I had a sink clog so it wasn't draining at all. The guy came within 1-2 hours of calling. First thing he did was try to sell me a $1200 pipe cleaning. I said, I don't need pipe cleaning, I just need the clog resolved. I then agreed to pay ~$250 to clear the clog. He worked for 15-20 minutes and said he was unable to remove clog with snake and he needed to use the water spray to resolve the clog. This was the $1200 service. I had already been dealing with the clog all day and just wanted it done so I agreed. He worked for maybe another 45 minutes and declared the clog was resolved. Then he demanded a 5-star google rating. I said well I guess you fixed it so sure. He did not put the drain back together and left. I was happy to have the sink to use for preparing dinner. I put the drain back together. It was just as clogged as when the guy got there. I called him. He returned and said he didn't know how to resolve clog but his boss would contact me on Monday. This was a Saturday afternonn/evening. I was not happy about not having a kitchen sink for rest of weekend but we dealt with it. I waited until 1pm on Monday to be contacted by his boss. I was not given his number. When I had not been contacted, I called and requested a refund. Obviously, I'm not paying for not having a sink for another 2 days, let alone $1200. I found that price absurd and you should too!! For all I know the guy did nothing since the drain was still clogged. I hired another company (Mile High Drain) who sent out two guys and resolved the issue within 45 minute. The put the drain back together and we have had no problem since. I paid them $175 plus a $30 tip for each guy. I assumed that the Elite Rooters had refunded me. 6 weeks later I was going through credit card charges and realized that that charge had not been reversed. I assumed it had been a mistake and called to remind them to refund me. I waited another week, still no refund. I have called at least 6 times, trying to be nice, to request the refund. They currently claim that their customer service cannot refund the charge and that a "manager" has the power to do it. They state they have told the manager to contact me and so far he has not. On my account they say the refund was denied because "the work was completed". I have told them I just want a refund. I don't want to hurt their business but I cannot in good conscience not make this public, whether I ever get refund or not. This is the worst customer service experience I can recall. Please, please please there are many great plumbing business in the greater Denver area who you can hire who will treat you great. This business is not one of them.
Honest review coming your way! If you don't want to read a lengthy post, just read this: DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! They will ROB you on their pricing, take advantage of your situation, ask you inappropriate questions in order to gage just how much money they can get out of you, all-round malicious and unbelievable. They only get 1 star because it won't let me leave 0 stars. My husband was out of town on business, and we had something of an emergency situation with a blockage in the pipe. Our house in Keenesburg was built in 1925, so the septic piping was cast iron inside the house, and "orange berg" outside leading to the septic tank. Upon later review, their website said they had a special going on for $80 exam and rooter. The first round of ridiculous pricing was they charged me around $300 just to pull a toilet and scope the pipe. They said they couldn't see anything with their scope from that, but thought there was a blockage where I had already told them I thought there was a blockage. So they wanted to dig a hole outside, cut into the pipe, and scope again. They charged me approximately $5,000 to do that!! When I asked if that was replacing the entire line from the house to the septic tank, the manager, Katie, told me YES that was to replace the entire line. While I thought that was an extremely high price, I didn't know any better and said yes let's do it. After digging said hole, cutting into the pipe, and scoping; they told me that the pipe had a hole in it and some liquid was leaking into the earth in addition to some of the earth getting into the pipe and was the probable cause of the blockage. Then they gave me a NEW price, to replace the whole line, when they already gave me a price for the whole line! After giving a 15% discount, the price came to approximately $12,000!!!! What?! The manager, Katie, only gave the discount after speaking to her boss, Alfonso. She practically said that anything less than that price and her guys would have been working for free! I begrudgingly agreed, because we had already come that far, and again I didn't know any better. Upon later searching around with other companies, I should have only been charged around $1,500 for the entire project!!! After finding that out, we contacted the company to see if they would make it right, and they did nothing at all. The inappropriate questions were from Katie's boss, Alfonso. He asked how much we paid for the house, what me and my husband did for work, and how long we've had the house for. I can only hope that this review helps someone avoid the mistake I made of hiring them. Even in an emergency situation, DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Be without water for a few days if it will save you over 10k!!!!
This is a horrible company. Sorry. Just horrible. I have videos and the original contract with them promising to replace my drain line. They put a camera down the line, and said there were all sorts of issues from roots, to cracks, dips, etc. The line has been working fine for over 25 years, and had to snake it twice only. 1st day, they dug 5 feet, then stopped, said that I agreed to the 5 feet. I flipped out. Cancelled payment, call my attorney, filmed everything. Plumber agreed that company should have not done that, and he corrected my original contract to protect me from them. 2nd day, they now agreed to dig the 30 feet to the spray painted marks, they put there, but stopped about 3 feet shot again, and refused to dig more. 3rd day, plumber agreed that they should have just finished digging while they had the machine, and 2 more feet would have been about 10 more minutes. Mind you the cost of the digging machine is $300 per day. Nope, they refused again. So, plumber said screw it, and just dig the rest by hand. The city inspectors are you best friends here, as they will not allow a pumbling company to basically screw you, and force them to put your land back to original, fill in dirt, etc. 4th, General manager comes out, and trys to smooth talk me. They offers to dig to the end of the yard, for $16,000 more dollars? Can you believe this shit? wow! Further, we are now on day 7, and they still have not filled in my nice long hole. This company is by far that absolute worse, will make every attempt to screw you! They really did nothing for me except try to charge me $5,000 every five feet of digging. Very scary behavior, criminal, and my attorney said that the mistake I made was NOT READING the contract before I signed it. My advice? 1st, read the contract, because they will screw you in court with a good contract that you signed. Beware!!! 2nd, make a note of this company, and just move on. Period. Very bad news!!! 3rd, use a friend if at all posible. and last, it is best to rent the back hoe, to dig the trench yourself. Simple. Once I knew the cost of the rental, the company backed way off, and started to work with me. I wish I could have talked to the inspector also. Never did see him. Just the wroste experience ever. The only saving grace, was the plumber who rewrote the contract, and called me everyday to make sure everything was ok, and that we would get through this. 5 starts to the plumber, 0 to the company. DO NOT use this company!!! you have been warned!!!
Avoid this company at all costs and find a trusted local plumber instead. I have roots in my drain, so every year I have to get them cleaned out. I've used Elite once before, and I decided to use them again. But this last time when they showed up, I scheduled what should have been a simple $79 annual pipe cleaning. Instead, it immediately turned into a hard-sell pitch for an $8,500 trench-digging and pipe replacement -- a major job that might be needed someday, but certainly not urgently like they claimed. (Mind you, they didn't even guarantee that this would fix all my problems. They said there might need to be more jobs that get done after this $8,500 job. ) They used sales tactics to try to scar me and make me think that I would only be getting this price for one day. I declined MULTIPLE TIMES because I wanted a second opinion, and I'm very glad I did. ALSO - Despite paying the $79, they didn't even clear the roots from the drain -- they just told me it was "too overrun" and then pushed the upsell anyway. After that, I received phone calls from them twice a day for a week trying to get me to schedule the expensive work. And Elite kept calling me. Trying to see what they could do to "earn my business". Eventually I got into a long discussion with one of their salesmen, and long story short, they talked me into considering them for a hydrojetting job. - Which would clear my roots, and they could then decide how bad my pipes were and what kind of further service I would need. Which they quoted me $1,600 for. Eventually, I had another trusted local plumber take a look. And they confirmed I had roots and a few other minor problems. But the roots were definitely the biggest problem that are causing my backups. and he also suggested hydro jetting done by his friend. So I scheduled him and he charged me a fraction of Elite Rooters 1,600 dollar price tag. I was blown away by how simple the hydrojetting process was, because by that price point, Elite told me I thought it was such a complex process. Bottom line: This company uses high-pressure tactics, inflated pricing, and artificially urgent sales pitches. Don't be fooled by the $79 "special." Hire a reputable local plumber -- you'll save money and avoid the corporate upsell games.
I had a backed up sewer main line. I chose Elite as thought it was small local company and found out later that it is not a small local company. The tech arrived and within a short time stated that the line was blocked ten feet from the clean out entry and he could not continue as the company policy is not attempt to break through a blockage with the rooter and to stop. I had the drain videoed a few years before and knew that within ten feet it was in plastic (SDR) pipe so either SDR failed and collasped or something was not making sense. The tech called in another tech with the camera and they started to show the sewer line. We went right past ten feet and nothing in the line. My line changes from SDR to clay and there were minor roots growing in at the clay pipe joints and city made a repair to the line a few years ago and that was noted. We found a blockage around 75 feet of white materials. The camera tech stated due to the root balls, the clay pipe joints and this major blockage that I needed to have my line replaced and also lined in the other sections at the cost of at least $23,000 and when could they get started. This took the tech about 5 seconds to come up with the price to replace the line. I said that I needed to discuss with my wife and that we would talk tomorrow. Due to a previous issue with sewer line there was a root ball about 75 feet that I was recommended to clean the root ball and I forgot about this until i saw the blockage at 75 feet. I took the video and sent to two other plumbers and both said the line is not perfect but does not need to be replaced today. One stated they would attempt to go through the blockage their rooter which they showed up and went though it. It was also recommended by one of the other companies to start using root killer to help remove and slow the root growth. I feel that Elite was not being truthful and dishonest and would not recommend as luckily I had previous knowledge of the line and also some good advice from other professionals.
I was having plumbing problems in my bathroom and called a reliable sewer company I have used before. When Elite Plumbing came out I was told they I was going to have to have new sewer pipes put in. I needed to have the work done as it was an emergency to get the bathroom unclogged. I had to go through agree on payment for them to start. I am on fixed income and no way have 15,000.00 so needless to say had to go through credit through them. At the same time the front faucet was shooting water out and I was told they will fix that. T couldn't get the part so they would just block it until they came back with a fimaucet. They came back and said they have never seen a faucet like this so they would just come back in the spring to spring to fix the faucet. Come spring time they never came back several calls made and no replies. In the spring you need to water the lawn so had to call another company and they came out and come to find out the way the plugged the faucet was with a gas pipe if you can imagine. I was charged for that work of putting a new faucet on and for the work they did to block the faucet, so paid for something that wasn't done and also had to pay another company to come out and do the work. I do believe I was scammed and they figured I was 80 years old and didn't know any better and a women. If I aknm asked about this company I will not give a garsood rating and also I am 1 1/2 years later I was told they want me to contact them ro resolve this I called them and of coure like all the other calls the call person said they will have the manager call me back. Hmmmm should I believe them, I don't think so. Do not use Elite for sewer or any other plumbing issues.'I was promised paper work and photos they took of the sewer line have never received them or the 20 year warranty promissed.
Update after Elite response: I have been in constant contact with Elite about their shortcomings and scammy sales nature. On 9/26/24 I was threatened with a lien on my property when I told them I would not pay as they had not completed the project. I would encourage anyone who is thinking about using them to search Colorado appeals court case 23CA1728. Also look at google reviews and sort by lowest, that shows their true nature. Called out Elite rooter to address a clogged shared sewer line at a rental property. Unfortunately, when the line backs up, it overflows into my neighbors basement with gross stuff. Elite said they could not clear the blockage and we needed a new section of line. We agreed to get started for the $11k, they called shortly after starting and said there was an off set at the main tap that needed to be addressed for an additional $26.5k. I told them no f-ing way, do what we agreed to. After completion of the job, they did not replace the pavers they said they would, I thought I had been scammed. I confirmed this by having a sewer inspector come and run a camera out to the city tap. The offset they were concerned about was minimal, very similar to the offset they introduced at the junciton of the new PVC section and the older clay pipe. They also left roots blocking the line at the city tap. If you are so inclined, read up on Colorado court of appeals case No. 23CA1728. It outlines how they pay their division managers a high commission on repairs over $1000. I would strongly caution to get a 2nd opinion on any repairs that they say you need as there is a decent chance this is being driven by the company commission structure and not the actual need for repairs.
10/10! I highly recommend working with Elite Rooter. I worked with Quentin from on a basement flood, and his service was absolutely exceptional! He arrived in a timely manner (we called around 7am), and stayed at our house until after 9pm to not only make sure he diagnosed the reason for the leak, but to make sure everything was fixed properly. He followed up with us to make sure we were satisfied, and to address any questions that came up as well. He provided his personal number which made us feel very attended to. He cut absolutely no corners. Since Quentin was only there to address the leak itself, he understood that's half the battle when dealing with floods. He provided us with his trusted partner company to address drying out the space and replacing the walls, and they came same day as well for a free quote! Our house was quite a challenge since it was built in the 50's, and our plumbing is very complicated. He even went above and beyond running to Home Depot multiple times to make sure he had parts that would fit the uniqueness of our home. He also took extra time to neatly and carefully chizzle the concrete in our walls by hand instead of using a jackhammer to make sure the repair was aesthetically clean (most houses recently have drywall, which is an easy extraction). Quentin also provided us with multiple updates, clearly explaining the issue and his repairs so we can feel confident in his work and be educated throughout the entire process. If questions came up later, also gave us his personal phone number to reach out anytime. THANK YOU Quentin for all of your amazing work! I will absolutely be contacting him for future projects.
Took them 2 days, 3 techs, and over 9 hours to ultimately replace two bathroom sink drains ($15 parts). And they replaced them with silver drains that don't match our brushed bronze faucets. It cost us almost $500 because they spent the whole time struggling to figure out why they wouldn't drain properly -- when we told them from the beginning that it looked like it was just the drains themselves that we're getting blocked. They left a new employee there for a full day who was sweet but had absolutely no idea what he was doing. He spent most of the day on the phone begging for help. Ultimately we ended up just paying them to get them out of the house. Other issues: 1. When they left overnight, they left the sinks opened up so our home smelled like sewer gases all night. 2. Part of our concern was that one of our sinks smells like the sewer occasionally -- maybe a venting issue? They did not resolve that. 3. They told us if they had to replace the p-traps it would be another $400 -- which is an insane number for a very cheap part that requires very little labor to replace. 4. This is the second time we used them... the first time our toilet wasn't draining properly. They came by and told us there was nothing wrong, the toilet was just old and we should replace it. I opened it up afterwards and saw that the flapper was falling apart -- replaced it myself in 2 mins and the toilet works just fine. So, in the end we realized we don't really have plumbing issues -- we have plumber issues. We were asked to leave a review maybe a dozen times. Super pushy. Anyways -- here's your review.
This company will majorly rip you off on pricing. I used them twice this summer. The first time was a big job so I didn't really have a gauge on if the price was fair or not, but after talking to another plumber I know now that I got ripped off. I gave them $8000 to do a job, which required them to remove the toilet in one of our bathrooms 8-10 times. The toilet became loose, and wasn't able to be tightened down. I called them again (I stupidly thought they might hook me up, since I just gave them 8k) to fix the toilet so it wouldn't wobble. Dude charged me $275 to replace one bolt on the toilet, which took him less than five minutes, and it was messed up from them taking the toilet off so many times! I also had them install a garbage disposal, which they charged $485 to do. The guy told me he was going to buy it at Home Depot so I looked up the model and it was $99. Took him ten minutes to put it in. They charged me $800 for less than 15 minutes of work. Then the next day we used the dishwasher and it wouldn't drain, because the disposal wasn't hooked up properly. So I had to have them come out AGAIN to fix it. Can't believe they didn't charge me several hundreds to fix their own mistake! Long story short, their prices suck. Tyler and some of the other dudes who did the work were awesome- can't fault them for their company charging insane prices. Y'all could have had a lifelong customer... but when you price gouge someone who just gave you a ton of money and is asking you to fix something you broke, I'm out!
