We called Economy Plumbing Services, LLC for our church irrigation backflow annual inspection they were the most straightforward and offered a very fair price. We were able to save $25.00 this year by "Saving last year's receipt and showing it as they suggested on their email, "Show this to your service professional on your next service visit and save an extra $25! " Their technician, Sean, arrived on time and gave us a call 30 minutes before. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and did an excellent job. We are very satisfied with the work and the price."
I needed to have a toilet replaced at my house. I was able to text the number on their website and they responded immediately, scheduling a visit later that same day. Grant did great work on the install and was done in less than an hour and a half. The price seemed fair and I was happy with the result.
Larry was amazing! He arrived earliear than expected but wait until the hour, he help with everything and treat us really well, explained really well all the things and was super helpfull and friendly.
had a four hour appointment window didn’t even show up on time in my option. That’s a bad start so I canceled my appointment.
They were fast to respond, but the company's name makes you think that they might be economical. Nothing could be further from the truth. Plumber charged $500 per toilet (2 toilets x $500 = $1,000) to tighten the screws on the toilet because they were slightly loose. We were in a tight trunaround to get this work done because we were sellng out home and had no choice but to use them. When I complained about the price, the plumber said he would throw in the sanitation loop for free, but then left without doing it. When I called and complained and asked to speak with the plumber, I was told that he was too busy and that would not happen. I tried for weeks to get a receipt and they never would send one even after calling multiple times. I would definitely not call these guys ever again.
Sean the Manager from Welles Branch showed up to drain my water heater. He didn't. He said it was rusted and needed to be replaces. He showed me water around the bottom of the heater in the pan on which the heater was sitting. The water was not there the night before. I removed the water. There was no rust at the bottom of the heater. There is no water there after two days. He had a couple of minutes alone with the water heater so my conclusion is that he put the water there to force replacing a functioning water heater and a couple of valves a cost of over $3000. When I priced what he was offering compared to what I could independently, I could do all of what he offered at around $1000. I didn't want to waste money to replace a fully functioning water heater. I had one before that lasted more than 20 years. Rheem water heaters interior is glass coated for a long life if they are maintained properly. Be careful if you ever need anyone doing work in your house, make sure to ask around and get some decent people. There are a lot of thieves skinning a lot of innocent people and there almost no regulation and no control. We live in a strange time.
I originally requested an inspection of my water heater and gas lines and received an estimate for repairs. I paid over $1,000 expecting the issue to be resolved, only to be told afterward that my water heater now needs to be completely replaced. The service manager offered no real assistance and simply said there was nothing more they could do besides replacing it. At first, I was very pleased with the quick response and customer service. I even planned to recommend their services to a coworker and a friend, but after this experience, I definitely will not. I will not be satisfied until I receive a full refund.
I've had Sean out to my house several times over the last 10 years and have always had great service. This time we are dealing with a bathroom with a mysterious leak and a shower drain that gets clogged. Sean figured out what's been going on, gave me some much needed answers and even told me fixing my pipes could wait, it's not urgent! Seriously, the best 99 dollars I've spent in a long time. I'd had a bad experience with another company, who was quick to tell me it was going to cost me a ton of money before even checking it out. Call Sean at Economy plumbing first!
Spectacularly abysmal customer service. I paid almost 500 dollars for disposal hose to be left disconnected, rendering our sink and dishwasher unusable. After dealing with the hassle of their AI answering service to reach a human being, I was informed the only option to reattach the hose was by the same rude plumber who removed it because it was in his way. I could not speak to a manager as it was "4:00 on a friday" and therefore the only option was to wait the entire weekend to have use of the kitchen sink and dishwasher again. I am honestly disgusted.
I’ve had Michael out 3 times for 3 different plumbing issues, none related to one another. Although Economy Plumbing is a premium service and a bit $ I trust Michael and the work he has done has been excellent, top notch, and no calls to Economy to say he didn’t finish this, or he didn’t put this back right, etc. I have NOT been so lucky with the other subcontractor’s. So , thank you Economy Plumbing for employing trustworthy knowledgeable folks. Michael can come over anytime. Jason Cano. Our flood of May 2023.
The irony is the name. Outrageously expensive and I felt scammed by their quotes. They quoted $609 to change a shower cartridge. When I declined that, I asked them just to screw on a flow restrictor (which I supplied) on the shower head stem until I got home to fix it myself. They quoted $280 for that which I also declined. I feel bad for people paying these prices. It’s literally a 5min job with no parts. They spent all their time writing up outrageous quotes instead of fixing my simple problem.
The service was excellent. Liam was early (which was fine), pleasant and professional. Very personable yet focused. Listened well to my concerns and completed the repairs to my leaking toilet in record time. Provided the estimate before the work and several options. He also did a routine analysis/inspection of all the plumbing and made a few recommendations for future upgrades. Overall, I am pleased with the work and highly recommend this company without hesitation.
We have used Economy Plumbing a few times before and we are always pleased with the explanations, the price, the quality of the work, that they show up when they say they will, the care they take when they are in the house, and the clean up. When we needed a new water heater we got an estimate from Economy and two other estimates, which were 30-40% higher for the same unit. it's been installed and is working great - I can now take a hot shower.
I have to say I was extremely impressed with Liam. We had a complicated issue which he resolved flawlessly and in a timely manner. The work area was left clean and neat. Liam was well organized , smart and professional. Coincidently I had two issues in two different houses at the same time and economy plumbing surpassed my expectations at both job sites. I will be using them again in the future.
I wish there were more stars. At a time I was in desperate need of help immediately, Sean with Economy Plumbing came to my rescue. I had a frozen faucet that was overlooked when covering for the weather conditions. I called at 8:32 PM thinking to leave a message. Sean answered the phone, came and fixed my gushing faucet. Above and beyond service!
