Gary and his crew were great! They helped us identify a few issues we had and resolved it in a very timely manner. We started off with clogged toilets 2 days before Christmas - they came out and helped us snake it, pulling out a bunch of roots. They didn't have their camera so we scheduled another appointment for them to come back out after Christmas. They found another clog, but their 100ft snake was not long enough to clear that clog because our main sewer entry was built too far from it. They advised us to put another entry point closer to the city sewer connection for easier access to clearing the pipes in the future. Gary was knowledgeable and provided detailed information to help us make our decision to move forward with the work, without any pressure. Him and his crew of 3 finished the work in 2 days without any disruption to our lives. He provided his advice for maintenance going forward and CDs with the video from the camera footage to show us before and after their work. We are very happy, thank you Costello Plumbing!

Less than 24 hrs ago I discovered a leak in my water heater. I checked "Angies List" for recommended local plumbers. Costello's plumbing came up. I was contacted within 10 minutes. We set an appt for this morning between 9 and 10. Vic and his helper arrived about 9:15. I was given a detailed quote with a fair and expected price. In less than 3 hrs a new heater was brought and installed. Vic did a great job on the installation and clean up. He explained the ways and reasons for servicing the new heater. I was expecting this to be an all day process. The quick and thorough job done by Vic allowed me to keep afternoon appts. My thanks to him and Costello's plumbing for the quick response. I highly recommend them and will keep their number for any future plumbing needs. Great Job!

Every homeowner's worst nightmare is discovering moisture in your walls & floors without knowing how long it's been there. We noticed our kitchen floorboards warping and pulled back a kitchen cabinet toekick to find still water that looked like it had been there awhile. Frantically we called 3 different plumbing companies to come out, diagnose and quote the job. We were alarmed by the quotes we were given and the scope of job they were quoting (tearing down kitchen cabinets, drilling into concrete to access pipes). Some plumbers looked absolutely giddy to discover the work that needed to be done. I'm so thankful we went with Miguel from Costello's Plumbing- he was focused, empathetic and dependable. Miguel and Alex were respectful of our home, wearing shoe coverings at all times and thorough with their clean up. They were creative about how to approach the work to save us on costs (i.e. working inside the cabinet rather than ripping it out) and explained their process thoroughly and transparently. They saved us 1000+ dollars with their competency, and everything was fixed dependably.

The response time was excellent. I was quoted a ball park price over the phone for about $400 and when he arrived it was closer to $800 but after some discussion with the technician he did give a 10% discount. He did a good job with replacing the seal to the toilet and resetting but he did not do a thorough job with cleaning out the drain. did not see a camera to view the main drain, so I am sure he just used a machine to rooter root. A few days later we still had a problem with the drain backing up downstairs. I called my brother in-law and he mentioned a local plumber they used and the new plumber said the machine he and the past plumber use is not long enough to reach the end. All the last plumber did was open part the drain and did not clear all out. My new guy had to come back with a machine that was long enough and thus did a fantastic job, showed me with his camera the problem and showed me his work afterwards and had not any issues since. My last guy should of showed me this issue and I would of gladly paid more money to fix.

Gary and his team of plumbers are professional and honest. Everyone who came to help were courteous, respectful and honest in their work. We initially called Gary due to a leak from our 2nd floor bathroom into our dining room. While we thought the worse of a burst pipe in the ceiling on the first floor; while it took a while for the junior tradesmen to figure out the issue, as soon as Gary saw the situation he knew it was just a simple matter of resealing the shower floor as after 15 years of wear and tear, the sealant came off and that was where the water was coming from. Our next call was an emergency when our water heater burst and Gary told us what to do until he could get there the next morning with a replacement heater. He quickly replaced our water heater and added a pipe without damaging our townhouse siding. Every work that they do is explained clearly so we understood what/why; and there were never any surprises to their estimate.

I am not one to frequently write reviews. However my experience with Gary and Joseph of Costellos Plumbing was exceptional. These two worked relentlessly to solve our two persistently leaky vanity sinks/drains. On three separate occasions Gary and Joseph came out to our residence to address and re-address the same problem, each day professionally and courteously whittling away towards an ultimate solution. Today, for the first day, there is no evidence of a leak! I cannot recommend Costellos Plumbing highly enough. Gary and his team are skillful, dedicated and responsive. Additionally, they are generous with their time, fair minded and appreciate the fact that doing a job right and ensuring complete satisfaction is not only the right thing to do, it's good business. I highly encourage you and anyone you know to invite Costellos Plumbing into your home/property to work on all your plumbing needs. You will be glad that you did!

Our caregiver clogged our entire house plumbing ( to much TP and "disposable wipes" in the toilet). This was a Sat. morning at about 9:00AM. We contacted Costello's Plumbing and told Gary our situation and the urgent need for his help. Garry arrived in about an hour and and I had been trying to find our cleanout before he arrived so he could perform his work. I couldn't find the cleanout and feared it was under a plant which would cost $$ for him to excavate.. When Gary arrive he probed the area and found the pipes. in minutes the water was once again flowing at 11:00AM Gary also took the time to explain the need for an inspection and updating of the 1992 toilets since they appeared to have restricted flow and the slow flushing contributed to the clogging. Gary then gave us a discount on the service and gave us what we considered to be a fare charge for his service. Thanks Again Costello's Plumbing!

I had the unfortunate experience of having a leaking bath tub faucet. I immediately went to yelp to find the best company and am so happy to have landed at Costellos Plumbing. I got a quick response from the owner and the work was done the next day. Miquel R. and a partner came out to do the work. Miguel was kind, respectful, efficient, knowledgeable and professional. He kept me up to the minute on what was happening and when things were needed. He was very flexible and accommodating of the price. My only sad thing was that they did not leave me my receipt which I would like to have for the 1 year warranty. Hopefully, I will not need to use it. The shower is working better than it ever did and I am very happy with the work that was done. He worked with me on pricing also. I cannot recommend Costello's Plumbing enough and especially Miguel who was awesome!

As a new owner of a very old home, as you can imagine, I've encountered a few surprises that have needed professional attention. Gary Costello has helped me with several plumbing issues over the past year and has always provided excellent, prompt, reasonably-priced service. For example, I contacted Gary this morning about a plumbing problem - he called me right away and explained three possible ways he could fix the problem, and what each possible fix would cost. He arrived on time, explained what he discovered, fixed the problem, and charged me exactly what he estimated on the phone. Previously, Gary fixed a problem with my kitchen sink that saved me from having to buy a new fixture that would have cost hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars! I will always call Gary in the future for jobs large and small, and recommend him without hesitation.

Thank you Costello's Plumbing for helping me with my garbage disposal. I had water leakage under my sink and floor that cause me from using my kitchen sink! Alex, the service technician that came out was polite and respectful while in my home...always used disposable shoe coverings when entering my home. Leakage was caused by a needed replacement of the old garbage disposal. His promptness in going out and getting the replacement and with attention to his details was excellent...awesome! Your advice for a future diagnostics evaluation with my galley kitchen and laundry that share the same pipeline outlet. Calling plumbing services in the pasted has had me exhausting! made a lot of sense to me of your advice. Thank you again Alex, you made my day! So happy I can use my sink again! Our kitchen sink had low water pressure after we changed our water tank. We thought it might be sentiment but had a hard time removing our water hose. We called a plumber who came by to tell us it wasn't our hose but we needed to replace our facet cause that was where the clog was (our facet was less than a year old and an expensive touchless one so I was apprehensive to buy another facet). I asked if the facet change didn't do it then what and he replied then we check other stuff and that was it and left. We decided to call Costellos to get a second opinion. We called and the next day Alex came, assessed the problem, checked our water line and figured out it was the valve that was the issue and flushed it. Yay and no issues with the faucet. He was quick, kind and cleaned up after he repaired everything

After having a great experience with Costello's Plumbing replacing our sewer lateral two years ago, we called them again for the much smaller job of disconnecting and reconnecting the sink plumbing for our new kitchen counters. When water damage and mold was discovered behind the old sink, plans needed to be rethought and work rescheduled. But Gary did his best to be flexible and get the work done as soon as possible, along with his workers Victor and Miguel. In both jobs we have especially appreciated Gary's knowledge as we asked questions about the current situation and some hoped for future renovations. It's obvious he's seen a lot because his responses are down-to-earth, practical, and so helpful in making decisions. We will definitely contact him again for the plumbing work we're sure to need.
