Last week the second bathroom toilet decided to break. I called Dean Plumbing about 6 weeks ago for the guest bathroom. When I called, it wasn't an emergency. The lady who answered the phone said she would put me on the schedule. Dean, the owner, came out right away. He was the one that repaired my guest bathroom. He is very professional, courteous and dependable. The interior of the toilet tank was replaced and both toilets work well. The cost of using Dean Plumbing is in line with other local plumbers. I highly recommend Dean Plumbing. When your toilet breaks, he can fix it.

Office kept me updated on arrival time. Sent me photo of worker before he arrived for safety purposes. Got in. Got it done. Great experience.

Not Happy with bait and switch technique. They adjusted the water temperature which took 10 minutes and charged $79.00 which is a bit too much for work performed. It's not the technician's fault. It's the companies policy and pricing.

https://www.homeserve.com/en-us/blog/cost-guide/kitchen-sink-installation/ They charged me $1500 to install my kitchen sink. New construction. It took the guy about 3 hours and I has all the parts.

This happened to me 3 years ago, and I'll be danged if I let it go...ever! A Dean Plumbing service technician, Wes Shephard, came out to look at a possibly clogged condensate line on my air conditioner unit. Wes cut the line, past the trap, and claimed since some water was passing through the line that it was not clogged, and that I should have one of their air condition techs come back out to look at the AC unit. He was present for about 10 min and he charged me $94.25, even though he did not fix anything. Being that the unit was under warranty, I called my warranty provider, Alabama Climate Control, and they came out. Not seeing anything wrong with the unit, they rechecked the actual trap in the condensate line and discovered it actually WAS CLOGGED and they repaired the line, charging me $95 for the service call. So, in the end, despite the fact that I told the Dean Plumbing rep, not once, but twice, that I believed the line was clogged, he did not, thoroughly check the line, and he charged me $94.25...HAD he checked the entire line, I could have avoided the warranty call and the additional $95 spent to Alabama Climate Control. I believe Dean Plumbing's intent was to nickel and dime me and charge me an additional charge for having one of their AC reps come out, but, when this failed, they refused to issue a refund for improper and inferior service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They obviously do not value their customer relationship...to be such a small service issue, you would think they would just issue a refund, but they just kept offering unneeded future service when they should have just admitted being wrong and refunded my money. During submission to the BBB, this company also basically lied through their teeth about the facts of the service call, claiming I had them come to 2 different houses, claiming they responded to an after hours service call when, in fact, the guy was just 3 hours late for the appointment I made in advance, claiming they came out 3 different times (only 2), and claiming they completely took the line apart and flushed it, which they did not. This company is obviously ran by idiots...How in the world could they have an A+ rating is beyond me!

Sunday morning before leaving town for a funeral, one of us completed our shower and one had not. There was an unusually loud noise which I thought was coming from the kitchen. I discovered backups from the drains in two showers. A toilet overflowed and others would not flush. Called Dean plumbing and requested Ty Troupe to come out Monday morning since we were going out of town. Ty had installed my water heater a few years ago. Called again first thing Monday morning. They said Ty would arrive in an hour. Turned out to be less than an hour. He began troubleshooting the problem with his helper, Tyler. To make a long story short, they traced the problem deeper and deeper underground and found it to be a blocked sewer pipe. In this process, emergency line locators were called in to locate and mark underground pipes and lines. Randy arrived with an excavator and began digging in my front yard. Electrical line, main water line, and several sprinkler lines all came into play as Randy kept slowly digging deeper while Ty used his equipment to track down the exact point of problem. Ten feet down, the PVC sewer pipe coming from the house had separated from the steel pipe leading to sewer under the street. Summarizing, they fixed the problem with higher quality material than the original. They back-filled with gravel around the problem area (which was lacking in the original), and finished filling the ten-foot deep hole with soil. They checked to be sure everything was working properly and cleaned-up. I could not ask for better service at a time when all toilets, showers, and sinks in the house were not functioning. I highly recommend Ty, Tyler, Randy and Dean Plumbing.

Even though I ended up going with another company, I wish to compliment Dean Plumbing on their professional staff and estimate procedure. I was very impressed with how thoroughly and carefully they looked at the job, And took the time to explain what they would do. Their procedures for showing customers who their tech will be by emailing a picture, was helpful and reassuring. Their telephone intake staff was friendly and professional, and easy to work with. I also think their pricing was fair and well explained. My choice to go with another company was purely budget based. But again, I must compliment Dean Plumbing on their competitive pricing.

No show on two scheduled appointments wasting two of my days on this planet. First one was canceled on the day and hour of the appointment and the second one was rescheduled on the day of the appointment and then one-hour late because the technician got lost. Really? How about a GPS or a smart phone? By the way, he had been to our house twice before. Called to express my disappointment and Ashley told me "no problem". Nothing like I am sorry, how can we make this better, nothing but "no problem" click. Seems Dean Plumbing has too much work and no regard for their customers.

I continue to be impressed with Dean Plumbing. I came home late in the afternoon to discover that my upstairs hot water heater was leaking. Emily did a great job of working to get someone out to our home before the problem got worse. When Braxton could have easily called it a day and pushed my problem to the next day - he didn’t. He and Tyler willingly worked late to remove the old water heater. They returned the next day to install a new one and did a fantastic job!

The worst service and quality of work of any company I've ever used. Bought a top hot water heater brand at the recommendation of the technician and it lasted under 4 yrs. They replaced the unit under warranty however they wanted over $900 to reinstall the new one that was as a warranty replacement. I've spent thousands of dollars getting multiple things fixed and they've had to come out multiple times to fix the same thing. I don't recommend them.

Came home from vacation and found no water pressure in the house and the crawlspace flooded. Dean Plumbing responded quickly to an after hours call. The technician fixed the blown coupling so we could have water that same night and called Paul Davis Restoration who responded that night to begin the drying out process under the house. Second time we've used Dean Plumbing and would not hesitate to call them again when needed.

The communication was great. A person answered the phone, took my info and texted back quickly that she had a technician available soon. I received a text with the technician’s photo and experience prior to his arrival. He arrived when expected, was very professional, along with the help he called in, and got the job done quickly and at the price quoted. Dean’s Plumbing will be at the top of my list.

Overpriced over 400 dollars to replace two flushers in the toilets. Job only took 30 minutes I would have done it myself for 20 bucks but I work in Healthcare and cant be around my elderly mother. They should be ashamed and I hope will go out of business soon.
