Controlled Plumbing did a great job. They came quickly to give a quote. They were eager to accommodate us. They started the work right away. Workers were professional and courteous. They worked well with our insurance company. They cleaned up after the job and power washed our driveway. We are pleased with the work they did.

I’ve been trying to get ahold of you guys for a few weeks am no response. I call the number and nobody picks up or calls back.

While the initial interaction and services performed were satisfactory, I feel compelled to express my disappointment with the follow-through and communication that ensued. Our shower was clogged and we could smell sewage. The team recommended a sewer isolation test, sewer trunk line replacement, hydrostatic test, and the installation of a new cleanout. The total cost for these services amounted to $1,700. Unfortunately, after just two showers, the issues resurfaced. A subsequent visit revealed the need for further repairs, including replacing an additional 20 feet of pipe under the house for $7,000 and potentially addressing the exterior line for an additional $4,000, totaling $11,000. I requested a quote with images from the sewer camera, but this is where the challenges began. Despite multiple follow-ups over four weeks, directed at Rob DeHoyos, the president of Controlled Plumbing, I received nothing but excuses. Regrettably, no quote or images were provided, leaving me in a state of uncertainty about the necessary next steps. While I acknowledge that the initially charged work was completed, the unresolved issue has now left me facing the prospect of additional expenses to rectify the situation. I am disappointed with the lack of communication and the failure to deliver on the promised quote and images. As a customer, I believe that transparency and timely communication are crucial elements of a positive service experience. I trust that this feedback will serve as an opportunity for improvement and will prevent others from encountering similar challenges. I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope that it contributes to enhancing the overall customer experience provided by Controlled Plumbing.

I recently had a major plumbing job done by Robert and his team at Controlled Plumbing, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. We had about 45 feet of cast iron pipe replaced, along with a full replacement of the main drain line out to the city. From start to finish, their communication was constant. Anytime new issues came up, they took the time to explain exactly what was going on, why it mattered, and how they planned to fix it—without ever getting frustrated, even with all my questions. I’m the type who likes to understand what’s happening, and they were more than willing to walk me through each step of the process. That level of transparency really stood out. Their pricing was very reasonable for the amount of work completed, and they worked efficiently to get everything done quickly. One thing I especially appreciated—since my wife is pregnant—is that they always made sure we weren’t left without working sewage at the end of the day. They also kept the work area clean and made sure to show me all of the completed repairs before wrapping up. Overall, I highly recommend Robert and his team at Controlled Plumbing. Honest, professional, and great to work with.

Ever since we moved into our home back in April we’ve had sewage line problems. The week of closing they had 2D Plumbing working on the line under the house however they didn’t hire them to redo the whole thing. So when we did buy the house I asked for the invoices of work because I was aware they did do all new sewage lines but they didn’t. But I sure am glad I asked for their info cause I had them do all my repairs and they’ve come out multiple times to make sure things were done right. Just keep in mind they are from Irving and we’re located in Ennis. Let me tell you these guys are fast and are the best at what they do. I wouldn’t want anyone else doing plumbing for my house other then them. I highly recommend them to anyone needing work. You will not regret it! The best in business and they truly care about there customers and want too offer the best work. I appreciate everything. Thank you 2D Plumbing! July 16, 2024 We were fixing the backyard faucet after a leak, and the line broke off, causing a watery mess. We called the city to shut off the main water line. I called Robert about our situation and if they were able to come out. On the same day, he had his crew come out and fix our faucet. He did an excellent job once again! Therefore, I highly recommend Controlled Plumbing! **************************** I happened to google this company and it was the best decision I have ever made! We had a water leak and I called for a quote. I spoke with Robert, he came out the same day, and we want the repair done as soon as possible. We scheduled the time, they came out the next day early morning, and finished within 2 hours! Robert was knowledgeable, detailed, and his crew was professional! The service was outstanding! I support small businesses and this is the reason that we will continue to use this company for future repairs! Thank you Robert and crews!

Atmos Energy found my outside gas meter was not holding pressure so they turned my gas off until repairs could be done. I googled plumbing companies that have expertise in gas leak locators and repairs and thats when I found Controlled Plumbing and I am so glad I did. I called and spoke to Robert who answer my 1st call. He walked me through what the entire process was going to be, we scheduled the time, they came out the next day and the process began. Herminio, Agusta were very knowledgable, detailed, and professional! From start to finish Controlled Plumbing services was outstanding!!. These guys are good - really good. I had a big job, a complete repipe of my sewer drain lines. I went back and forth multiple times as I considered all my options. They remained patient and everything was explained well and outlined in the work order. They showed up when they said they would, finished ahead of schedule even with a rain delay, came in on budget, kept my home/yard clean, etc. They even scheduled the work in such a way that I was able to avoid staying in a hotel during the repair. Herminio is awesome, he knows his stuff. All the guys were respectful and worked hard. I'll be using these guys for all my plumbing needs, and I'll be referring them as well. Over the weekend I detected a leak under the kitchen sink. It turned out worse than just a minimal leak which is incredibly frustrating since I wasn't able to use the sink and dishwasher. I was stressed but luckily 2D once again alleviated my stress and worries. I sent a request Sunday afternoon and got a response first thing Monday morning. They had a true critical issue with another customer (flooding I believe) and completed that job and immediately came to fix mine. These folks were knowledgeable, patient and efficient. They arrived, surveyed issue and had proper parts to fix and concluded their work within a couple hours. They have all my plumbing business from here on out!

NO DRAMA. I had foundation work through Perma Tech. They discovered a leak under my foundation. They called Controlled Plumbing to fix it. They were there quickly. The job was very complicated because the repair had to be done through a tunnel under my foundation which required some additional tunneling by Controlled Plumbing. I was quoted a price and they finished below that price. The team worked very hard & was very professional. NO DRAMA. They kept me informed the entire way. They also worked in conjunction with Perma Tech. I will call them again if I have any Plumbing issues. The owner kept me updated through the entire difficult process. c

Ok so I normally don't leave reviews... But I wanted to make sure I left one this time. This company will remain our go to when it comes to plumbing. Any time anyone asks for a recommendation I will for sure let them know this is the company to use. They were quick to detect the issue. And repairs were made in a decent amount of time. All workers were very professional. Any questions we had, they answered to their best ability. They made sure we understood what was being done and why. Robert was very involved in all the work that was done and made sure all repairs were 100%.

This has to be one of the best experiences I have ever had with a plumbing company. They are so professional and love the tracking app so you can see where your technicians is. Herminio was my technician and let me tell you this much he went above and beyond to not only explain to me what the problem was but also show me the multiple problems I have in my main lines. Also the pricing was spot on for the amount of time and work that he did. Very professional and knowledgeable. Definitely will be saving there number for the future..

My main water union hose broke from my water well, while I was out of town my Wife and kids were home alone. I called Controlled Plumbing and immediately they answered, they gave me a time line on when they would arrive. They completed the job efficiently and correctly , they went above and beyond they also, insulated the repair without being asked and at no cost. I highly recommend these guys.
