Josh was awesome, I work for a company where our facility bathroom was stopped up, & he resolved the issue effectively & efficiently. I would recommend this company ask for JOSH!!! Thank You!.
Thank you to Mr. Ricky for coming out to fix the plumbing he had great customer service and the service he provided was quick
Joshua was on time and a big help.
BEWARE of using RENE NAVA for your plumbing needs. He tried to charge me $3500 to fix my busted pipe. That's almost 5X the amount he charged my neighbor, just minutes before, for what he told me could be the same issue. He said he may have to disconnect my toilet & not reconnect. The damage was not behind the toilet. Which he could see at my neighbor's house, since we share some pipes. I decided to call another plumber who charged $800.
My daughter flushed tampons down the toilet (sigh)...so you know where this is going. I couldn't get it cleared with my snake so I thought I'd pay the $50-75 to get a pro out here to clear it. This is where Citywide comes in. The Good: Owner was the only person that emailed me back with a quote and said it would be $60 and probably not much more. The plumber showed up on time. The Not So Good: Plumber showed up without a mask or gloves and walked into the house. That probably didn't bother me as much as the fact he didn't even put anything over his dirty ass boots. My wife, daughter and I all work hard to keep our little house clean and to have someone just walk in with boots? Come on. The Bad: Rather than concentrate on the clog I was told the problem was the fill valve. Yes, the toilet is close to 17 years old and I know the valve is dying, but all I wanted was to get the clog cleared. Then he proceeds to write up a work order for...get this...$368 to replace the fill valve: to the uninitiated, that is a $12 part and would take an inexperienced person about 30 minutes to install. I paid the $60, politely sent him on his way and then dragged my kid to Lowes where we bought a brand new toilet for $175. After watching a couple of YouTube videos my daughter helped me install the new toilet in about 30 minutes. Now she has a new toilet and knows how to install one to boot. My experience, while not necessarily bad, is that Citywide is your typical predatory mechanical service; they prey on the weak and old by charging exorbitant prices for even minor fixes. $300 for your elderly mother to fix a leaky faucet kind of place.
I took a rare risk reaching out to a business without good reviews, but I saw they were under new management so I went with my gut. Although I'm still in the middle of arranging the full job to be set up through my insurance, I want to go ahead and rave about the initial service visit. Tim was out to assess the problem within 24 hours of my reaching out, and he was not only professional, but very personable and willing to walk through and assess multiple concerns in my house and offer advice and referrals, completely free of charge until he can return to do his portion of the work. He even crawled up under the house into a small crawl space to check for water damage, despite the fact that it wasn't the issue he was originally called out for, and so far it seems that he saved me a potential future disaster by catching a hidden leak that I was only suspicious of. I've had other plumbers out before, who did a quick job without much reassurance of what was going on or how to monitor the situation further, as long as they got paid and got out, but now I'm pretty sure I've found my go-to person for all of my home's plumbing concerns. Tim clearly cares about his work and the wellbeing of the home he is working with, and it's evident that he isn't interested in taking advantage of people just to make an extra buck. I highly, highly recommend working with CityWide to tend to any plumbing concerns in your home. I'll try to add an update after they come back out and the full job is compete, but I can see that these are honest and decent professionals, which isn't so easy to find these days.
I signed closing papers around 3 PM today; 12:30 AM i was in tears and sopping up water with paper towels. I called roto rooter, who actually stops service at midnight, then called CityWide. Two agents called back within five minutes. Fifteen minutes later, a plumber arrived and started assessing the situation. Long story short, a copper fitting had bent which spouted a leak from the line running to the ice maker. Less than an hour later, Nick finished moving the refrigerator back in place and helped us clean up the last few puddles. Nick Barclay is a bright, and confident guy, and I'm glad he was on call tonight. PS - We did try to access the main shutoff valve as located in the home inspection report. Left, right.. is the water pressure decreasing? No. I had referenced the home inspection report and now offer this homeowner tip - Ask your home inspector to engage the shut off valve and verify it does, in fact, control all water lines. What the inspector noted in the report only controls an outside hose line. I compared the story with a couple other cases and found out that no one's home inspector did this obvious but important step. The main cutoff supply in the front yard is largely inaccessible. However, just inside the wall of the crawl space, a larger shut-off valve controls all lines inside the house. I only know of it because of the urgent call placed tonight. Nick showed us how to access and made sure the valve did its job. Thank you.
A huge shout out to CityWide Plumbing in exceeding all my expectations of emergency service yesterday when my hot water heater failed at the most inopportune time. I had just brought my wife home from a week of ICU care at the hospital and the hot water heater broke down. CityWide dispatched Technician Josh Montgomery who assessed the problem and assured me that I would have water service returned before the day was out. Working alone at the time he made a separate trip to their warehouse facility to pick-up the new heater and parts and, by mid-afternoon. had a new heater installed. What happened next was a totally unexpected nightmare. When he was about to turn water service back on to my home at the curb, Josh heard a hissing sound noticed water seeping into the meter box which needed immediate attention. It was the makings of a major water line break which required the assistance of Darron another CityWide technician. The outside repairs were accomplished during and around a rainstorm no less and hot water service was returned to normal by dinner! Reliability and professional service at its absolute best! Five stars to Josh, Darron and CityWide!
I highly recommend City Wide Plumbing! My late husband always used to take care of our plumbing and electrical problems, so when my kitchen faucet stopped working I was in a bind. It was the kind that had a touchless sensor, but even after I replaced the batteries: still no water. I Googled a few local plumbing services but this was the only one that answered my call and really listened. Chad was personable and professional, and explained several options so that I could make a decision. The plumber who came out did an excellent job: he was proficient and thorough. Overall: excellent communication, very reasonable costs, and trustworthy.
Tech shows up, he's so fat he can't even walk up and down the stairs. Got mad when I asked him to move his truck because my daughter needed to leave for work. Then on the way down the stairs using the bannister wasn't enough, he put his hands on my newly painted wall just to go down the stairs and when asked to stop copped another attitude. When he gave the price of $180 just to fix a running toilet I simply asked, is this a weekend price or a regular price? His response, do want me to fix it or not. Stay away at all cost. Pathetic service with an attitude, because God forbid you ask a question.
Let me just say that this is a company that I would not recommend to anyone, they were contracted to run a new water line, in the process they damaged my sprinkler system, failed to tie it back in as it was originally done and made a huge mess of my front yard, and in addition to that left a wheelbarrow full of dirt sitting right net to the hole that had to filled in, no solutions just excuses, As a service provider my self when we break it we fix it and we do our very best to leave things the way we found them, I will be posting pictures also, absolutely ridiculous customer service BEWARE!!!!
Crazy story. Was about to throw in the towel on a clogged toilet. I went to a big box to pick up supplies and noticed a beautiful CITYWIDE truck. I thought why not call. They responded immediately and said was the morning OK. I agreed. Then I get another call, mind you, this is almost 5:30pm. Dispatch asked if it was OK if a plumber finishing up could come by on his way home. I said SURE. They sent Josh and he was courteous, explained everything in concise detail and had me running in no time. I would highly suggest you give CITYWIDE a chance. They are A+ in my book.
I had requested Citywide to come out and fix a leak under my kitchen sink I requested it late Friday at the end of the day wasn’t that bad didn’t need emergency. I went in the hospital for surgery the following Monday they worked with me and my schedule and came out today. Nick and Justin were amazing I still wasn’t feel great they let me rest while they worked. They even brought my cat litter in off my porch that I had delivered earlier in the morning for me. Very respectful young men and would recommend them to anyone
City wides service was outstanding. I work for Cobb County Parks and we had a plumbing emergency with drains backing up in our building at 10pm. Within 30 mins of calling, Nick was at the site and pulling tools from the truck ready to fix the problem. Repair was made quickly and he cleaned up after the job making sure to document the before and after with photos. Super nice and professional attitude for a late night call. Thank you all so much for the service to the county and its citizens.
I found them online about 6 months ago for an emergency repair to my basement sewer pump. They responded in a speedy manner, came in and replaced the unit. I was issued a 1-year warranty for the service. Unfortunately, the unit failed, and they were called to honor the warranty. The company sent a technician the very next business day, and replaced the unit at no additional cost. They are a company that stands by their word, and I will strongly recommend them.
