I couldn't afford them to expensive 575 dollars to unclog a sink

This company is not good at all! They lie about work that was previously done on a property that I purchased. Because of the dishonest work performed, I had to pay for work needed by another company because of damage that was caused by their negligence and lies. They claimed to have replaced a certain pipe that was not. A report signed off by them and the borough stated it was done, but pictures taken by other companies dispute this. I also had to call them a few weeks after I purchased the property because of the lack of replacement of groundwork, a large sink hole developed in my yard. An employee came out with a few bags of soil and discovered they would need a truck load of dirt. Why are they even in business?

Prompt, honest, straight forward and reasonably priced. They're my first call for drain related issues. First time I had to call them it was a few years ago after Roto Rooter came out and their 20-something plumber floundered around for about 2 hours running his auger through the inside and outside cleanouts without being able to clear my main line. Pete showed up after Roto Rooter gave up and left, and he got me cleared out in about 20 minutes. He acting amazed when I told him someone else tried and failed right before him. And he charged substantially less than what they wanted to if they'd managed it. Since then I call this company for drain related problems and for as many other plumbing issues as I can. They show up promptly and help me out at a reasonable price every time. Great company if you're looking to get away from the big chains and use a trustworthy local family owned business.

I had a major issue with my main sewer line backing up into the basement of my rental property, and after two different companies reported that the line was completely collapsed, I was ready to give up. The bids I received were so high that I considered walking away from the property altogether. Then I called Frado at Drain Surgeons Plumbing, and he completely turned my situation around. He came out quickly and cleared the line in about 30 minutes! To my relief, he discovered that the line was not actually collapsed. His honesty and expertise saved me from a costly and unnecessary repair. I am incredibly grateful for Frado's work and integrity. He could have easily gone along with what the other companies said to make a quick profit, but instead, he was upfront and knowledgeable. I will never use anyone else for plumbing needs again. II have used these guys more than once. They're nothing short of wonderful. Efficient honest and extremely good at their job. This last time it was for a leaking pipe. I thought they would scope out the work and then we would discuss their return once they got the parts. but they fixed it in less than half-hour. Then, surprisingly, my kitchen faucet and only my kitchen faucet stopped working. They returned and spent some time on the thing and concluded it was clogged and I would need a new one. But then, instead of leaving, they took a tiny plastic joiner apart and spr=nt close to half-hour pulling five tiny stones out of it! the faucet now works better than it has in years! I tried to pay them and they refused! They are my go-to guys! And best of all my dog loves them too!

We called around 10 plumbing companies to inquire what it would take to move our washer and dryer set up to the main floor of our home. We experienced a variety of customer service. Some plumbers had no idea what to do, others had outrageous pricing, and some never showed up. We called drain surgeons after numerous recommendations from friends and family. When Wilfredo came to view the home, he quickly came up with a plan and we knew he knew what he was doing. During the project they even ran into some issues with previous piping done incorrectly and they fixed it for us right away. I could not be happier that we went with drain surgeons services. Extremely courteous, neat, timely, knowledgeable and clean up after themselves. I would highly recommend to anybody no matter the job.

I almost skipped this company because of the lack of reviews and that would have been a mistake. Turns out he had experience with homes up my street and he was fondly greeted by some of my neighbors. I finally found a good plumber, Pete responded quickly to our request for a quote, which was reasonable and competitive in cost. He answers his phone and that is important when you need help. Very professional, respectful of my home and overall just good service. I highly recommend The Drain Surgeon (love the play on words) No hidden costs after repair and guaranteed his work. Hopefully we don't need service any time soon, but glad to know he will be there if we do!

Phenomenal plumber in the Allentown area! I had an emergency plumbing issue, called Fredo, and he came directly from another job, immediately after finishing up. Knowledgeable and educational for my future homeowner insight. Super personable and down to earth, not demeaning or cocky like other plumbers I’ve used. Job was done in 30 minutes from arrival to mobile payment. Professional service, fantastic response when absolutely needed, extremely fair price, no ridiculous up charges, and an all around pleasant experience. No need for any other plumber in my contact list, Fredo it is!

We had to call on Fredo after another company made a moldy mess of our kitchen sink. He was able to fix the problem within 10 minutes, whereas the other company had 5 guys out for many hours...to install a kitchen faucet! They never reattached the drain, wanted to change my plumbing but couldn't figure it out, and put in a shut-off valve that ended up leaking. Fredo tightened the pipes and replaced the shut-off valve that they cross-threaded for a reasonable price. I know who we will be calling for any future plumbing issues. Thanks, Fredo!

Two years ago, Pete came recommended to me by our home warranty company after our basement flooded with sewage. RotoRooter had recommended a $10K replacement of our main line, but Pete's team snaked it successfully and told me that I just needed to do that every 2 years. Well I called Pete again this morning and asked when he could do that routine maintenance again, and the answer was "how about this afternoon". His team arrived on time and was completely professional. Couldn't have asked for more.

Pete and his crew are great. He's unclogged multiple sewer lines for me and is always responsive, reliable, and fairly priced. Most recently I used him for a bigger sewer emergency that required excavation and he went above and beyond. Our insurance made us use other plumbers first who misdiagnosed the issue or gave us the runaround. When they finally agreed to use Pete, his crew came out ASAP and did a top-notch job in one day. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Just found these guys when I was looking to replace an old water heater that checked out after 10 years. And I have to say that I’m very pleased with the communication and service in how they performed the swap! Fredo and his team were very efficient and professional.. managing the entire thing within 48 hours and for a very fair price! Overall extremely pleased with the result and I would not hesitate to use them again for future projects.
