City Sanitary Sewer Cleaning

8-11- 2025 Today, I called to make an appointment. Adam was the person who serviced the kitchen drain for me. He was nice and went right to work. I was very impressed that he said to keep my receipt because they give a warranty of 1 year. I feel confident in the quality of work performed and the cleanliness he kept the place while doing the job!

I can't thank them enough. Thought I had a broken drain tile on New Years Eve they sent someone out who was wonderful and all it needed was a good rodding out. Price was reasonable. Service was excellent and super friendly people. Got the recommendation from Crown Point Facebook. Alot os people here have used them. They gave me a very happy beginning to 2025

Second time I've had to use them. The wait time I was given was considerably larger then the time it took Adam to come out. When he showed up he was nice, knowledgeable, and fast. Also, with how much prices have shot up in the last 3 years, I think a price increase of only $50 for a root clean out is amazing.

This business gave me the impression of being untrustworthy. They insisted on receiving cash payment before performing any work, which made me question whether they are legitimate. I would not recommend this company.

They NEVER answer the phone! What's the use of paying for a year of protection when you can only reach them for one month!

I had used City Sanitary before to clean a clogged line and was happy with the services. Draw-back is they don't have cameras to check drains, so we used someone else thereafter. We like to understand the condition of sewer drains, not just blindly rod them. So this time, we are the buyers of a single family home. We brought the other company in to camera the line. We watched the monitor as the camera went in and to our surprise there are several pieces of rodding equipment stuck right there at the beginning few feet. We were told that this drain was very recently rodded, so we did not expect anything blocking the drain. Also, there were still roots left right there as well. The camera made it past the rodding equipment and we have excellent pictures of the issue. We continued down the drain and found that while most of the line was clear, there are several sections still full of roots. We are in touch with the folks who had hired City Sanitary for the job done just a few weeks ago - home is unoccupied - and they first didn't even "remember" they did the job - which they told me too - then they were called on the invoice and details about the job, so now Adam remembers. However he claims they didn't lose rodding equipment in the drain. If that equipment had been in the drain before they came, there is absolutely NO WAY they would have gotten through this section. Yet they claim they went 90 ft to the city sewer. Now while I am convinced they went to the sewer because most of the drain was actually cleared, someone then left pieces of rodding equipment lodged in the drain. They are not taking responsibility. So I am saying "Buyer Beware" for this company.

Had a sewer line backup..called them in, they were priced right, came on time and we courteous., but thats about it.. the guy wouldn't run the line from the clean out plug, said it was to hard to take off..spent about 15 to 20 minutes and gave up..said it was clogged...and left ..after making an appointment waiting for them to see no results..wouldn't recommend them .

No one ever wants to call a plumber. But when you need to have your sewer line rodded out, City Sanitary is the one to call. Their staff is very friendly and go above and beyond. And they are priced right. They are the only ones I use and have been using for years. I call them once a year for yearly maintenance. As you can see, I'm extremely happy with their service.

Just had them out today! Our main sewer line going out to the street was completely blocked. Adam was our guy. He was great! Very nice and very professional. Tree root was blocking the drain. In and out in about an hour! We’ve lived here 3 years and I’ve never seen our drains go down so fast 😂 very affordable as well. Work guaranteed for a year.

The man who came took advantage of my wifes vulnerable being and made her pay $40 although they did no work for us. We were completely willing to pay them to do the work but according to him they couldn’t do it. How does it make sense to charge $40 to say you can’t do the work requested? Bad business to the rescue.

Adam came out and did an excellent job! Have been using City Sanitary for the past 30 years as we have tree roots that always cause issues and have to have the sewer rodded out every few years. This business is very professional and always on time. Also has the best price for their services. Definitely recommend!

He is amazing and takes care of everything you need!! He knows if something is wrong and will not hesitate to get a second opinion. His nurses are so sweet and so comforting. They all make you feel right at home. I don’t usually go to a hospital but for a podiatrist he is the best!!

they do good work ! look forward to calling again if needed . Their tech Adam was very courteous and polite. Seemed very experinced at what he was doing. They answer the phone instead of putting you through so much hasstle. Plus they speak English and can understand every word.

had City Sanitary come out and rod my sewers for close to 4years I cannot enough good things about them They atcually come at the exact time they you They care about what hey do are ,very fairly priced . are knowledgeable,and very nice You wil not be disappointed Rose

I prefer supporting local businesses but they have very strict hours. I would have had to take a half day off of work to use them. It was not an emergency and it could have been done any day. Would not make a 4:30 appointment - latest was 2:00. No Saturday hours.
