DB's Plumbing and Drain®

We can’t speak highly enough of DB’s and particularly Aaron F. When we had a plumbing emergency late in the day, DB’s was the only company able to get someone out that evening. Aaron F. Came out early in the promised window, diagnosed our problem, and got us all set up. He was courteous, incredibly knowledgeable, and did a great job of communicating with us what our issue was and how to address it in the future. The next time we call a plumber, DB’s will be the first call…and we’ll ask for Aaron F.

I experienced the worst of the worst plumbing disaster you can imagine. I had sewage back up on multiple floors and it was a hazmat. Aaron from DB Cooper showed up and we worked as a team to rid the biohazard immediately and had the plumbing working again temporarily until they could get a crew out the very next day. Aaron wrote up the invoice and report which was extremely easy for my insurance to read and dispense insurance funds to pay for most services. Not only did Aaron resolve and repair the issue he recommended me to a phenomenal clean up crew (Semper Dry) who came immediately and resolved the aftermath. I couldn’t recommend DB Cooper more, and I have dealt with other local plumbers who were not anywhere as near as proficient as Aaron.

Marv J installed a pressure regulator valve which we did not have and main water shut off valve. It was a very small, tight space and he was able to do the work without cutting into the drywall. He also replaced an old hose bib shut off for the outside water spigot and repaired a section of bent piping in the ceiling. He did the work at a fair price and was very diligent and friendly. He also cleaned up the area after he completed the job. I would not hesitate to have him work on any other plumbing issues that we may have in the future.

I did not have a good experience with this company. They don’t charge for a service call but then charge a very high price to do the work, in my opinion. The technician was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. However, the price to do the work was very high to me. He was in the house for not more than an hour and fixed the pipe to my shower diverter that I improperly installed. Part of that hour included a delay b/c he needed to charge the battery for his tool, which is understandable due to the cold weather. I’m all about paying for quality work but the price seemed very high. They gave me a military discount which was nice of them but the price was still $350 for 1 hour of work (which required very few parts). I should have politely thanked them for their time and gotten a second quote from a different company. But, I was pressed for time and just had them do the work. I went with this company b/c they had an extremely high rating. I am providing this review so other customers are aware of potential challenges that they may face when requesting similar services.

I had a bad experience with them. I have intermittent sewer smell in my basement and bathroom right above. The plumber came and offered a smoke test for about $550. During the test he turned on the smoke machine and shot smoke into one of my basement cleanouts (I have 3). No smoke came out in the house anywhere and he told me that he is out of ideas but he can come back with a helper to do another smoke test from the roof for $850 this time. I told him I will consider it. I started educating myself on how these smoke tests are done after he left and found that he should have pressurized my system and done the test from a roof vent in the first place (I don’t have a yard cleanout). If system is not pressurized, the smoke will find the path of least resistance and will just exit out of roof vents, which is exactly what happened. I don’t know if he was inexperienced or did not feel like climbing onto my roof. I ended up buying smoke candles and did my own pressurized smoke test and lo and behold, I found the problem right away (whoever did work at the house before I bought it left an uncapped vent pipe just sitting in my wall cavity). Waste of $550 bucks as the test he did was useless and not correct.

We had just remodeled our bathroom and naturally, after turning the contractor grade water supply valves on and off under the sink ONE time, they started to leak badly. We reached out to DB’s Plumbing and Drain through Yelp and they responded back almost immediately. I was scheduled for an appointment within a few days, only because of my schedule. We got a two hour window on the day of our an appointment and Aaron showed within 15 minutes of that. Once in and introduced, he gave me a quick assessment of the issue, showed me the parts I’d need, and a quote. He had everything he needed and was done inside of 30 minutes. Aaron is AWESOME at his job and a true professional! UPDATE! After such great work the on the last call, we decided called DB’s Plumbing and Drain again to replace some leaking hose bibs. Once again, we had an amazing service call! Our plumber, Mike, was courteous, worked hard in the heat and did an amazing job! Upon arriving, he explained the job and the costs to us, showed us what he was going to do and after agreeing, went right to work! Once the job was completed, he explained again everything he had done, showed us a couple things we didn’t know and took some time to explain a little about the company. All in all, a great call! We definitely want Mike back on our next call! Thanks again for quick and clean service! You guys have made repeat customers out of us!

Update 4/18/26: Not only does everything below STILL remain true, i recently decided to hire them to do preventative maintenance rather than waiting for somwthing to break and again i got Marv who is amazing and informative. (Previous visit)Marv was nothing short of amazing, he was extremely intelligent about his profession. He was able to articulate things I was not a subject expert on and was even willing to show me key elements as he was diagnosing and repairing my problem. He is easily my permanent plumbing guy and I will ask for him specifically next time I need service on something.

John B. is very knowledgeable and especially when it comes to plumbing. Our hot water piping failed do to a builders issue with putting in water pipes (orange piping) that literally broke down causing holes and continuous leaking. He tried jackhammering my slab to find a good connection for new piping but the TOTAL builder piping was just too bad. He by himself replaced many, many yards of new piping through the walls in our home! I wish this on no one but John never gave up! His efforts were appreciated and I would definitely us DB’s Plumbing again.

Called them up to service a couple toilets. They responded in a few minutes and had a plumber (Peyton) come to my house that same afternoon. All compliments for Peyton. He is knowledgeable and can explain issues and different solutions in an easy-to-understand manner. Im a cheap bastard so paying almost $600 to install a new angle stop and changing out the guts in a toilet tank seemed a bit steep, but what he can do in an hour would take me all weekend. Overall, the company was super professional and I would use them again.

Plumbing Tech-Mike did a Clean and Professional job of replacing my water heater. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and his Craftmanship is Top Shelf. Thank you for doing the job the right way! The Technicians involved were very instrumental in getting my factory warranty approved quickly with State Select and getting the install done within 24 hrs. of equipment failure. This was a Labor only job with the Water Heater being provided by State under Warranty. All in All they did an Outstanding installation job.Thank you.

Marv J was my technician. He was very polite and extremely knowledgeable regarding my plumbing issue. He listened and then addressed all my issues and kept me well informed in the process. He is truly an asset to this company. Kudos to this company for the professionalism I encountered from the call to make the appointment , notifications of who would be providing the service, and sending messages to let me know they could come earlier than the scheduled appointment time. I will be using them again.

Duncan was outstanding! He fixed our toilet quickly and took the time to address several other issues while he was here. Friendly, professional, and completely straightforward—no fluff, just the facts. He also walked us through upcoming nationwide regulation changes that could impact future work and gave recommendations that saved us a significant amount of money. It’s rare to find someone this honest and reliable. We’ll absolutely call him again.

This company took my call and assigned someone to my home promptly. I was stressed and they were friendly over the phone. The plumber that came to my home, Michael, was amazing. He was kind and courteous. He explained everything thoroughly and was patient with my questions. He was very professional and his work is neat and thorough. I highly recommend Michael from DB’s Plumbing & Drain!

Bobby N & John B did a great job in taking care of our plumbing issue. When what we thought was initially clog turned out to be a sewer line issue, they were able to quickly give us a fair estimate and come back out the same week to get it handled. They also took the time to show us and explain the issues we were experiencing. Would highly recommend DB’s for your plumbing needs.
