After dealing with a few crooked companies in Tampa, that price gouge and have hidden fees, I found Drain Flo. Dwayne is by far the most honest and reliable plumber in Tampa. He is a man of his word and does high quality, efficient work. He goes above and beyond to ensure you are satisfied with his work. I highly recommend Dwayne & his team of experts.

We had a plumbing emergency in the middle of the night on a Friday, and after calling nearly 20 other plumbers, I found Drain Flo. One phone call was all it took at nearly 1:30am for Dwayne came to our house. When he got here, he immediately went to work diagnosing the issue and working out a fix. The fix he proposed wasn’t an easy one. It required him to be uncomfortable and work in a tightly-cramped area (how our house was constructed made the repair nearly inaccessible). Instead of going with an expensive fix that required the removal and reinstallation of our water heater, Dwayne chose a repair that was less expensive and more physically demanding on him in order to help stay within my family’s budget. That’s the kind of man he is. Dwayne didn’t have to work out a creative and cost-effective solution for our family, but he did it because he’s a good man and runs his business in the most honest way you might imagine. I cannot speak highly enough of his service, demeanor, professionalism, work quality, and- most importantly for me- his moral compass. Dwayne has found himself a new customer and an evangelist for his business. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Thank you Dwayne.

I recently hired the plumbing company for a routine repair, and the experience was disappointing. Dwayne, the technician assigned to the job, was incredibly unprofessional. He arrived late without any explanation, seemed disinterested in the task at hand, and his workmanship left much to be desired. Overall, I would not recommend this company due to the lack of professionalism displayed by their staff.

This man sends his so called tech to evaluate a clogged toilet at my office, then gave me a verbal quote of 150$ if the toilet didn't have to be removed. His tech takes the toilet off and puts a large snake into a small drain in which it got stuck! They let it in the restroom unattended for days and final told me stool with no invoice that he had to bust up our floors to remove his tool. This was in February, it is now October and they still have not answered any call or came to put the restroom back as it was! Terrible owner and he is not professional at all!

I hired Drain Flo Plumbing, owned by Dwayne Taylor, during my hurricane home renovations after the company was recommended to me. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing and stressful during an already difficult time recovering from hurricane damage. Throughout the months long project, Dwayne was late to multiple appointments. On one occasion, after I called to follow up, he told me he had “completely forgotten” about the appointment. I was also uncomfortable that Dwayne discussed details and opinions about my home renovation project with two additional contractors, both of whom later referenced those conversations to me directly. I found this unprofessional and inappropriate. On the final day of service, Dwayne claimed he had completed “a lot of extra work” that was not included in the original agreement and stated that he “charges a lot of money” for the additional work requested. However, there was never a work order, estimate, or approval process provided for these additional services. As the homeowner, I was not given the opportunity to review costs, ask questions, or approve any extra charges before the work was completed. After finishing the job, Dwayne left abruptly, stating he had an emergency, without reviewing the completed work with me. Despite my concerns about the overall experience, I was fully prepared to pay the invoice because the work itself had been completed. Additionally, the kitchen sink handle was installed on the wrong side. When I politely followed up about correcting the issue, I received what I felt was an angry and threatening text message that included statements about taking me to court. Shortly afterward, I received notice that Drain Flo intended to file a claim against my property unless I paid the disputed balance along with significant additional fees within 14 days. At no point did I refuse payment, which made the escalation and threat of a lien feel unnecessary and deeply upsetting. After everything I experienced recovering from hurricane damage and nearly losing my home, this was one of the most traumatic business experiences I have ever had. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Drain Flo Plumbing.

My Grandma had a backed up sewer line on Friday afternoon. She was a mess, carpets were wet, water everywhere. We called 6 other plumbers, big names too, some didn't answer, others were not able to come until Saturday afternoon. Drain Flo was number 7 on the list, was greeted with a very friendly woman on the phone who apologized for the horrible situation . I told her what was happening and she said she could have someone here within the hour. Dwayne arrived shortly after, very nice guy, immediately knew what was wrong and explained what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. Up he went on to the roof, a few minutes later all water levels went down. He came in and checked that everything was flowing as it should and gave a 30 day no question warranty. Dwayne was very nice to my Grandma and set her mind at ease. Can't thank Dwayne and Drainflo enough. You guys are great!!

I’m so glad I called this company to come out to my place of business. I called them last night to send someone out to repair an issue I had and they sent someone the following day. They would have sent someone the same day but I told them not to only because we were closed. Everyone who I encountered during this time was very professional from scheduling my repair to repairing the problem. The guys who came out were very polite and knowledgeable in their field. They were able to find the problem in less than five minutes and had everything repaired in under an hour. I like how the owner of the company came out as well to make sure everything was going well. Their prices were not astronomically high which was also good. I would definitely recommend this company for any plumbing related work. They earned my business for any future plumbing work. I spoke to the owner Dwayne Taylor and he stated that he would send his Technician Jose back out to provide pictures or a recording of the scope the next day. Well today Jose called and was very rude and patronizing and hung up on me. I spoke to the owner Dwayne Taylor to let him know that I was going to dispute the charge because we did not get a report and he was loud and rude and stated they deal with people disputed their charges all of the time, which says a lot about this company. Do yourself a favor and never call this company for anything. The owner and technician are very rude and they lie to their customers. Very untrustworthy, please don’t use this company. Contact Dwayne after getting a referral from my condo association explain to him what my issue was that I had another company come out and what was the results. He was helpful and text me pictures of what the present Plumber should be using to clean out the pipes K 60 with a cone head. He says the other company started the job, he said go ahead and let them continue because I pay for it. Needless to say the company was never able to resolve my issue. Call back Dwayne. He gave me an immediate appointment. He came and resolved my problem very grateful plus a one year guarantee highly recommend this company that responsible and very knowledgeable.

Super nice, professional plumber. We were told by multiple plumbers that we needed our water heater replaced. Drain Flo's estimate was the lowest. My wife picked them, not because of that, but because they were the friendliest, and just seemed like good people. Their work was clean and efficient. Honestly, I couldn't believe how quietly they worked. I was watching the Rays in the World Series, and they were installing the heater in a connected room. I hardly knew they were there! And they followed up quickly when we had a minor issue after installation. We're keeping Drain Flo's number for the next time we need a plumber.

Called to snake kitchen drain. Was told I would be informed when they were on the way. Called when they arrived at the house. Told me it was 330 to snake drain. I told them the management company probably wouldn’t approve that amount but I would call them. He immediately got rude and hateful and said he wasn’t waiting around if they weren’t going to approve it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY. Rude and disrespectful and they’ve don’t do what they say. He said I’m not charging you an Afterhours fee however he was wanting to charge 330 for a simple kitchen drain snake. What a joke! Dwayne was the one who showed up

I had home in St Pete that had leak outside Dwayne and crew can out, found the leak and price to fix it was well below the 3 companies I called before him. Not only did they correct the problem he went into the house and found a major leak in the kitchen that we didn't know about. We moved to a bigger house in Tampa. Once again found some plumbing issues and once again called on Dwayne. Need for a plumber this is the company to call take care of all plumbing issues quick fast and reasonable prices. Drain-Flo way to go!!!

Dwayne with Drain Flo came out to my house to fixed a plumbing issue in my kitchen as well as my bathroom. He was easy to get ahold of to schedule the appointment and showed up on time. He was able to fix my issues in less than 2 hours. This is the second time I've called Drain Flo and worked with Dwayne and I've had a great experience both times. His prices were fair, he was very professional, and did a great job! I'd recommend them to my friends and family and will continue to use them for any future needs.
