Tech was very knowledgeable on my system and covered various options for me to go forward with to resolve the current issue. Prompt, courteous, and attentive. Still waiting for the bids I did pay for the video inspection of the sewer line. 200 bucks, which if I go with the bid, will come off the total repair.

Brian and Brandon called ahead and showed up on time. After explaining the problem they went right to work and resolved the issue within an hour. Brian explained the issue throughly and let me know some preventative measures and additional services. I’ve used Dr Drain before and always receive top notch service!

I contacted this company & spoke with Jordan, who was very personable on the phone. We had had our bathrooms gutted & renovated, & subsequently we were getting an intermittent sewer gas smell. Our builder had come out twice & was unable to identify a source, & he recommended a smoke test. Dr.Drain advertised this service, & when I spoke with Jordan, he explained the test, gave me a quote, & set up a time a few days later to come conduct the test. Never heard from him or anyone at his company again. After the appointment time came & went, I called & left a message asking if he was still planning to come that day, & I left my number. I left 3 more messages, requesting to know what the no call/no show issue was. That was 3 weeks ago. No follow up whatsoever.

Completely let me down. I requested service over a week ago starting exactly what day's I needed that service because I travel weekly for my job. Jordan said "yes, we can do it" 2 days before the scheduled day Jordan came back and put my service out by 2 days. Now I have so little chance to find another plumber. Thanks for your wonderful service!!!! Greedy and RUDE!!!!!!

I've been a loyal customer of Dr. Drain for almost a decade, but recently had a terrible experience. I was having countertops replaced, and the company required that a plumber unhook and re-hook the sinks. I had a couple leaky shower faucets and thought I would have it all addressed at once. The quote I received for these jobs was $1745 ($385 X 2 for shower valve cartridge replacement, $400 for bathroom faucet installation, $275 for kitchen faucet installation, $300 for disposal installation). This seemed really high to me so I contacted the owner (who used to be the one to do the work at my house, and I was very happy with him) to confirm the pricing. He said those were standard prices, but kindly said he would cover one of the jobs for me. The disconnect of the two sinks goes fast; we schedule the tech to come back to reconnect them and do the other jobs. 1. The date we schedule turns out to be a day they are not working so we reschedule. Wait all day and the tech never shows. Somehow the appointment disappeared due to a "glitch in the system;" they try to reschedule me for a week later, but I push for earlier and they send the tech the next day. 2. He reconnects the sinks and installs the disposal, but tells me the dishwasher discharge hose is too short so he had to do something handymen but not plumbers would do, that I should make sure to be home when I run the dishwasher, and that they can't be held liable if anything happens - but "it should be fine." 3. The tech works on the leak in the master bath but can't get the shower handle off. He needs to go get a new set of allen wrenches, so we have to schedule another time for him to return. 4. 4 days later, he fixes the leak in the other bathroom by replacing the cartridge, then is able to get the master shower faucet handle off. He fixes the leak just by cleaning off the parts, but then can't get the handle back on. He will need to get a new handle so will have to come back yet ANOTHER day. After he leaves, I realize he has forgotten to put in the new shower head I asked him to install. 5. The next day he installs the new shower head but then tells me the universal handle he got doesn't work. He will have to look around and see if he can find something, probably online while he is watching TV bc he can't spend hours driving around looking for one. I offer to look as well to try to expedite the process, but of course I have no idea what I'm looking for. We agree we will both look and stay in touch. Also, before he leaves, he asks if I still want to replace the cartridge in the master because if so, he will have to order it. At this point, I am so confused. If the plan the whole time was to replace the cartridge, shouldn’t he have ordered it already? Also, if he fixed the leak, why would the cartridge need to be replaced? I tell him no thanks. After he leaves, I discover that the new shower head that he installed is loose and spins when I take off the handheld piece. 6. I call the owner to discuss what is happening, as it feels ridiculous to me at this point. The tech has been to my house 4 times and the job (which I thought would be straight forward) is not complete. The owner is in support of the tech and says parts can be tricky to find, we might need to replace the valve which is expensive, and that I should be patient. 7. The next day, the tech leaves a voice mail saying he has called all of their suppliers, no one has the right shower handle, and I should call him back. 8. I am so frustrated that I call another plumber for a 2nd opinion. He reattaches the handle and tightens the new shower head in less than an hour, without needing any additional parts or special tools, for less than half the price. 9. I contact the owner to discontinue the job. He doesn't charge me for anything in the master bath and comps me $250. I appreciate the gesture, but the whole experience was such a disaster and so expensive that I won't be hiring them again.

I can't speak more highly of my experience with Jordan at Dr. Drain. My boiler quit working so we were without heat and hot water for several days with a cold snap coming. My boiler is 17 years old. The first two companies I had come out and take a look told me that it would be pricey to repair bc the parts are hard to find given this boiler is no longer being made, and because of it's age, they strongly recommended I invest in a brand new boiler system. The cost of doing so is incredibly high so I thought I'd get one more opinion. I had a friend tell me about Jordan and Dr. Drain as he had replaced her whole system 3-4 years ago and she spoke highly of Jordan. Not wanting to pay another weekend trip charge, I called Dr drain and left a message on Sunday saying I hoped someone could contact me on Monday and come to my house asap. Jordan actually called me back on Sunday to get a little information about the situation and my boiler and he said he'd come out on Monday. He did and incredibly, he said he thought the boiler was not only fixable, but that he thought with the proper replacement parts and maintenance it could last another 5-10 years! Now granted, that of course remains to be seen, but the immense relief I felt about a less than $1000 total repair bill to spending over $20k on a new system is almost immeasurable. Jordan was personable (he likes dogs so that's always a plus), direct, efficient and genuine. I am so very thankful for this experience and I will be using Dr. Drain for all of my future plumping etc. Issues going forward. Thank you Jordan.

I had a plugged kitchen sink drain and asked for a plumber to come out. His evaluation was that the sink was not plugged and that the septic tank was full creating the issue. He charged me $49 and left. Septic company said "that is how a septic tank is supposed to look like, full", there are no issues. Called Dr. Drain about the misdiagnosis and asked about how much it would be to snake the drain. They refused to give me any pricing over the phone even though all plumbers do. Leading me to feel uncertain of high prices. (Note the plumber did say in person that water snaking is around $360 an hour). I asked about a warranty as in the past I had a drain clog fixed but they just moved the plug further down and it got stuck again. Would they come back out and fix it if that happened? They said warranties are case by case basis and they cannot say. They also said they would not refund my $49 even though they made the error. Not sure why the reviews are so good as their pricing is high from the little they have told me. Did not diagnose my issue correctly and charged me for it. Do not offer a warranty like other plumbers. And do not give fair disclosure on their rates, hourly, snaking over the phone etc. I called Planet Plumbing and they fixed the issue in 30 minutes, charge $180 up to an hour of snaking, offer a 30 day warranty. I will work with them in the future!

I was referred to Dr. Drain by Save Home Heat. My drain issue was not an emergency, but on the morning I called, Jordan had a cancellation and was able to swing by. Not only did he fix the drain, he took the time to assess all of our plumbing. We had previous work done by Save Home Heat and our house renovation is rather new, so I didn't expect there would be any issues. It was so nice to have such a thorough assessment, which validated all of our plumbing was indeed working well. His pricing was very reasonable; in fact he discounted his service call since our drain issue didn't take much time. Jordan recommended replacing the rubber hoses on our washing machine to stainless steel. It was an excellent reminder that hoses need to replaced every 5 years especially if they are rubber. Jordan also gave us tips on other related issues (gutters and how to effectively maintain drains). He is truly a professional and I highly recommend him. Jordan is smart, friendly, and all about customer service. He went out of his way to explain things using photos on his phone for examples. His follow-up was equally impressive. Dr. Drain is someone you should have on speed dial!

I highly recommend Jordan from Dr. Drain! My husband and I just bought a new home and called our emergency number for our warranty early Saturday morning due to water and a smell in the basement. After our home warranty sent a cleanup crew and they had informed us it was a sewage issue and that the warranty would not cover or even call us a plumber we thought we would need to wait at least a day or two to get someone out, especially since it was late on a holiday weekend! After several calls and reading bad review upon bad review, we stumbled across Dr. Drain and he was our last hope. He asked all the right questions, gave us an estimate over the phone and was at our house in less than a half hour. Jordan was super professional and walked us through every step and even checked out our basement and other pipes to make sure there were no other serious issues. I would highly recommend and we will use Jordan again for any of our plumbing needs!!!!

Unusual business model. I had a clogged drain behind a drywall, and we jointly determined that the best access was by cutting through the drywall. Before he started cutting, he told me that this was going to cost at least $195. He found the problem after cutting 3 holes, by trial an error, a standard 3'' $15 pipe link was missing, something that can be installed in 5 minutes. He did not have the missing piece, but told me that for him to buy it and install it, the cost would be $695. This sounded too much like extortion to me, and I let him go after negotiating an on the spot final payment. Because his drywall cuts were done so quickly, and the drywall pieces broken off, it took us many hours to fix the damage that he left behind. In summary: sloppy work, extremely expensive, and pricing is not by the book. This business thrives on innocent people that find themselves in an awkward spot with their sewage line.

I own a small plumbing and HVAC outfit in Northern Colorado, and I used Jordan as a subcontractor to replace an underground water line for clients of mine in a mountain home outside of Lyons, CO (since I didn’t have the means to do so myself). My client was super happy, very appreciative and unceasing with praises to my company, so here I am: paying it forward to gentlemen who did the actual footwork. Thank you, Jordan; I will continue to use your company for all the big projects my company is not set up to perform - as Jordan and his team are honest, fair and hyper-conscientious with their attitudes and professionalism in front of my clients, and that (in my humble and lowly opinion😎) is worth more than mere money - in this day in age where everybody wants something for nothing.. Until next time Jordan, cheers to a job well done and in a timely manner with a price so fair - everybody’s a winner!!!

Jordan and his crew with Dr. Drain, just finished a large sewer job at out home in Boulder. Excavation and replacement of our driveway, pipe bursting a new HDPE pipe through our deteriorating clay sewer line to the house, replacement of a bellied section of the sewer line and lining of the balance of the line to the main made for event filled days. Everyone was kind, patient of all of our questions, and VERY communicative of when and how the job would get done. Jordan timed the job so we would not be left without access to water and sewer at the end of each day. Jordan's job quote was succinct and itemized and his pricing was very competitive. All work came with warranties. Jordan is a man of integrity; he bid the job fairly, completed the job in a timely and proficient manner and was kind and personable throughout it ALL. Thank you Jordan Spiegel and the entire Dr. Drain crew. Joe & Susan

In summary, I highly recommend Dr Drain and Jordan! We had a clogged drain from the kitchen sink that flooded the cabinet and leaked into the basement underneath. We also have 4 kids so we use the sink a lot. I called at 6:30AM and Jordan picked up on the 3rd ring. He said he woud be at our house at 10AM and he was there right at 10AM. He fixed the problem and then checked and double checked it to make sure it was truly solved. He also used a camera to insure the pipes were finally clean. Afterwards, he cleaned up completely. Before his car left our driveway, we had a receipt emailed to us. Plumbing issues suck however you look at it, but Jordan made the whole process easy and he explained evertything every step of the way. Highly recommended and I will definitely use him whenever I have a plumbing issue.

Jordan answered the phone and gave a quote quickly for a big job - replace 40' of corroded cast iron sewer pipe under the basement floor. He showed up on time with a good sized crew and all the equipment needed to excavate, replace, and re-concrete the sewer. Excellent work, good materials, focused and worked 11 hours straight to restore service. By comparison three other area plumbers (to remain un-named) had trouble piecing a quote together over a two week period. Jordan answers the phone, provides the very competitive quote, and manages the job...no leaving a message with someone in the 'office'. We've dealt with a number of plumbing companies while resolving this sewer issue the past 5 months, and Dr. Drain was the most professional, competitive, and focused. I highly recommend Dr. Drain.
