Daniel was great! The day before Christmas Eve this year we suddenly had a leak coming through our living room ceiling. I googled plumbers in the Broomfield area and ended up calling Daniel and Donna plumbing due to the reviews I saw. Daniel ended up calling me back within about 15 minutes, and was at my house within a half an hour from then. He quickly helped diagnose and locate the pinhole leak in the pipe in our ceiling. Had it fixed within about 10 minutes of finding it. Pricing was very fair, especially considering the emergency situation and how quickly he came. Can’t recommend this company enough. Nick and Daniel make an absolute fantastic team and I could not be happier with their work! I highly recommend them for any plumbing job you might have...I know I will be calling them again since I am in a 65 year old house with lots of original parts. Thank you both for your outstanding work!

Edit: this plumbing company failed to fulfill its obligations when installing a tankless water heater. They refused to fix their mistake and bring their work up to code. We will never use them again. We made the mistake of putting raw green bean clippings down our disposal at our new house, causing a backup in our kitchen sink right after dinner. These guys showed up the next morning, found the clog in a horizontal pipe running under the kitchen and were able to snake it out. Not only did they get the job done well without charging us an arm and a leg, but they patiently answered all the questions my two curious little boys had and chatted with them the whole time. So friendly, great work, expert knowledge. Highly recommend and we’ll be calling them again if the need arises!

Make sure you get direct cost estimates and agreements upfront. They will act all nice and charge you what they think they can get out of you. We had a leaking mani block… he turned a screw 12 minutes in and it stopped leaking. $299 because he said he ‘touched the equipment’ and had to charge me. Clearly not concerned with repeat business. I wish I read into the reviews more deeply. Based on other reviews on Google, he will likely respond to this review and say he has never been here or some other misinformation to negate the review. I am hoping this small review helps at least one person not get ripped off like I did.

Unless you have a thing for highway robbery and paying THREE times the generally accepted rate for a third-rate job, do NOT call Daniel & Donna Plumbing Services. Daniel is a mansplaining crook who duped this single mom into paying $4404 to replace two sump pumps and a toilet valve. I don't know that the pumps actually needed to be replaced or whether he replaced them with second-hand failing equipment but I do know that he is an incompetent racketeer whose shoddy workmanship failed in under a year. I called him to make it right and he gave me the the blame-shifting run around for 3 weeks. (As evidenced by his responses to negative social media reviews, he is indeed an expert at that). He tried to evade responsibility by claiming I had electrical issues. I put him in touch with my licensed journeyman electrician and after Daniel spoke with him, he called me to say that the electrician doesn't know what he is talking about. He tried to blame me for not following his recommendation to re-route sump pump discharge water through my in-home piping; which is incidentally illegal in Broomfield County. He then had the audacity, after pocketing $1950 per hour in labor the first time around, to tell me there will be labor costs involved with inspecting, replacing or repairing the pump. I asked for a written estimate of said labor charges and never heard back. I hired a competent plumber to fix Daniel's failed install. It was $455 in labor and $250 for the pump. Had Daniel not objectively failed, I never would have known parts were under $300; that's on me. If I did, I wouldn't have paid what amounts to $1950 PER HOUR for the dis-service Daniel & Donnas Plumbing "Service." My experience is sad but well documented and no joke. Do not let these people in your home. You will lose. Daniel is a smooth-talking master plumber/manipulator. I can almost guarantee his comment to this review will deny all liability, and fail to take any responsibility. May that also be a red flag warning to anyone in the market for a plumber, at any time, for anything.

We recently contacted this company because one of our two tankless water heaters was showing an error code. When we called, we explained the issue in detail and scheduled an appointment. Two technicians—who are part of this family-run business—came out. They were polite when they arrived and explained the pricing for flushing both units. The price was higher than expected, but we agreed to it. They then left to pick up the solution needed for the flush, which took over an hour. When they returned and began the flushing process, the experience started to feel unprofessional. After flushing the first unit, one of the technicians brought up the debris trap and made a big show of how “nasty” it looked, almost as if speaking to a child. When they flushed the second unit, the other technician did the same thing—this time pointing out a bug inside—again in a way that felt gimmicky and unnecessary rather than informative. As for the actual issue we called about—the error code—they ultimately told us they weren’t qualified to diagnose or fix it. At one point they said it appeared to be working, then later it wasn’t, and by the time they left the error code was still showing. This was disappointing because this information should have been communicated upfront, especially during the initial phone call. Had we known they weren’t able to service error codes on these units, we would not have proceeded with a costly flush that didn’t address the problem. Overall, the technicians were polite, but the visit felt like a waste of time and money. The way they handled the inspection felt unprofessional, and the main issue remains unresolved. Clear communication and transparency would have made a significant difference.

I am glad that I called Daniel & Donna. Daniel and Nick showed up and it felt like they were my family. Both were incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the process to me, ensuring I understood what needed to be done and why. Someone recommended extra services be done and we discussed this with Daniel. He explained why it was not needed and it was just another way for companies to charge extra money. I appreciate that he was looking out for our best interest and not just trying to charge extra money. They ended up replacing a faucet in our bathroom, they were efficient and meticulous. Daniel and Nick worked seamlessly together, demonstrating great teamwork and a deep knowledge of plumbing. Not only did they replace the faucet, but they also checked to make sure there were no additional issues and cleaned up thoroughly after the job was completed. It's clear that they take pride in their work and genuinely care about their customers. The new faucet works perfectly, and I am confident that it will last for years to come thanks to their quality workmanship. I highly recommend Daniel & Donna Plumbing Services to anyone in need of plumbing services. Supporting a local, family-owned business has never felt so rewarding. I've hired 4 different plumbing companies now for various jobs, looking for one that I'd want to work with again. My criteria for that is simple: I don't want someone that hated their job and was looking to gouge me for additional work. I'm definitely not averse to paying for skill, but I had one of those companies tell me adding a turn valve on a line (that they were working on) was 700$ extra. So when we had some water leakage from our top floor guest bathroom to the main floor from a source that I couldn't easily determine, we called Daniel for a non-emergency call out. After playing scheduling tag for a few days (because it wasn't an emergency and we didn't care when he came out), he showed up on time and ready to go. He's friendly and came in with a plan A, plan B, and plan C. Luckily we only needed plan A which was not destructive. He fixed the issue without trying to up sell me on things I didn't need, charged a reasonable rate, and that was that. After going through what is now our 5th plumbing company, this is the one we'll call back in the future.

I called Daniel first thing in the morning, and he and his son came over about an hour after I spoke with him. They promptly identified and fixed the issue with efficiency and professionalism, which I greatly appreciated, as I was up front about the fact that I knew nothing about plumbing or what the fix might cost. It is obvious they run their business with integrity and honesty, as they worked quickly and did not try to add on additional charges or tell me there were other problems that would require more work unnecessarily. They were also kind, friendly, and took the time to show me where the problem was and explain everything that they believed happened to cause the leak and what they were going to do to fix it. I was grateful for their willingness to go above and beyond in making sure they checked everything to ensure no potential issues were left unaddressed prior to leaving. Thank you, Daniel and Daniel, for all your help, and we will definitely reach out to you if we have any future plumbing problems!

Daniel is a scam artist. A $400-500 verbal bid suddenly turned into a $5000+ bill without any communication along the way regarding additional costs nor any itemization. Daniel couldn't even tell me the cost of the water heater itself when he handed me the bill. How can you possibly bill someone for a water heater replacement without knowing how much the water heater costs?? Daniel then proceeded to try to gaslight me for days on end arguing his initial bid was always $5000. Any sane person would never agree to proceed with work on a bid so absurdly high. One day he doesn't have an hourly rate, the next day he does, the next day he doesn't. One day he's not charging me for additional labor, the next day he is. For what it's worth, the water heater does work but this experience was a nightmare.

Daniel & Donna's Plumping Service, or Daniel & Daniel's Plumbing Service - as his son would call it, just finished up a job for me out in Wash Park! They communicated clearly, showed up on time. Finished quick while also teaching, and had a great experience. I have two dogs at home and tho they were barking up a storm because of stranger danger, Daniel and his son are dog people! So they were very friendly and everyone got pets once the job was finished. It's now COVID times and they showed up in a mask with gloves and were sure to clean up everything after they helped fix my garbage disposal! Definitely recommend this family owned business, we discussed football and dogs - what else can you ask for! Thanks guys!

Second time we have called on Daniel & Donna's services and again we were blown away with the service, value, and response time. Daniel showed up prompt and ready to go-- also called with an ETA update when there was a slight delay out of his control. Great attitude and very personable. Fixed everything we asked for and went above and beyond as he identified a couple extra things that could be improved. Overall, very satisfied with the service and honesty. We had a water pressure issue that had not been pinned down until this visit that could have saved us big money in the past. Very happy with the service and will call on Daniel for all plumbing issues going forward. 100% Satisfied customer!

Took apart and threw away a critical fixture for a new kitchen faucet. He did not recognize he had done this and owner had to find the part in the trash after going to store to replace the fixture. Had his inexperienced children install the faucet and never checked their work ... owner had to complete installation the next day because it didn't function properly. Replaced an unnecessary part to shower handle and charged almost $900 for three tasks: unclogging a kitchen sink, installing a new kitchen faucet (improperly) and cleaning out shower head and handle. Very disruptive, noisy and unprofessional. We felt overcharged and plumbing issues were not addressed correctly.

It is hard to find service providers not owed by private equity or are a huge company, so I was pleased to discover Daniel and Donna’s plumbing near me. Daniel’s son Daniel was able to come out the next day to fix my washer shut off value, which turned out to be a lot more involved than I originally thought. Daniel was able to promptly and thoroughly fix the issue. After fixing our washer shut off valve, he went around testing all our faucets and toilets. One of our faucets had been running very weak and he even fixed that at no charge when he discovered it. Overall, very happy with the high quality service and the rates being charged are very reasonable as compared.
