Had a little. problem with my water heater Over the weekend my expansion tank had a hole in it and was leaking water I swapped the tank with a new one when I tried to turn on the pilot it would not start I ended up calling a plumber so he can try to get it fixed he ended up telling me I needed a new control module and the burner assembly and by the way He was gonna charge me over $500 to replace them I called the manufacturer and found out I still had it under warranty But one of the parts I needed was not gonna get here for two weeks so my wife and I thought that was too long of a wait I decided to get a few quotes on installing a new water heater b4 I I committed to the first plumber on installing a new tank I called a few #s and believe me when I say everybody wants to take you to the bank I ended up coming across Andrew from Drain Charmer on the Norwalk Facebook page he asked me about the problem I was having with my water heater walked me through on how I would say reset my water heater disconnected a couple of wires reconnected them and in about 5 minutes my water heater started working again I was pretty surprised that he would even attempt to help me out without. Me handing any money over to him I thanked him and had him come out and check if everything. Was ok with my water heater and ended charging me a very reasonable price i will definitely hold on to Andrews# hard to find a good honest plumber now And days everybody is trying to take advantage of you and upsell you on work u don’t need done
