Very professional! Great prices. Educated homeowner on exact problem. Showed up on time! Really nice guys came out today! I needed last minute service and they showed up! Thank you so much! Will definitely use this company again!
Brian was our plumber technician. He was efficient and knowledgable. He completed the job and cleaned up everything and explained the reasons and workings of all repairs. We highly recommend Daniel Brown plumbing
I had a great experience with this plumbing company. Josh and their team responded very quickly, and their communication was outstanding from the start. They were helpful right away and even offered support and possible solutions before coming out, which I really appreciated. Bryan was who came out, and he was excellent ! Very professional, respectful, and clearly knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything and made sure I understood what was going on, which made the whole process much less stressful. I’m very thankful for the help and would absolutely recommend Bryan and this company to anyone needing plumbing work.
COVID SCAMMER CHARGED $572.00 FOR A $140.00 JOB AT $150.00 PER HOUR For a $5.86 bronze toilet flush handle to be screwed on (they bought at Home Depot, the very cheapest available) and a $3.25 wax ring to be placed under the toilet. The kid also flushed out some buildup in the sink faucet's screen... It took him over 3 hours, with 40 minutes in his truck, and he removed some of the working perfectly toilet tank mechanics (before) leaving it damaged and leaking now. He left bragging about the high tech replacement. Dan Brown kept saying he was coming, he apparently incompetent, and finally showed up after over 2 weeks sending some kid...
I called Daniel Brown Plumbing for several rooms - some with clogs, some with leaks, some with loose faucets, etc. They sent out a technician - Brian within an hour of me calling saying there is a no-cost quote. The technician quoted me a price, I agreed to the price and he immediately began doing the work. He had to come back a second day due to the several problems that I had with my plumbing. I wasn't charged a single penny until the job was done and I was satisfied with the work done. He is a young guy who is incredibly respectful. I know he was frustrated with my standards of fixing the issue so I don't need to call back or call another company, but he remained completely respectful even after being covered in nasty clog drain water (thankfully not toilet output, but still very nasty either way). I respect him being so young and having so much respect and work ethic for his job. I have to replace my toilet soon and he even hoped to be sent out to do that because he seems to find satisfaction in fixing issues and making the customer happy. No one wants to pay to fix issues that happen in their homes, but when I get technicians like Brian, it makes it a better experience. I hope he keeps up his work ethic and doesn't become one of those old guys who give up and say you need to replace it, of all my issues I only had to replace two things and even then only one of those things is a complete replacement due to my decision. He offered to quote me a price to fix it, but I opted to get a price quote to replace it instead as I knew it wasn't standard equipment and I wanted something more common. Thank you Brian, I will request your services again for my toilet replacement and you have earned you and your company a new customer who will continue to use your services. I never want to use those services as they cost me money, but you make that process less painful by what I said above. - Joseph
We have been using Daniel's Plumbing for the last 25 years. Are most recent call was to have a freestanding bathtub installed along with a vanity and top and toilet reset. When I called the office I spoke with Josh who was very polite and very attentive to what our needs was and what we were asking, Josh I would like to say thank you to you . The estimators that came out were very courteous, thoughtful and nice, as well as respectful of our property. The plumbers that came out and did the work Ted and Charles we're not only knowledgeable and professional as well they were courteous and understanding of our needs in the house. We wanted the work done if possible before Thanksgiving and Ted and Charles made sure that happened. The freestanding tub along with the vanity base and top and toilet look amazing they did a fantastic job, cleaned everything up when they were finished it looked so nice. We would highly recommend Daniel's Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing services in the future, not only are they fare on their price their professionalism and knowledgeable staff and plumbers can take care of any of your needs. We will certainly be using them in the future for any of our future needs. To the owners of Daniel's Plumbing thank you for having such knowledgeable and caring employees who have the talent that they do. Ted and Charles went out of their way to make sure that my wife was happy with everything. To have employees like Ted and Charles the plumbers that came out with your company. I can see why you all are five star across the board on all the review sites. Again thank you for the wonderful work that you all did.
My rule with trades people has been "If they are on TV, don't hire them." I have had more plumber problems (not to be confused with plumbing problems) than any other trade. So, who do you call when your plumber is broken? Daniel Brown Plumbing! They were on time and they do not have hidden fees. Their fee is $155 per hour as I write this and they were gone in less than 2 hours. They unclogged 2 drains: one took 15 seconds to unclog, the other was a bigger issue in the tub. They took the time to educate me on how to prevent the clog in the future and recommended using drain cleaners that have a biological component (unlike Draino, which can harm pipes). The two plumbers who arrived were named Joey and Adrian. Both were very professional, friendly, and they did not dilly dally. They wore masks the whole time, which I do value as I am immunocompromised. They also did not have to be asked to put on the mask and they did not 'wait and see' if I were wearing one first. After the job was finished, Joey spent 15 minutes wiping down everything with disinfecting wipes to leave everything clean. I told both Joey and Adrian I generally hate plumbers because I have had so much trouble finding good ones. Pretty much all the TV plumbers are horrendous and a few others I tried were just terrible. But, Daniel Brown Plumbing is excellent. I highly recommend them.
We found Daniel's company via Yelp and had bookmarked the account for when we needed a local plumber. Keep in mind you may need to leave a message or wait a few days to have a job seen and quoted; however, if you have time, I recommend you hold tight for Daniel and his team. Rick was the person assigned to visit us. He arrived on time and was able to check out our plumbing challenge with new bathtub hardware. We'd been advised to have our new hardware available (great advice) so Rick was able to quote the job immediately and complete the job. I especially appreciated Rick's attention to detail. The new tub hot/cold handles didn't quite fit to his standards and he wanted to point out a slight wobble. I walked upstairs with him, turned the handle on and off and still didn't see what his expert eye did. He assured me there wasn't a concern about leakage, only the look or feel. All good! We paid by check which gave us a slight discount. Credit cards are accepted as well.
My wife and I knew Daniel's parents about 45 years ago, and they told us about his plumbing service soon after we met. We have used his company since then--because we live in an old house, those services have been necessary more often than we might prefer--and we have been pleased with every job and with all the plumbers from his staff. We were anxious when Daniel retired that the quality of the staff and the excellent service might decline, but that has not been the case. Brian Kavanaugh came last week to fix a leaky kitchen sink and to scope our sewer line (a preventative measure, as recommended by Daniel). A recent addition to the staff, he did a fine job, was clear and frank about the problem and the solution he intended, and was affable and courteous besides. All to the good for us, and we continue to appreciate Daniel Brown Plumbing Service so much that we recommend it to any friend who needs reliable plumbing work.
We’ve been using Daniel Brown Plumbing for several years now, and they just keep delivering. Most recently, we had a leak coming from an upstairs shower — not exactly a fun situation. Their team came out to take a look, and even though they didn’t have the part on hand that day (a Thursday), they texted first thing Friday morning to say they had it and could come fix it immediately. Super quick turnaround. What really stands out with these guys is how straightforward they are — they walked us through exactly what was going on, laid out the cost upfront, and explained what the fix would involve. No guessing, no surprises. The repair itself was done quickly, and we were back to normal before we knew it. One small suggestion: it’d be helpful to know the service visit fee when booking an appointment. Minor thing overall though. We’ll absolutely be calling Daniel Brown Plumbing again.
This plumbing company gets it! I would rate them 10 stars if i could! From the moment I got on the phone to explain my issue i was treated with respect and understanding. Dan listened to my issues, he even asked for pictures so he could give me his best estimate over the phone (instead of wasting time with an additional consult). This morning Adrien called about 30 minutes out, arrived on time and completed the job in about an hour. He had covers over his shoes and left my bathroom clean afterward. He took time to listen which I appreciate most of all! The estimate i was provided was exactly what I was charged, which was an amazing price! I am so happy i found these reviews on yelp and decided to go with Dan Brown Plumbing, if you're in the Louisville area and don't know where to start, THIS IS THE COMPANY YOU SHOULD USE!
My old 80-gallon water heater failed (bad leak) in the wee hours of the night. About 8AM I called Brown Plumbing and told them I needed a new 50-gallon water heater. Within minutes of that call, I was contacted by Curtis, one of their plumbers; he said he had the new water heater on his truck and would arrive in a few minutes. Curtis called up a couple of other guys to help remove the old 80-gal. heater which was much larger & heavier than the new heater. He finished the job in a professional manner. I was quite impressed, and very thankful, that Brown Plumbing was able to address my "emergency" so quickly and professionally. If I need a plumber again, I will call Daniel Brown Plumbing without hesitation.
I had a new washer installed by one of the big box stores and after the installation I discovered one of the very old water input valves was leaking. It was dripping even in the off position. I called Daniel Brown Plumbing and they said they would have someone out the next afternoon but would try to get creative with their schedule so they could get here earlier. I received a call at 8:30 the next morning and was told a plumber could be here within the hour. The gentleman was friendly, safe, efficient, and did an excellent job. I've dealt with Daniel Brown Plumbing in the past when that did some work at my dad's house. Their customer service and communication skills are just as top notch as their work.
I went to send a big shout out to Daniel Brown Plumbing. I HAD a persistent drain clog in a secondary drain-line under my house. I texted their number this past Sunday and got an immediate response, saying a crew would be out Monday morning. Andrew and Nick got to my house by 9:00 AM. It was a very complicated problem. They called in Superman Rick to help assess the problem. Ended up, I had a broken cast iron pipe under the concrete slab. They did some bobbing and weaving and re-routed two drain lines to a different pipe. Done by 4:00. Amazing job and I got a great price. Can’t say enough about the guys. Please give them a consideration if you need help with plumbing problems. You won’t be unhappy.
I moved into a new home and found out that the water heater was not functioning. I called around for plumbing services to try to get someone out to my house ASAP, and Daniel Brown Plumbing was the only one who was able to come right away on the same day. The technician came and fixed the water heater right away! Not only that, it ended up being such a simple fix that they didn't charge me anything! I would have expected that I would be charged for some kind of a service charge just for the technician coming out to my house. Very fast and reliable service. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for plumbing services!
