The winter of 2025-2026 was pretty brutal, with temps in single digits on some days. I had shut off our first floor baseboard heating due to a leak somewhere in the water pipe system. However the old Levitt house we live in have the pipes embedded into the concrete slab (no basement) so finding the leak was especially challenging. Our HVAC system plus the Dyson Heating unit DID NOT provide enough heat during the cold nights. In March we finally called several plumbing contractors to see how the leak can be detected and repaired. Only Chivalry offered using thermal imaging gun to try to narrow where the leak might be. Eric and Rich came out to perform the scan and identified two possible leak locations. The first potential leak site was in the kitchen. They were able to limit removing just a single 18×18-inch tile to access the pipe, but this location showed no leak. The second location, near the back door, required cutting through laminate flooring, and that is where they found the leaking pipe. Replacing the leaking pipe section was fairly standard. But the hardest part was finding the leak. We are grateful for Eric and Rich's detective work and the repair done to restore our baseboard heating. Now we can look forward to a warm winter next year. PS. Its up to the homeowner to repair the surface AFTER the digging, which I was able to do myself. Luckily, I kept some tiles and floorboards.
I’ve been meaning to write this for a while. Back in Fall 2025, Chivalry Plumbing installed our new boiler and removed the old one, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Will, Anthony, and Eric were fantastic to work with. They were professional, respectful of our home, and incredibly clean and neat throughout the entire process. What really stood out was how efficiently they worked. They completed a full boiler installation and removal in just one day, and the setup they put in is top notch. We couldn’t be happier with the quality of the work. I highly recommend Chivalry Plumbing to anyone looking for reliable, skilled, and courteous service.
Had a bit of a scare when my toilet wouldn't flush prompting me to call. It was my first experience using Chivalry and I was very impressed! Not only did I get an appointment the same day, the plumbers who came were thorough, ensuring there wasnt a blockage. The cost was fair and I cam say i will be calling again if needed!
We used Chivalry (previously known as Aquaman) for many years. They used to be good, but not anymore. When we called them we were told we needed to get the faucet ourselves and that they would come to replace it. Fine, we went to Home Depot and picked up a Glacier Bay faucet and yesterday, 2 Chivalry guys came to replace the faucet for us. They charged more than five hundred dollars for this. Today, we found out there is a small leak at the valve in between Glacier Bay’s tubing and our sink pipe. We called Chivalry and they sent someone else who is not one of the original guys that replaced the faucet. He looked at the leak and said the leak was caused by a factory defect and Glacier Bay products always have this kind of problem. Then he said he only uses Moen products and that he has some of their faucets in his truck. If we wanted to, he could replace it again, only this time it would cost us more than nine hundred dollars, including the parts. Meanwhile, I told him the 2 guys yesterday took our Glacier Bay box with them, so we’re unable to return it to Home Depot should we need to. He called them and told them not to throw out the box. When I asked “So when are your guys going to return the original box to us?” He said when we called them to replace it again they would bring it back on that day. So the understatement is that if we don’t call them for the next faucet replacement, we would not get our Glacier Bay box back to return to Home Depot. We said we’d think about it. After he left, at first we planned on going to Home Depot to pick up a Moen’s faucet, but somehow, something he said really bothered me. So I just asked my husband to tighten the valve and after that there were no more leaks. So, the original 2 guys didn’t even tighten the valve enough so that it wouldn’t leak and the 2nd guy didn’t even think to tighten the valve at all? And no one verified that it didn’t leak after the job was done? We will never hire them again. Why is it so hard to find an honest and reliable plumber?
This company is truly outstanding. From start to finish, their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction exceeded my expectations. The entire team is extremely well trained, knowledgeable, and dedicated to delivering high-quality service. Their communication throughout the process was clear, timely, and reassuring, which made everything smooth and stress-free. It is rare to find a company that combines genuine expertise with such a strong focus on customer care, but they have achieved exactly that. I was impressed not only by the results, but also by the way they made me feel like a valued customer every step of the way. I will absolutely be using their services again in the future and will be recommending them to family, friends, and colleagues without hesitation. Exceptional companies like this deserve recognition, and I am grateful to have found them.
