Kevin is an absolutely incredible plumber. He just replaced my water heater that crapped out on me and fixed my water main which was leaking for a super fair price. I didn’t have to worry about anything he got the parts brought them and replaced them himself. He’s come out to repair my plumbing so many times and so many ways, always incredible work, and super kind. I highly recommend him

Kevin came by same day and was able to identify the issue and replace our garbage disposal in less than an hour. Was communicative and friendly. I would definitely recommend him and others from choice plumbing if they are anything like Kevin.

Five stars for Choice. Our water heater broke Friday evening. We made a few calls. My husband spoke with Kevin and the two made arrangements for the following morning. Kevin was at our home for about 3 or 4 hours and did a fabulous job of removing the previous water heater and installing the new. The work and craftsma ship is top notch; we highly recommend Kevin at Choice if you need a replacement.

When he arrived we had a couple of questions regarding our options, as we had already had others out to do repairs to this toilet with no avail. He immediately responded rudely and appeared offended that we had any questions about the job. He wanted 175$ to snake the toilet, and if that didn't work he wanted 300-350$ more to remove the toilet and do a more invasive clearing. We reiterated several time that we had no problem compensating him for his time and work, we just didn't want to pay for anything we didn't need if there was a better option to start with. He then walked out of our house saying we could do it ourselves and then proceeded to tell us that we should "go to whitey" instead. I was deeply offended and intimidated by the behavior he displayed in my home, which was especially shocking being that he seemed professional and personable during our initial phone conversations. I will not be recommending him to anyone, and I hope this review will help others avoid similar treatment.

One can only hope the following review isn't likely to usurp Kevin Hill's, the owner of Choice Plumbing Inc., modestly nurtured and well-balanced sense of self, but it's virtually impossible not to relish the quality and craft of his work. In two visits we've had him replace the shower fixtures in both our bathrooms with flawless results. Given the extent to which both showers were damaged, one didn't work at all and the other, in the master bath, was far from efficient, we, my wife and I, couldn't feel more pleased with the outcome. In addition to which, unlike so many contractors, he's punctual, meticulous, scrupulously tidy, organized, and engaging. We had a few pleasant chats where he described various exciting aspects of his life that involved travel to various parts of the world including Thailand and the Dominican Republic. So, in addition, to providing the best plumbing services imaginable, he’s also a rather evolved fellow. In short someone you might also want in your social universe. Apologies in advance, Kevin, if any of this threatens you with a swelled head:-)

Kevin Hill is great! He did a small plumbing job for me but a month later my water heater burst and flooded my basement with 2-3 inches of water, threatening my A/C equipment. I called Kevin at 5:30 pm and he was working 2 hours away and couldn't come right away. BUT - he told me how to stop the water heater from leaking so I could save my A/C equipment. Then at 8 pm on his way back to Sacramento he called to see if he should come by. He came by the next morning and explained how my heater didn't meet code and how he could install a heater that would pass code inspection. Everything he did was great - he explained things and how he was going to reattached the plumbing, etc. City Inspector came by and everything was approved. VERY quick response, clear explanations, and competitive pricing.

I have used Choice Plumbing Inc for the last few years, about 3-4 years. Kevin is awesome. From the first time he helped me with a busted pipe in my front yard, to dripping sprinkler heads in my backyard to fixing bathroom sinks, shower heads and outside faucets.., he has been the same each time. He is kind, professional, straight to the point and reasonable in pricing. He is very calm for those over anxious people who freak out over water leaks or issues. I only use him for my plumbing needs. He does not install appliances i already asked lol. He is timely and he communicates great. Add him to your preferred list of plumbers. He is the only one i truly trust who won’t overcharge me and get the job done. Kevin just know i appreciate all the work you have done for me at my home.

I was referred to Kevin when I was desperate to find a Plumber. He came out and took care of our issue (leaking main drain in Kitchen sink I couldn't get fixed myself after 4 attempts). I then had Kevin back out to assist with moving a gas pipe for a new range we purchased, again, outstanding work and accommodating what we were wanting to happen. More recently Kevin came out and replaced a shower valve that was leaking and beyond repair. He did a fantastic job, and took the time to pay attention to the small details (had to cut into a wall), and by doing so limited the overall scope of the project. Personally, there is no one else I could even think of when it comes to any plumbing repair. Very reasonably priced, discusses options, and does fantastic work!

First let me say I am a builder/architectural designer, and I've dealt with a lot of tradespeople over the years, good and bad. I know the value of a license and insurance when dealing with subcontractors. Kevin responded quickly to my email from his ad on Craigslist. He was available and showed up right on time for our appointment. His price was fair and consistent with other plumber rates (remember, you're not paying for the wrench, you're paying for they guy who knows how to use it and who knows when not to use a wrench). He got in and got all the work done quickly, professionally and cleanly. Saved me a lot of time in my schedule and saved my back, too. I will definitely be using Kevin's services again. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

It was 7pm and I called Choice Plumbing in an emergency. Our pipe broke at the water shut off valve and I had no water until I could get the pipe repaired first. Kevin was with a client but said he could come out to repair first thing in the morning. What I most appreciated was he didn't cut me off & tell me he couldn't help. I was in a pinch & was grateful that he stayed on the line with me & talked me through what I needed to do in the meantime. He told me to send pics of the damage and had an estimate to me the next morning. Kevin was fast & efficient. No messes left behind. The pipes are working & I have water! I can't thank you enough Choice Plumbing, you are now my go to for plumbing services.

Kevin has been my go to plumber for years now. Recommended by a friend years ago- he is always honest, reliable and on time. He was willing to work with me to keep my 1950s toilet going even though the easier route would have been to replace it. Other quotes from plumbers were unreasonable. I won’t call anyone else for plumbing issues as long as Choice plumbing is still in business! Edit: Kevin saved the day again, fixed my other vintage toilet. Goes above and beyond always to fit the customers request- in this case it was important to me to save the original style toilet. Always will highly recommmend Choice Plumbing.

Kevin saved the day! Fast, efficient, professional. 6AM Saturday morning we had a shower valve emergency and water would not shut off. To make matters worse our water main is also apparently broken and we couldn’t shut off the water outside! As soon as I called, Kevin immediately jumped in his truck and was on his way to help. He arrived with the part he needed and knew exactly what to do. The shower valve was working again in no time. He even showed me how to turn off the water at the street main for any future emergency. We will definitely be calling Kevin to help us again! Thank you!

We woke up to cold water Thursday morning when our old water heater died suddenly. We decided to call Choice Plumbing since they are located close to our house and we prefer to support local businesses. Kevin arrived within two hours to diagnose the problem and we opted to replace old water heater. I found Kevin to be very professional and knowledgeable. The price to remove/dispose the old water heater and install the new water heater was reasonable. I was very happy with the work and would definitely use Choice Plumbing in the future.
