Our tub and toilet were not draining in the only bathroom we had. We had company staying with us and were panicking trying to find a same day plumber to come fix our drains. They were out within 2 hours of the call and had it fixed in less than 20 minutes. They are very kind people and knowledgeable about what they do. We will be keeping them in our back pocket for the next plumbing issue we have.
I called to get an appointment for a kitchen sink installation and some updates done to some pipes under the sink. They were able to get us worked into their schedule fairly quickly and never once hesitated when the job ended up being a lot more than anticipated (we have an older house with kind of rough plumbing). Dustin was able to get all the pipes and fixtures up to date and the sink installed even while having to make changes due to unforeseen issues. They are very quick to communicate and kept us involved with every step. Will definitely use again!
We were experiencing a bad clog in our bathroom which resulted in water coming up in the shower when the bathroom sink would run and the water was draining VERY slowly. We tried snaking ourselves and used Liquid Drano MAX w/ boiling water flush to no avail. I finally gave in and decided to call a plumber. I usually let Google reviews guide me to the right professionals and chose D and D Drain because of their stellar Google review score and affordability/honesty seemed to be common themes within their reviews, two qualities that mean the most to me when having someone work on my house. Robert was literally at my house within an hour of making the call and had the clog gone an hour after that - for an affordable price to boot! He was kind and courteous and did a great job cleaning up afterward. Will definitely be using D and D again for any future plumbing needs!
Does not know how to pour concrete. Price was quoted at $1200-$1500 to fix the crooked pipe and replace the cast iron flange that we had already cut off, we paid close to $2000 for them to bust up our concrete and add a PVC attachment and flange. Pipe is still crooked and now the left side of where the toilet should sit is a half an inch higher than our original foundation and the front of it is about a quarter inch lower than the original foundation area. They offered to come out for free if we had issues, but what can we expect from someone who doesn't understand how to use a level. Pictures include the starting point, which is the circler and the end result which has the level on it. The blacked floor is the original foundation level.
We called D and D drain in need of installing a waterline for our fridge. We've been in the house for almost a year and had bought a fridge for the house not realizing we didn't have a waterline/faucet for the fridge to connect to. Upon calling they seemed very professional, upfront and communicated well on got me on the schedule. Even offered to come out and take a look at what I needed installed at no charge. Some places were charging $80 just to get an estimate. The plumbing was installed and is running fine. My issues began when they left my house and left the box for the line connection behind my fridge looking as pictured in the photo. I reached out to them explaining my concern and that this so far was my only issue with our experience. I was greeted with responses of "we don't do drywall work" "we don't trust anyone to outsource and pay for it to be done." As the conversation took place I voiced my concern as I felt this was left undone and didn't look professionally installed. I had worked in trim carpentry for a couple years and when mistakes were made we fixed them. Didn't just leave them for the customer to foot more money to have someone else repair them. I'm unsatisfied with how this situation was treated after the fact. Communication with them has been timely but the issue is left unresolved. Will not be using them again. And honestly surprised I'm not seeing more bad reviews. Hopefully they aren't deleting them to maintain face.
This company has the positive of offering a 24/7 service. That being said, a 4pm toilet repair call was scheduled the following day with an arrival time of 10-11am. Later in the evening the technician called and asked for the appointment to be rescheduled from 11-noon. No problem. The following day the technicians arrived at nearly 12:45pm. After a quick inspection they went out to retrieve parts. At 2:15pm they returned with $30 worth of parts and asked for $375. The initial estimate was $200-$300. Work took about 30 minutes. After they left I checked the toilet and it still wasn't working properly. I had to do some minor adjustments and all was fine. I would've done it myself but I recently almost lost a finger in a home service work related accident. I broke and lacerated a finger and continued to finish 20 minutes of work fixing a garage door. These guys couldn't properly fix a toilet for a decent price. After calling the owner of the company I was fed excuses about stores being out of parts (which may be true) and that parts are very expensive, which I understand. My review is about how unprofessional the call was taken, service was completed, and how complaints were handled. In the end I was overcharged for what I got. I do not recommend this company. Edit: I want to additionally add after seeing the owner's response that I did call after the job was done to express my discontent. I tried to be civil and explain the situation. He asked if he wanted me to send the technicians back after they were 20-30 minutes from my house. The adjustments were minor, just without them the toilet wouldn't flush properly. Dustin asked me to call if I had anything wrong and I responded "this is that phone call" to which he replied, if anything else is wrong to give them a call. He did not initiate any concern to address the problem in the moment. Seems like a good ol boy.
The Company is a joke! The owner Huband by the name of Destin. Showed up late and under the influence! I asked several times for an itemized estimate before the work is preformed. He just kept saying he isn’t going to know til he gets in there. I stated several times that I am the tenant and I am going to need the authorization from the Landlord as soon as he knows how. The intoxicated plumber decided to complete the work without authorization, then decides to stick us with a bill that has no itemization of what we are even be in charge for. Asking the gentleman questions was so hard as he was so intoxicated the communication was as if we were talking to different languages. He runs to Lowe’s and comes back. Had hit a mailbox and his van was dead in the middle of the road. I a 5’3 woman pushed his van out of the road and into an area where it wouldn’t get hit by anything else are caused an inconvenience to my neighbors….as he sat in the driver seat why I pushed his van. I am not the one to write very many reviews and especially bad ones, but if I can prevent this happening to another family. I think it’s worth it.
When I was looking for a plumbing service to get services on my home done, I stumbled upon D and D Drain. At first glance they have extremely high reviews with a 4.7 rating (at time of writing this response) but I never go to a place without looking at the 1 star reviews first. First off, I HIGHLY recommend that you do that when looking at this business. They clearly are capable of doing their jobs as reported by the 5 star reviews but when they mess up is when there is the main issue. They respond back to every 1 star review with the professionalism and grammar of a middle school boy. They attack their customers in a way that clearly shows that they feel as if they are never in the wrong. Being able to provide the services that you state is not all that is required to run a business. You also need professionalism, honesty, and trust. Based off of just these reviews alone I would not hire them for work as you may end up being bashed and left unsatisfied. This business needs to learn that apologizing and asking how to make things better can get you a long way and will get you repeat customers.
Today I used this company to do a simple faucet cartridge removal and replacement. He was just supposed to give me a quote before starting the service. instead he left got in a wreak and then drove back. the van was trashed and looked like a hit and run he was back to fast for a police report. Then began the job without telling me the quote. After borrowing my tools without permission the gentleman then proceeded to give me a 500 dollar bill for a service I didn't approve. Up charged me 375% for a 15 dollar part then after I showed him it was the wrong part he removed 100 dollars from bill. We then showed him the damage to the wall he said was already there. long Story short we got charged way too much for a 15 min job. even charged us the time he was in the wreak since he said he's was getting a part lmao. I would not use this company ever again. Also read all the reviews.
This will be the second time I am leaving a review for D and D. In my first I said I'd never call anyone else and I meant it. We had an issue with the washing machine drain backing up in a toilet. The crew came out and went to great lengths to try to find the clog, they were on the roof, pulled the toilet up (and found a problem and repaired that while they were at it), and the problem persisted. So they came back out with a camera and finally found the issue. All of this combined cost less than half of what a previous plumber I used charged to run the camera. I'd trust D and D with any plumbing issue I ever had. And I absolutely know that the price I will pay him will be significantly lower than what you'd pay the guys that advertise on the radio all day.
Emergency call to clear clog that backed up entire system. Found out via camera the sewer pipes originally installed were not even the right material or grade for sewage. The team was able to get us unclogged and running normal in less than a day and we are very pleased with the quality work and excellent prices. It took a few days to get the city inspector here but as soon as he gave the green light the team came right over and completely burried the pipes and leveled out the yard enough to settle properly. There were a couple snags here and there but absolutely nothing this team cannot handle. They know alot about the homes in the community. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend.
I have used D and D a couple of times. Both times the problem was probably bigger than I described on the phone. But they are great to work with and never complained about getting into more work than they anticipated. From a leaking toilet that turned into pipe repair and a toilet replacement to a drain clog that ended up using cameras, crawling on the roof, and pulling toilets they just did the work and were super polite and professional while doing it. They make sure everything is done properly before they leave and charge significantly less than the competition. I will never call another plumber for anything. Neither should you.
We had water (so we thought) under our home. I called Brandon's, Dons & Waggoner's, none of them would even return our calls. I phoned D & D Drain and they were at my home within 24 hours. We had a sewer leak and it was awful. They pumped it out, cleaned underneath the home and cleaned up the mess. We did have pipe replaced and they were not a dime over their estimate. I do not know why they had bad referrals, they were professional and timely. We are going to have our home remodeled and they will be our plumber of choice. Bob & Kim Fleck
Do to a leak in the wall where the shower was it caused some nasty damage. They were very polite and were able to come out the next day. They were over an hour late, but we’re courtesy enough to call. They were able to fix the leak, install a new garbage disposal, replace one faucet and repair the other one. They also replaced a old toilet the seemed to run constantly. They offered to just repair it for a cheaper price but I chose to just put a new one in. They were able to do all of it that day. They also cleaned up before leaving.
