Brandon did electrical work for us. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional, and did good work.
JD is awesome! He cleaned up nicer than it was before he got here and he gave lots of good advice, and was very pleasant to work with. I even had to stop him from doing our dirty dishes lol. They were able to come within 2 hrs of our HOA maintenance guy calling them and got the drain cleared in under an hour.
We had Mark service our AC unit today and he was amazing! Extremely professional and didn’t rush to make sure our ac was running properly. He also made sure to explain the root of the problem to us, which hasn’t been done in the past by another company. Super grateful he took the time to come out today and help us!
I needed my compressor replaced in my three door cooler. After one of the service guys came by to check out the job, he quoted me $1100 over the phone to replace the compressor. He did a good job, everything worked. When he wrote the bill, he added another $95.00 for a "diagnostic" fee. I'm a firm believer in doing what you say. If you say $1100, that's what i'll pay. The service guy and his partner were very, very rude to me and told me not to call them again because I didn't pay the extra charge. Beware of this company. They are not honest people. They also decided not to warranty the compressor and work they did. The warranty was supposed to be for a year :(
I rarely leave reviews. I do not know, how everyone else had 5 star left reviews. Two technician came on 8/8/2023. They came in my store 1:29PM and They found out what was problem 2:08pm(tooks 39min). They go back to my parking lot 2:10pm and they left 3:03pm. When they check my cooler, They did not know what was the problem first. They called someone to check the problems. The other technician is not technician. He was helper(he did not know anything). Than DNI charge me $772.50. They only found problems. I didn't even fix it. Does this make sense?(39 minutes of work). Avoid this company if you can
DNI heating & Cooling in Mead, CO. Came today and shut down 2 evaporative coolers. Their invoice charges for this service exceeded what I was led to expect. Upon setting the appointment the gentleman on the phone indicated I would get a discount for one cooler since I had two of them to shut down. After seeing the Invoice for the job there was no discount listed. The Tech then called the company and asked about it, but the discount was denied. I was also charged for a cover and shipping on the cover. Before install no one called to tell me the cost of the cover or that the shipping cost would be a third of the cost of the cover. I would have said no if they had. I called them back and requested a discount. They gave me the "coupon" discount which I didn't know existed until I went back into their website and saw it. However, I am disappointed with the company since I feel disadvantaged regarding the original invoice charges. There should never have been a charge for shipping, and it will remain in my mind and remind me to be more vigilant. Even through my disappointment I would still recommend this company on their service as the Technician did an excellent job. Also, in these trying times we are forced to live under, I would recommend DNI for acting immediately on my complaint and giving me the discount. Mary Foley
In the AC/HVAC service world, same day visits are virtually unheard of. I had reconciled myself to the idea of having several more sweaty days and nights (it’s a Friday) when I reached out today. Imagine my astonishment when DNI said they could take care of me same-day! From the moment Thomas and Jack arrived, they were the perfect blend of experts in their field and courteous gentlemen (they had their own booties on to protect my floors—more on that later). They introduced themselves and made me feel comfortable almost immediately. That’s really important to me, since it can be unnerving as a female to have strange repair men come in my home. It was readily apparent they were genuinely kind people. Within a few minutes of me describing the issue, they had already diagnosed where they needed to work, saving time and money. Unlike many service folk who wear booties, Jack and Thomas took them on and off each time they had to go in or outside. Also, they were very thorough checking to make sure the AC unit was actually fixed, and didn’t just “go through the motions”. Truly, in their interpersonal skills and professional knowledge, they exceeded my expectations and resolved the issues quickly and competently. I highly recommend DNI. Be sure to ask for Thomas and Jack!
I had a very bad experience working with these guys. It took them an entire summer to diagnose and repair the compressor I had bought from them and they had installed on one of my refrigerated beer tap trailers. This cost my small business $8,000 in parts and repairs plus several customer refunds. They took zero responsibility for the problems I experienced. When I questioned one of the owners about their continued misdiagnosis, I was treated very rudely and he fired me as a customer. He even threatened legal action if I didn't pay the full amount by the end of the week. All this after having worked with them for 3 years. Extremely high labor rates and over-inflated part pricing markups (I checked), and lots of nitpick charges. They even charge a $75 shipping fee for parts they have in inventory in their own warehouse, which is in the same small building as the shop and office. When I asked about that charge I was told "Well, we had to pay to have the part shipped here when we bought it." What? The people who work in the office and one of the field techs were nice and often helpful, but that is the only good thing I can think of to say. The owners of DNI Heating do not give a crap about their customer. You will be nothing more than a transaction to them.
We were so pleased with the expertise that Clayton Garza demonstrated when he serviced the 40+ year old boiler in our home last week in February 2024. We had been chasing a dripping noise in the house for weeks that seemed to be emanating from the roof and following down the flue piping to the boiler. We had ruled out a roof leak, and the latest theory was that there was problem with condensation in the boiler flue. We've had a hard time finding a service technician that is knowledgeable about boilers. Clayton did a thorough check of the issues we were having and the history of prior repairs done. Clayton talked to us about boiler systems while he worked. He and the other technician Juan made thorough investigation of the entire system. They ruled out condensation, made an adjustment to the flue piping to improve the ability to properly vent, and fixed the problem! We highly recommend D.N.I and Clayton Garza, hydronic heating system specialist, for the prompt, courteous service and most of all for the the successful outcome of the repairs. We know who to call in the future for our A/C and heating system solutions! Thank You! Margaret & Frank Sinkule!
I've been using DNI for years now to do annual equipment inspections. The Techs are experienced, professional, on- time, and communicate well, hence my 5-star rating. However, like most places, the cost of their 30-minute inspection just continues to climb. A few years ago, is was around $300/year for both inspections. My next check up will cost $230, so $460/year for both A/C and furnace. Aside from piece of mind, on an older, out-of-warranty HVAC system like mine, their inspection gives you a 10% discount on any needed repairs. So, I won't break even unless I have a repair that costs over $4600, which is something MAJOR (or more the longer it is and more services are done before a repair is needed). They have unfortunately priced themselves out of my market, so I will continue cleaning my own furnace, replacing my own filters, cleaning my own A/C compressor fins, and servicing my own steam humidifier, and forgo the biannual service checks.
Total rip-off! Unskilled technician misdiagnosed problem and replaced unbroken parts. When asked to put back the original part, he wouldn't then kept my old perfectly fine part. Said something else was wrong and said would order that part. A month later, no part, no call, no returns on call. Just keep getting bills. Charged close to $1000 for service call and repairing "nothing." Called three times and the owner did NOT return my call. Terrible communication skills and lacks professionalism. Just want your money for doing absolutely nothing. My appliance is still in the original broken state but with $1000 less money in my pocket. I paid like a good person would although I know I'm not obligated to pay for the "nothing," but figured these people are snakes and would most likely keep adding late fees etc and send creditors after me to ruin my 815 credit score. Totally not worth it. I'll just let karma bite them back. Shame on you!!!!
A scam of a company. I would not recommend it to anyone. Charged me an insane amount and didn't even fix the issue, due to insufficient diagnostics being performed and "assuming it would fix it," leading to additional "trip charges" to properly diagnose it, and then trying to charge over $4k on top of that to fix it. No care that the tech didn't previously diagnose the problem correctly, leading to incorrect charges that were not a part of the actual fixing of it.
Woke up the other day to find we had no hot water running. I figured the pilot light went out on our boiler and wasn't sure how to light it. I called DNI and they were able to send someone out the same day and within a window I could live with. They arrived found that it was a defective part and did a complete review of the boiler. They got in and out and left me very happy. Great folks there.
Steele came out to work on my furnace. He got right to work, but also took time to explain, the steps of what he was doing to troubleshoot the problem. Steele was kind, courteous, and respectful. Very professional. I hope I never have issues with my furnace again, but if so I would call and ask for him . Definitely recommend him to others.
D.N.I. Heating-Cooling-Refrigeration-Plumbing appears to be a reputable company with a strong reputation for providing quality services to its customers. While there may be some room for improvement in terms of communication and pricing transparency, the majority of customers seem to be satisfied with their experiences with the company.
