I compared prices for hot water heaters at several different stores/vendors. The one I got from Deschutes Plumbing was supposed to be the best at a price marginally above the lowest value heater. Also, their plumber who installed the heater in my garage during subfreezing weather arrived promptly, did the work in half the time expected, picked up everything, and was very nice.

Can’t say enough good things about Deschutes Plumbing. Our sewer pump went out on a Thursday night, and I called first thing Friday morning. They had someone at our place within the hour to assess the situation, got our reservoir pumped using their resources, and had a solid plan in place before 9 a.m. Their communication was outstanding the whole way—clear updates, quick responses, and you always knew exactly what was happening next. Even their technology/processes made everything feel smooth and organized from start to finish. They also immediately called around to find a replacement pump locally—none were available in town (not their fault)—so they had one overnighted and ready to install Monday morning. On Monday, they coordinated everything flawlessly with Abe’s Septic to get the reservoir re-pumped, then had a tech on site shortly after to swap the old pump for the new one in just a few hours. Their resources—and the partners they work with in town—are top-notch. Not to mention this was all right before Christmas. Fast, professional, and genuinely impressive service.
