Great company great people . System was freezing over came out the next day . They stayed till it was fixed properly . They made sure my family was going to have heat . They only fixed the problem. Would highly recommend them . They didnt overcharge and was reasonably priced. Great company . Very quick to respond.

Our AC wasn’t keeping up with the extreme heat lately. Jake was out at our house the day after I called. He was on time, very polite, and explained things to me. When spraying our unit off didn’t solve the issue, he came back at 7:30pm the next day to try another solution. We will definitely be using this company again!!!

We had 2 mini splits Mitsubishi systems installed in our home. Evan did a wonderful job, at getting us what I wanted and he even took the time explaining everything to us. He even followed up with us, and he is just a phone call away if you need him. The guys installing it did a wonderful job! Seriously took there time and installed it correctly. Looks wonderful and is preforming like it should. The systems are so quiet you really don't know they are running. Seriously wonderful people we have meet to do a professional job.

Horrible business practice to curse at fellow drivers for not turning fast enough while driving a company vehicle in the snow. The employee had a cigarette in his mouth and face pressed against the window while vehemently cursing at me and my family. May I add this was while arriving at the subdivision/location of his service call. I know who I won’t be calling or recommending. I can’t imagine this person coming into my home.

Our old furnace (in our home/residence) quit working. After doing some checking around, we chose EJT & Sons. They responded very quickly, diagnosed the problems, and carefully and clearly explained the situation and laid out potential solutions and costs of each. Repairs were one option but would be expensive and could not eliminate risk that other (older) parts of the old furnace would have problems or fail even after the repair. We had several questions and John Jr. was good to answer them quickly and evenhandedly. In the end we decided to buy a new 2-stage high efficiency Trane furnace, given the age of the old unit, the high costs of repair, the higher efficiency of new units, lower operating costs, modern controls, and quieter operation, of a new unit. Consumer Reports research and other research indicated Trane brand was top-notch, very reliable, best of the best. John Jr. was great to work with to narrow down the furnace, warranty, and pricing options. Price of the Trane unit we picked, was fair/reasonable (and was good compared to quotes received elsewhere for other lower-rates and lesser quality brand/units). No surprises or add-ons. It was a turnkey price for the furnace/controls, etc., installed and up and running, with all taxes included. The crew was right on time and got the old furnace out and new one and new controls (thermostat with wireless interface) installed very smoothly. They explained what they would be doing and roughly how long it would take. When done, they also talked with us about the new furnace and helped set the settings on the new thermostat and explained how to use the new controls. We are extremely pleased. Very satisfied and would highly recommend EJT&Sons.

I was charged $132 plumber shows up tells me there’s no issues with my lines and I didn’t owe him anything . A week later I get a bill in the mail for a $132 for parts/labor/service call . So on Monday I call and point this out and was told it’s $132 if he didn’t do any work or not . This wasn’t an emergency call and it took about a week for them to even show up but I wasn’t rushing them . They did work previously for me and I was billed the same amount but decided to use them again because of honesty but wasn’t expecting a bill especially when no work was done and the man was under my house for less then 5 mins . About 2 years ago I called another plumbing company who did the same thing and found no issues and never billed me but this one did I’m just posting this review as a warning to any customer who uses them to make sure not to use this company unless you know that work needs to be done unless you like paying company’s for work that doesn’t need to be done . The lady on the phone was also a bit snappy with me and instead of working things out with me she just plainly tells me I’m stuck paying it and there’s nothing they were doing about it so in the future I’ll use someone else . BUYER BEWARE ** plumber told me on the phone that everything looked good and I didn’t owe them anything but you’ll still get billed . The first time I used them the plumber checked with me and told me a $150 quote even before he started the work so it seems fishy to me now I’m being billed for work that wasn’t even done

I had my HVAC and hot water tank replaced and a sewer break repaired. I'm very pleased with my experience from start to finish. Evan and the owner were transparent and did not try to upsell me with the estimate, recommending the cheapest option as what was most appropriate for my small home. The estimate was more reasonable than what I received from two other companies and provided more information so I could make an informed decision. They also worked it out to give 0% financing on the whole job, unlike the other companies who only offered 0% on the expensive systems or by charging more for the cheaper system. The HVAC crew (Josh and his helper) and plumbing crew (Joe and Willie) were great! Nice, hardworking people who made sure everything was done right, answered all my questions, and went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with the job. They came when they said they would and completed the job on time even though they ran into unexpected difficulties with the house. I felt very comfortable and confident with them the whole time. Highly recommend!

I needed to have heating installed in my house as well as gas line run to my garage with heating installed in it. I opened Google and called the first HVAC company I came to. EJ Thompson was my third call when they should of been my first. They came to do an onsite estimate the day I called. The first two companies scheduled days out and both were no shows. Everyone at EJ Thompson that I came into contact with was helpful, professional and incredibly nice. Pricing was upfront and fair, installation was on time and they kept me updated throughout the entire job. During the estimate process they patiently answered my questions, worked up estimates for different options and ultimately helped me find the right heating solution for my needs and house. 100% would recommend this company to anyone. Thank you again, I appreciate your team!

Called office yesterday to schedule HVAC system check and was able to have appointment today. The service technician Tyler called before the appointment to insure I was available and ready for the appointment. Tyler was professional and took the time to discuss our system and then options point out some additional service programs that would save us money insuring the system was covered. I am disabled and in a wheelchair so I asked Tyler to look at my duct work looking for issues or improvements. Tyler saw some issues and called the office to set up for a duct work specialist to come by and inspect my system. I have some areas in house that are colder than other spots. Happy how EJ Thompson approached my issues.

Very professional workers. Evan was very helpful in getting me prices and making the process of getting a new HVAC smooth and easy. I am the neighbor that was being worked on from the complaint about trash in his yard. This neighbor is not reputable as he thinks the whole neighborhood throws trash in his yard and his trash cans when we all have our own trash cans. This neighbor also has lots of junk in his backyard making our street look run down so unsure why he was so upset when the house next to him was just trying to upgrade their property something he can’t seem to do. This company is very good and the men work hard. We appreciated their timeliness in putting in our new system. Thanks!

Our A/C went out on one of the hottest days of this year. Johnny sent Jake out after normal hours and he arrived with a great attitude and desire to assist. Jake made two trips to our house that evening, and he was able to get the A/C running again with a "rescue motor" , because our unit was older. Upon Jake's recommendation, we have ordered a new unit to replace our old unit. It will be installed soon. Johnny and Jake made our evening and the days after much better than I anticipated when the unit went out. We appreciate them and their efforts very much. we have no hesitation at all recommending this company. Thank you Johnny and Jake.

Kyle installed a new furnace/heat pump recently. He was very knowledgeable; made some needed changes to accommodate our new furnace and heat pump; and my wife, Patricia, and I are pleased with the end result. Also, before the new furnace/heat pump was purchased, Josh did a very good job in explaining the difference between the new furnace/ heat pump that we ultimately decided to purchase and our old furnace/heat pump. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. We are very pleased with EJ Thompson & Son and not only will we highly recommend them to friends and family, but we already have.

This was my third project that EJ Thompson and son have completed. Of course, they are very knowledgeable and perform their craft, professionally and accurately. I really appreciated the additional information that Kyle and Leo spoke to me about opening all of the rooms downstairs to make the overall cooling more efficient. They also took the time to explain aspects of the compressor and the new thermostat. Oh and thank you Evan, for getting the install completed early on the day before the hot weather begins.Well I’m on to the next project with EJ Thanking you guys once again………… Charles

I can't say enough about this company and the owner. Initially I had a gas leak and the gas company had to shut off our gas. The nigh temperatures were in the teens. The owner scheduled the servicemen to come out the very next day and they were able to repair the leak the same day. The gas company came that evening to turn our gas back on. Additionally, there was a major blockage blockage in our pipes under the crawl space. E.J. Thompson again was able to unclog our drains and we are now in great shape. Wonderful experience and very friendly, caring, professional employees!
