I work for a large Baltimore City landlord. DrainPro's prompt and honest service is the best in town! 5 out of 5! - First American Group Property Management
Quick appointment and great service. Reasonable pricing. Highly recommend for answers to plumbing questions. Camera and cable was fast and very helpful.
I had several companies come and diagnose my pluming issue. Each gave me estimates that just did not feel right. A friend that was in the process of using DrainPro recommended them. They came in and check my issue, and they did a perfect test and found my issue, and it was totally wrong from the first company. They fixed my issue and check other areas without me having to ask them or charge me for the additional check, they were quick and reasonable in pricing for what they did. I will always use DrainPro when I have any more issues with Pluming. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a Trustworthy Company
My kitchen sink clogged the night before a trip. My dogsitter was staying at our house and we wanted to make sure they didn't have issues, so I called DrainPro after receiving their number from several plumbers who were unable to help. I was not expecting to pay $350 for less than 15 minutes of work. I can understand that the flat rate feels good for customers who have serious issues, but this was not serious, and was likely something a $8 bottle of Draino would've fixed if I'd have been home to deal with it. I asked Melissa for a quote before the work. I asked her to have the plumber call me when he was there to let me know what he had done and to verify that he checked the plumbing further down the line. I did not get a quote before hand, and I didn't get a phone call while he was there. Instead, I had to walk my dog sitter through checking the drain lines in the rest of the house to ensure he didn't just push a clog further down the line. I didn't receive an invoice and wanted to make sure we were square, so I followed up to make sure she didn't forget because I appreciated the assistance. I was completely mortified when I opened a $350 invoice. The plumber hadn't been there but a few minutes. When my wife and I returned from our trip, we found water still pooled under the sink and on the hardwood floors and the cabinet damaged. When I confronted Melissa about the lack of follow through with the quote and the call ahead of the work, she said she was sorry and forgot. She asked me what I thought I should pay, and I told her, in my experience, I never used a plumber that charged more than $200 for the first hour. She snapped back that I had no right to tell her how to run her business. In Maryland contractors are required to provide a quote prior to performing the work. I had not signed a contract, and I was expecting a call from the plumber to tell me the cost when I told my dog sitter she could let him in. Instead, he did the work and left before I could get a hold of anyone. When he finally called me back, he asked for an email to invoice and told me he didn't provide quotes, Melissa was supposed to handle that. I am pretty sure, legally, I don't have to pay for work done without contract or quote, and while I wasn't physically present. I offered a fair market value for the labor, but was treated like I'm the bad guy for pointing out that she had not met the legal minimum requirements to bill me. None of this is worth the money for either of us. I could be a walking billboard for DrainPro, but after this experience, I would stay away. I've never had such a terrible experience with a contractor in my life.

Update: Melissa from Drain Pro responded within 24 hours of this review to make things right. She not only assisted with paying the cost of the restoration, but waived my invoice and apologized for the inconvenience. Thank you very much! Original post: I had Drain Pro go out to my home after receiving a referral from another company. They arrived to my house Friday morning and I received no communication they had arrived, left, if anything needed to be fixed, or if the job was complete. I called repeatedly over the next 4 days and left voicemails that went unanswered. Finally, on Tuesday I received a text message that I needed to get an ejection pump fixed and a part replaced. Due to having no communication, when the bathroom was used Tuesday night after being away over the weekend, the same ejection pump overflowed and sewage backed up into my basement. When I asked why no one reached out to me, I was told "he plugged the pump into the wall and it came on so he assumed it would be ok". That assumption is now costing me $3,300 in sewage clean up fees, another $1500 for a new pump, and another $2k for reconstruction to rip up the flooring in the basement, replace the baseboards and the drywall. When asked if Drain Pro would assist or take responsibility for it, I was told "I'm sorry" and they stopped responding to me completely. They have directly caused me thousands in damages for something they knew was broken, and yet did not take any time to reach out and tell me. The bathroom is also now unusable for at least a week while the repairs get done. Seeking legal advice.
Our townhouse HOA just had a very timely routine inspection of our sewer lines with drainPro. Justin the plumber found a blockage in a main line that was already backing up and would have been in the basement of 2 homes within hours. Justin jetted the roots and cleared the blockage before it became a major insurance claim. I have used drainPro for almost 20 years to inspect, repair and clean the sewer lines at several townhouse communities. The skill of the technicians have been instrumental to proactively avoid sewer backups into the units. We continue to use this company because they are responsive when there are problems, they are flexible and easy to work with, they have the experience and expertise and tools needed to efficiently do the jobs. In addition, their charges are very reasonable. I encourage everyone to do regular routine inspections to avoid the problems that may be lurking in the sewer lines. It just makes sense, like getting a regular colonoscopy, which saved my life 5 years ago.
I have worked with DrainPro for about 15 years. My introduction to them was at a rental property I owned and DrainPro was maintaining the sewer system for the HOA. Pat Martin went out of his way to help me find a cleanout that was broken and he jetted my lateral sewer line that another plumber did not fix. After that, I was on several HOA boards and we have used DrainPro to service the community owned sewers to this day. The maintenance they have performed has saved numerous backups and insurance costs. Their technicians are well trained and the cost for services is a great value. I enjoy working with this company and I know that they go the extra mile to make everything work. I have always felt as a valued customer.
We had a backup in our kitchen sink that we tried to resolve ourselves (with a drain snake), unsuccessfully. That same evening our washing machine drain had the same issue. DrainPro was already scheduled to come the following morning. He was very professional and told me this was an easy fix. He snaked thru the washing machine drain out of the house, preventing having to cut kitchen sink pipes. The blockage was just outside of the house. The service guy was awesome, he put down drop clothes & cleaned up when he was done. I was very grateful as I had house guests at the time. I highly recommend their service!! Prompt, professional, & tidy! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Karen S
We had experienced some particularly difficult problems with the sewage pipes to a small apartment building. Sean was sent out and he was no less than amazing. At the point he arrived we had been through a series of backups and expensive drain cleaning. Sean was professional knowledgeable and determined to solve our problem. He completed the task in the time frame and thus far we have had no additional backups. I would not hesitate to use them again. Worth every penny. Renata Roland Park
I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Drain Pro. They did a fantastic job, and left everything working perfectly. The team was very professional, friendly, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. On top of the great service, their prices were very reasonable and the quality of work was excellent. I highly recommend Drain Pro to anyone who needs drain work done right the first time. I will definitely be calling them again for any future needs.
DrainPro was a life-saver! Our main sewer line was almost clogged shut near an old house trap outside in the yard. Bryce arrived on time and worked to snake the clean-outs from all directions until the line was clear. He was patient and waited for me to try draining the washing machine. It emptied fast with no sign of backing up in the basement floor drain, while he watched flow in the outside trap. Great service. What a relief to be back to normal!
I was so very fortunate to be put in contact with DrainPro, LLC when I had a major problem with roots in my drain system. Wow, what a wonderful group of people to work with. They answered all of my questions, my telephone calls, and did so very nicely. I never felt like I was asking too many questions. They were patient with me getting reimbursement from my insurance company. If you have a problem with your drain - please be sure to contact them.
I had a drain issue and called Roto Rooter. Total disaster. They charged me $950 and didn't fix it. Then they wanted me to sell me a $6500 solution to dig up my pipes. On a recommendation from my water guy I called Drain Pro. Fixed it for half the cost and identified the problem in 20 min. It was exactly where I thought it was. Fixed it. A clogged pipe from one toilet. Can't recommend these guys enough.
We have used this company twice to clear storm drains filled with thick roots. The high-pressure jetter is a powerful tool to cut through roots that are too big for rotary cutter. The technician was very patient and thorough in explaining everything to me and showing me what his camera was seeing. We will not hesitate to call them again when the need arises. Pricey but worth it.
