What reviewers report — the concerns
Other directories bury these. We think you should read them before you call. Every concern below comes from the reviews it cites.
Red flag
Coercive sales tactics during inspections. One detailed 1-star review documents manager threatening inspection failure, demanding large unnecessary add-on fee ($975), becoming rude when questioned, refusing standard report, and hanging up—behavior confirmed as unnecessary when second plumber completed same inspection without jetting and passed township approval.

Pricing fairness concerns with documented aggressive upselling. One reviewer reports manager demanded $975 jetting fee as prerequisite for standard inspection on draining line, then refused normal inspection report and hung up when questioned.

Poor accessibility and unresponsive management. One reviewer describes manager as 'nearly impossible to get ahold of' during dispute over unnecessary fees.

The evidence — in reviewers' own words
Critical
“I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with this company was so bad and unprofessional that I feel obligated to warn others. I hired them for a standard sewer lateral inspection. The sewer was flowing with no backup, yet the manager(who was nearly impossible to get ahold of) insisted the inspection would automatically fail unless I added another fee of $975 for jetting first, even though jetting is NOT a required …”
Positive
“A client of mine who buying a home used them for a sewer lateral scope and they did a great job. I have had tons of rentals and worked with a lot of contractors and technicians. This was as quick and well-done as you could hope for. They identified a crack, were able to fully explain the three different materials on different stretches of the sewer line, and even marked the path it took out of the house.”
“I am very pleased by the excellent service received from Delco Storm & Sewer Services demonstrated by one of their plumbers, Jim. He completely resolved my clogged sewer line issue, thereby saving me thousands of dollars other well-known companies advised I would have to spend. Thanks again for doing such a splendid job.”
