After the freezing temperatures and thinking the outside pipes were protected, pipes can freeze and break. Happened on a Monday evening and Travis was able to come to the rescue the next day, before noon, and had the broken pipe replaced and the water back on in under an hour! Travis was very professional, personable, explained what needed to be done and completed the repair, far exceeding my expectations! I’ll definitely be contacting Clear and Present Plumbing again. Highly recommend!

Asked them to replace a plumbing cartridge for master shower. The manufacturer already supplied the parts via warranty call. I asked what pricing would be and the only response was 'service call charge' but no clarity as to what this was. $285 later, 15 minutes of their time and no explanation as to why it's that ludicrous of a charge.

We had a water softener for the whole property, and two water heaters installed (one per house). The folks who did the work were unprofessional, and condescending. The price was acceptable, or we wouldn't have had it done, but I'd have been willing to pay more for professional service. I would not hire them again, nor would I recommend them.

Old fashioned quality and dependability, with great customer service! Travis really knew what he was doing!! Extremely nice and polite young man. I found Clear and Present Plumbing shortly after I canceled a contract with another company for the exact same work, but $1,000 more. Not only was I going to have to pay $1,000 more but I was going to have to pay interest for 3 years. At the lesser price I was able to work things around and put it on a credit card that I could easily pay off next month. That $1,000 made a huge difference, as I am on a fixed income. I had an appointment for early afternoon, and all by 5:00 I had an amazing estimate and Travis left me with a new water heater! The other company, out of Austin, never even showed up to my first appointment. I had to keep calling them. I've done business with that other Austin company about 20 years ago. Their technicians took two brand new, orange, commercial grade, extension cords, and left me with two trashed, old, orange extension cords with chunks taken out of them and the end missing on one of them. That man got away with it and probably lots more because they were never reported. What's the use? Bad people will always do bad things! Travis knows what he's doing and he's good at it!! I also have to mention the man who answered the phone at Clear and Present Plumbing. I think his name is Rocky. Very nice and extremely patient, as I tend to ramble. Which is evident in this post. Thank you Clear and Present plumbing for making a necessary and expensive experience bearable!!

If you need a good, honest, straight talking skilled plumber, get with David Richards and his team at Clear and Present Plumbing. I had a water leak in my yard and got on Yelp and looked up plumbers and sent out a request to several for quotes and availability through the Yelp app. I got 3 replies but David's was the first and most detailed, so I decided on him and his company. I finalized the appointment for Feb 9, 2018 through the Yelp app. David and his apprentice Brother James provided a courtesy text that they were in route to my home and arrived during the appointed time. I was very pleased. These guys wasted no time in getting started, finding the issue and proceeded to make the repairs all while keeping me informed of the repair progress. The issue was a bad elbow joint that broke from ground shift and root growth. David and James replaced this with a stronger 90 degree joint and encased in sand after removing the roots so the repair would hold and even provided a 1 year warranty on the fix. So it was better than ever now and the final cost of the fix was actually $25 less than the original guesstimate. I was beyond pleased. To top it off, David sent the detailed invoice by email and it had a link attached to make the payment easily with a multitude of payment methods which was super convenient. I will not hesitate to contact Clear and Present Plumbing again for my plumbing needs. VERY RECOMMENDED!!

This is an honest, dependable, knowledgeable company. I had tried everything myself to fix this leak in my wall and nothing worked. I called Clear and Present Plumbing because of the reviews I read and I was not disappointed! I sent a message through the website late the night before thinking someone might get back to me at the earliest later the next day and they called early THE NEXT MORNING asking if I was available that day. I was very impressed. Travis and Jesus called saying they were ahead of schedule and was I available now. When they got here I was expecting a quote and that I would let them know and they would have to schedule a time to come back. (Not sure if plumbing is different due to the nature of the business) but was floored when Travis quoted me an unexpected low price and got to work right away. He and Jesus worked together like clockwork and were done in less than an hour including cleaning up and waiting to make sure the leak was good and fixed. I slept soundly that night for the first time in a week. Thank you Travis and Jesus. You not only fix plumbing well, but reassure and de-stress the people you help and to me that is more important than anything. Sorry for the book.

Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value So, moved from Charlotte to Kyle & needed a good quality plumber. What an experience that was. Multiple phone calls later, checking Google & Yelp reviews - I selected C&PP based on my Realtor's advice, Chris Torrey. What a great & highly professional installation they did for my Insinkerator instant hot water tap & filter system. Some of the other companies I called were scary - wanted high fees to estimate, wanted to sell me more than I wanted, wanted to promote a good/better/premium service package. I just wanted good, fair, professional installation - which I got from Clear & Present Plumbing. My opinion: HIGHLY Recommended. Thank you David & Travis!!! UPDATE: Travis did a professional install of my water softener - see the photos! Another company wanted $4500 for a water softener (no filter) - can you believe it. I called David & he advised to buy an AO Smith from Lowes & he would install it with a high flow Post (after) Filter. Look how nice! Total cost, install, softener, filter, multiple valves, delivery by Lowes, taxes, filter media... less than $2200. These guys are GREAT!

I am 70 yrs old & David Richards is absolutely the best plumber I have dealt with in my life. He is young & is trying to build his business the right way, courtesy , professional , thoughtful & dependable. Called himto fix a leak in our dishwasher. He responded to my call promptly & came within a few hours. He located the source of the leak and fixed it. He took his time & tested the repair. We thought it was fixed but two days later it started to leak again. He had told me that if it didnt work might need to replace the part but he would return for no charge but the part. He called & found out the part had to be ordered but wouldnt come in till day after I was leaving town. Got the part place to get a priority shipment for $ 55 plus the part was $ 50. He stated he woulf pay for the part if I paid shipping. Today he replaced the part & also found out water pressure was to high which may have attributed to the leak. Then when I tried to pay for the shipping he refused saying I had gone thru too much with him having to come back 3 times. I will definitely call him again!!

Spoke with David(owner) last night and he had Ben, one of the plumbers come out to our home this morning to put in new shower fixture set. Ben was very professional and knows how to get the problem fixed. There was quite a bit of work to do, and he had things fixed in a very reasonable time. I was very impressed with his kindness as I have a ton of stress from the loss of my husband as he passed onto heaven. CLEAR AND PRESENT PLUMBING is always early or on time to our home. Very courteous men that work for this business. Ben is exceptional as well with years of experience. Welcome your wife and you to Buda/Kyle area of TEXAS. Reached out to David early Monday morning about a clogged kitchen sink in a house which I had just purchased and moved into. He responded quickly with a quote and offered to fit me into the schedule that morning. The clog proved to be significantly worse than either of us expected, approximately three feet of hardened grease and garbage disposal debris that had accumulated in a dip in the line about 25' from the trap which he showed me through the camera feed. Despite having to work on it longer than anticipated, he honored the original quote. He even allowed me to watch on his camera feed as he cleared the final bit from the line and pushed it on down into the main feed. The quality of service was excellent and timely, plus they cleaned up after themselves leaving the kitchen almost exactly as they found it, minus the clogged sink. Good service, reasonable price and prompt response. It is easy to recommend David @ Clear and Present Plumbing.

I came home from a business trip to a busted pipe in my yard (apparently running for days). It was after hours, but based on the word of mouth from my neighbors, my first call was to Clear and Present Plumbing before I even set my suitcase down. I was tired, anxious, and without any water, but David was quick in responding (even though he was out of town). He calmed my anxiety and letting me know he could have someone out the next day. Almost four hours earlier than expected the following day (a Friday), Travis and his team were at the house and able to immediately attack the problem. Their pricing was fair and upfront, and they were done quickly. I had the pipe fixed, hole filled in, and water back on in record time, and I couldn't be happier. I would absolutely use them again, and appreciate the peace of mind that came with their swift, professional response to my dilemma.

These guys do good quality work at a fair price! I’m new to Kyle and have used Clear and Present Plumbing a couple of time now. They’re quick to respond, do great work and don’t over charge or try to sell anything you don’t need. I called to request when I could schedule a hydrostatic test after our foundation repair. They told me they could fit me in the next day and was promptly there at the agreed upon time. The technician completed the years quickly and provided the correct information needed to ensure my warranty for the foundation repair remained valid. Both technicians were friendly, professional, and prompt. Thia was not my first interaction with David and his company as I had called previously a few years prior regarding an issue with my water heater. He actually spent about 5 minutes talking through the problem with me over the phone and I was able to fix the problem with his assistance. I remembered that and selected them when I required this hydrostatic test. They are 2 for 2 and I would recommend them to anyone who needs any sort of plumbing repair, maintenance, or job done.
