Doctor Drips Plumbing - Nashville

Dr. Drips has become my go-to plumber. Their fast reliable service combines with excellent skills to take care of their clients. I fortunately found Dr. Drips in recommendations on the Next Door site when a big box store fell through on the install of the dishwasher I had bought from them. Since then, I’ve called on Dr. Drips to replace a leaking, old galvanized pipe to an outdoor faucet, repair another leaking pipe, replace an old hot water heater, and service another hot water heater. Recently, I needed their services again to replace worn out, dripping, fixtures in a shower, and to replace the wax ring under a toilet. Continued positive results!

Doctor Drips is fantastic! We had an odor in our pipe system that another plumbing company couldn’t pinpoint or resolve. Jance came over and diagnosed it on the spot and knew exactly how to remedy the problem and completely resolved it. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and easy to communicate with. I will always call Doctor Drips going forward and would recommend them to anyone!

first entry: Contacted them through their website and was called within 15minutes to set up the appt. Tech was on site that day and the repair was minor/ easily handled. Price for diagnostics and repair were very fair! 3/18/25 entry- cannot figure out how to leave sep reviews, so will add on. Since first contact back in 2016, I have used Dr. Drips 20+ times for my primary house and rentals. Jance always responds quickly and has sensible options for all issues. His prices are WAY better than Lee company and Hiller. He uses a mix of automation and personal texts to communicate with me and my renters if needed. Super friendly and professional. I have used him to: install tankless hot water heater (Navien); fix leaks (pex, copper lines, sinks); fix water heaters (coil, flushes); fix toilets; replace water heaters; snake drain lines; and most recently repair a damaged sewer line (google fiber installed fiber THROUGH my sewer drain) which Google subcontractor then paid for. Dr. Drips is the best. Especially if you have rentals and need someone reliable and available to help with plumbing issues of all kinds, he's the guy to call! 7/3/25- update - had Dr Drips out to install a new kitchen faucet and separate pot filler. Our tech was very friendly and patient w our questions. Projects went well!!!

From my initial call to Doctor Drips, and to the very conclusion of service, Jance provided outstanding service. He removed our old water heater that had been installed in our attic and replaced it with a tankless water heater. Due to the configurations of our home, initially we were unable to get hot water in our kitchen sink. It was a couple of days before Thanksgiving and Jance had a full schedule and still managed to find time to come to our home the next day to fix the problem. As Jance was repairing the issue with our kitchen sink, he found a leak and fixed that, too. Jance was quick to respond, and was always thoughtful and caring in his responses. We have many more plumbing projects to do in our home and will look forward to continue working with Jance and The Doctor Drips team in the future. We cannot say enough good things about everyone at Doctor Drips — especially Ronnie and Wyatt. Working on a historic home built in 1920 requires experience, patience, and problem-solving skills, and they brought all of that and more. Ronnie was incredibly knowledgeable, punctual, and respectful of our home throughout our bathroom addition and bedroom renovation. The whole team took the challenging aspects of plumbing in an older house and navigated all of the quirks with confidence and care. What really stood out, though, was how kind and thoughtful they were — always friendly to our family (and our dog!) and meticulous in their work. It’s rare to find tradespeople who combine technical expertise with such a great attitude. We felt completely confident having them in our home and would recommend Doctor Drips without hesitation.

UPDATE: Dr. Drips has taken care of all of our plumbing needs since we moved here in Aug 2022. We are now selling the house and he just addressed the buyer's requests, so I can add to my prior recommendation with a longer term endorsement. Jance is responsive, professional, honest, just generally a good guy. We came to trust him completely and will miss him! Highly recommend. Jance, the owner, came on a Saturday to fix a small leak. Before he arrived, we realized an unrelated HVAC problem might need a plumber. Yep! Jance arrived on time, gave a clear explanation of the problem along with his plan of action. He was transparent about the price and worked quickly. He was neat, professional, and friendly. We did not expect to need, or find, a plumber so quickly (we moved here yesterday), but we’re glad to have found Dr. Drips.

This week we had a massive snow storm and our sink was stopped up. Janice, the owner, came out and proved why you pay for what you get. Not only was he thorough, he was informative, and even had to run to the store to get a part, with icy roads. Although he might be more expensive than some companies, he is a master plumber who proved that Doctor Drips is worth considering. Regarding our sink, he found the issue under the crawl space, which had previously been ignored by another company. Even though he performed extensive work for us (more than originally estimated) he charged us the quoted rate. I recommend this company for its integrity, workmanship, and all around great service.

Lucas came out and installed new bathroom faucets and a kitchen sink. He was absolutely incredible, personable, clean, courteous, the list goes on! He treated our home and the project as if it were his own and we couldn’t be more appreciative for the care and time he took to make sure the project was done right. He completed the installs in a timely manner, yet with care and attention, leaving the workspaces neat and better than he found them! Lucas himself was kind, friendly, and a delight, not to mention so communicative about the work he was doing. I would highly recommend Doctor Drips and Lucas for your next project!

From start to finish, he was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly courteous. He quickly provided a fair and clear quote, offered great recommendations, and showed up right on time. I called Jance out to my home to replace my leaking hose spigot. His inspection revealed the spigot had been improperly installed and would most likely burst annually, and thus need to be replaced annually. He not only replaced the spigot, but reinstalled the line so that it would not break annually, giving me a more permanent fix. Excellent integrity; I would have had no idea about the improper installation and could have been left with a constant need to replace the spigot. I highly recommend his services and he will be my first call for any future plumbing services!

Very pleased with this service! They were able to service our water heater in the same day I contacted them and Jance arrived during the allotted time slot and fixed the issue on the spot during that appointment. I really appreciate him also taking the time to walk us through what the issue was (with photos) so we understood the problem and what he did to fix it. That goes a long way in building customer confidence. Will definitely be using them again for any of our future needs!

I have used many different plumbing companies in Nashville over the years. Nothing comes close to my experience with Doctor Drips. They are on time, incredibly efficient, and work with the highest levels of proficiency. All at a reasonable price. They are my number one and only choice for future plumbing needs. I've used Doctor Drips multiple times for plumbing issues and they've always been fantastic to work with. They are true professionals: responsive, honest, affordable, and do great work! Most recently, Tom cleared a clogged drain at one of my rental properties, and was also kind enough to repair a leaky bathroom sink at no extra charge! I will absolutely continue to use Doctor Drips for my plumbing needs.
