I believe in supporting local. Had what I believed to be a water leak. They came out diagnosed the need for a replacement was really going to try and come back out the same day but not likely when the leak worsened overnight they were out early on Friday and did a wonderful job. If you need plumbing work I highly recommend. They were recommend by Woodstock Heating another local I support.

True professionals that care about their customers. They understand what and how things need to be done without trying to milk money out of you. Were recommended to me by a septic company that also has my 5 star review. No regrets, and am truly thankful for recommendation.

have an old furnace that warms the house since probably the 50s, 60s that was going on strong till my family and I moved in. Year or two later it stops working. We called about it to get it fixed sometime last month saying they'll give us a call about a replacement and the price, it's November 6th and we haven't gotten a call and soon it will be winter. Guess we're stuck with plug in till Spring once again.

We had a situation where we needed some work done in a timely manner. They told us no problem that they could get it done. Strung us along for a few weeks and never came through. They dropped the ball. They could have just communicated with us and told us they couldn't do it but instead they ignored us. And now we are scrambling last minute to have the work done. Not cool.

There was a great deal of water all under our furnace and the water heater. Their service man told us it was our water heater that needed replacing. He then took a great deal of time trying to sell us a bigger tank. We said we would stick with current size. He then replaced the heater. TOPPER WAS: The next day, basement floor was flooded once again. We called Jett Heating who showed us it was only the run off from air conditioning unit that needed a SIMPLE clean out....something Community Plumbing should have known. We also then followed up with another retired plumber, who told us we got screwed by Community Plumbing and suggested we write a review so other people don't get screwed. We will NEVER use them again. Also, the service guy came up from the basement and picked up a paper we had on a table in our front hall and started reading it! He said, "oh our you selling your house? How much you asking for it? Do you have an agent yet? I'll have a personal friend call you who is a realestate agent." I said, "NO. Don't give out our number." His helper brought up SOAKING WET towels up from the basement, into our front hall and into the kitchen, asking where he sould place the DRIPPING WET TOWELS. I told him, "Quick run them out the front door and just leave it on the front porch." He took that to mean he should place the filthy towels used to collect the dirty water around the furnace on the white banisters. (DUH!) Thought for next time: Bring a bag with you and carry the wet towels in the bag until you get outside so the homeowner doesn't need to was the floors after you leave! Oh, sorry...there will NEVER be a next time!.

I am not a fan of leaving bad reviews unless I have given plenty of chances for redemption... Community Plumbing in Woodstock. Now officially on my "NO WAY" list. I called for someone to come take a look at an issue we have with a flange/valve thing. I called February 23, 2021 and left a voice-mail. They responded on February 25, and arrived February 27. He came, told me the problem, and asked my preference on days/times to do the work, and he said "P" (Lady's name that I do not want to showcase) will call you to set up the time. Again, this was February 27. On March 10th, I called to see when they would be coming since I had not gotten any calls yet, but I was a few minutes after office hours, so I left a message. March 15th, I got an invoice in the mail. 😳😠 March 16th, I called asking why I received an invoice for work that was never done. The lady who answered told me she would check into that and call me back. It is now March 24th, 2021, and STILL NO RESPONSE. Needless to say, I am not paying a bogus invoice. And lastly, after giving a plethora of fair chances for this company, I am done and I am sharing a fair warning to all of you. 😁

Called and set up a time to get a estimate for electrical work done for a bathroom install. A day before the estimate was suppose to happen I received a call about an emergency install they had to do so we rescheduled the estimate for 8 days later. The new day for the estimate comes and was scheduled for 8a.m. .... no one shows up, 8:15 I call to find out where they are. I talk to the receptionist who tells me they are still in the office and they will be out in a bit. They do show up at 8:30, they take a couple pictures ad talk to me about what I want. They were in and out within 5-8 minutes. Before they leave I ask about when I may see the estimate they tell me they will mail it to me. (The estimator does not like to use email) On December 30th I call and talk to the receptionist again and she tells me she will call me back when she finds out what's going on. Well it's now January 9th and still no estimate.

Quick to call you back when you need work done. However once they get their money they ignore you. They came out and installed a new water heater. Ours was under warranty and they said we would have to pay up front and they would reimburse us when they got the refund from the water heater. That was over three months ago. No refund and they won’t return our phone calls. We have called THREE times. First time spoke with a woman and said she would get back to us and never heard back. The last two times we have left messages and silence. Still waiting for my reimbursement.... Not people you can trust. Stole $700 from us.

Had them do a couple of jobs at my old house in Woodstock. They were borderline competent but reasonably priced. Needed a plumber to look at a problem with my water heater in my new house. I called them on a Thursday. They said the plumber would be there Friday. Waited all day. Called them around 4pm to find out where the plumber was. Apparently they had all gone home for the weekend, and repeated calls went to a garbled answering machine. Left several messages asking them to call me back to reschedule. They never returned my calls.

Worst company I have ever seen. I had them put in a float because they said I needed a new one and my sump pump was fine. 2 months later, the float didn't work and my basement flooded. When I called for help, the owner lied to me and said they don't service my area (Woodstock). I had another company fix their problem and the owner said if I did my own clean up to save them money, he would take care of it. Another lie. I am out over a thousand dollars now and have to get my attorney to sue. Don't do business with this company!

I have had them out to my house twice. The first time was for an emergency issue I was having, and they were responsive and the rate they charged was very reasonable. Second time was to fix my ejector pit. They showed up on time, and again, were pleasant to work with. The job took a little longer than originally thought, but they stuck to the quoted price and didn't try to up charge me. I will certainly use they again in the future.

Our jetted tub had a bad drain that had become corroded and was kind of crumbling. The service man did a great job replacing it even though it was a mess. We also had to replace a faucet. The big surprise was the bill - much less than we expected. Friendly, courteous, great service and reasonable pricing.

They did an excellent job taking care of replacing a leaking hot water heater. It was done quickly, and were very knowledgeable in making sure that all of the connections were correctly done. It was greatly appreciated.
