Very happy with the service provided. I contacted them on Tuesday afternoon and had a new water heater by Thursday noon. An expansion tank and new pipes were installed as well. Very professional and the best price by far. Highly recommended.

Used Dave before with great satisfaction. Referred to my sister. Dave fixed her right up. Fast, efficient and fair! Would definitely recommend.

Best service, price, and communication. Other companies wanted to change 3K for a new water heater. Chalmers price blew me out of the water. I was able to call and send pictures of my unit. Then get a call back with a quote. Straight to the point. The team worked fast and answered all of my questions. I will be a repeat customer in the future. Beware of the other local companies that got bought out by large corps.

Called Chalmers plumbing for our backed-up downstairs toilet and sink. Chalmer's Plumbing came out promptly the next day. The plumber rodded out the main pipe in our basement and stated that he couldn't get through to our septic tank; We paid for the rodding. Chalmer's plumber stated that the problem was with the sewer pipe between the house and the septic tank, and quoted us $2,200 to dig up and replace the pipe; I felt a bit off about how the plumber was a acting towards us, and instead we got a second opinion, as well as a video inspection from a reputable septic service company. Turns out we just needed one vent pipe replaced and a system blow-out, which including the video inspection cost us a total of $1,700. I got the sense that Chalmer's Plumbing was taking us for a ride. I will not be calling Chalmer's Plumbing ever again. EDIT: I am adding this clarificatjon in addition to my review above to address Chalmers response to my review: Be cautioned. Chalmers did NOT suggest a video inspection at the time of his service at my house. He called me back the next day with a quote and no definitive answers to my problem. I also picked up resentment towards me from the plumber when he came to my house, once he met me in person. I never had a problem with the guy at all, so I was wondering what his gripe was. Maybe he was just having a bad day. He was very cold and impersonal towards us.

Chalmers pricing was exorbitant. He also did not finish a job (caulking around toilet) and when I called to let him know, he ignored us and never called back. Edit: I already called you shortly after the job was done, so we called another plumber to fix it because you ignored us. This plumber had to fix your job because the leak continued on the other job you did while you were here.

Had this company come out to do some plumbing work on the lines outside of our house. They had to go in through a toilet inside of the house. They left mud all over my bathroom. I’ve never had a contractor come to my house and not clean up after themselves. After leaving a review they replied asking for pictures. As soon as I saw the mud, I mopped it up as I assume anyone with common sense would so mud isn’t just sitting on the floor. Left my review after I mopped. Surprisingly the concept of how mud is made is above their way of thinking. After being in the dirt in our yard all morning, and reinstalling the toilet, it mixed with water they got everywhere creating mud. They also left a soaked towel laying on the floor. Here are a couple pictures of the floor they walked through to get to the bathroom, with DIRTY BOOTS. Along with a picture of the towel they left on my floor which I threw in the bathtub in order to mop really quick. We never walk with shoes on in our house nor do any of us wear boots. Disappointing that they would reply the way they did instead of apologizing. Added photos of their newest response. The owner of the home has a tenant downstairs. Me. It was my bathroom that was muddied up and my floors in my apartment that had dirt tracked through them. Sure, he’s the man that handed the check to this company that can’t seem to take responsibility or even apologize, but he’s not the person that was inconvenienced by this contractor that doesn’t know how to clean up after themselves. And as for the other owner of the house being happy, that tune changed very quickly at 7pm last night when he claimed he spoke to this company again, and was told they wouldn’t do business with him anymore due to my honest review of their mess they left behind.

I highly recommend this company when I tell you they are life savers I mean it. This past week we had a tornado/storm pass through most of NWI. My mother and I were without power from 10:30pm until 10:30am the following day. I was recommended this company by someone off the ring neighborhood app and I saw on here they were 24 hours I had my mom call while we kept trying to not let the basement flood all night from 10:30pm until about some time after 5am. David came out and was our life saver. My mom isn’t as young as she used to be and I have currently a lot of health issues going on. Long story short he was able to help us and installed a new and much better sub pump and a back up battery generator for us at a reasonable price. We thank you guys so much for helping us out from the bottom of our hearts. You guys made me feel like there really are still kind hearted people out there that are still like how “community” use to be.

First off I want to point out today is Sunday of all days and of course our Old Hot Water Heater had to take a crap on the weekend of all days! I called several places before finding Dave at Chalmers Plumbing. I explained to him our situation, sent him some pictures amd within minutes he quoted me a price over the phone! Which some of the other places were not willing to do. His price beat the local competitors from the ones that did give a price, by $800! He was here within two hours and we now have an efficient Brand New Hot Water Heater and he saved us from having to call off work tomorrow to do it! Thank you Dave for saving the day! We will definitely be utilizing you for any future plumbing needs!! We highly recommend Dave for your plumbing needs!

Last April I wrote a review on the site where I found this business (don't recall), but my daughter was explaining about writing a Google review, so I decided to do so in the expectation that more people would see it. I cannot give more kudos for the service, price, and just everything! He did the job of clearing a drain, and it seemed fine. Ran lots of water to make sure and all seemed good. A couple of days later it stopped up again. He came back (and it was on a Sunday afternoon!), fixed it (yes, been fine now ever since) and would not take anything additional, even though I offered! He said that he considered it part of the original for which I had paid. Integrity. Don't see often enough nowadays, but Matt certainly has it. Great job!

Dave was able to come out the next morning, and pricing beat everyone else. He was able to give us a quote for something we were wondering about, and that was also cheaper than other companies. Bonus: we have a very involved 5 year old, and Dave was wonderful with him. Most people get annoyed easily, but he was very polite and spoke to our 5 year old about everything he was doing. *** He was also the first person to actually be polite on the phone when I first spoke with him. We were only looking for a camera for a pipe issue and the other companies seemed to think it would take several hours equalling up to over hundreds of dollars.

Quite happy with Chalmers! I used the messaging service through google and left a message stating that I needed my sewer line cleared of roots that clog my line every approximately 5 years. They promptly messaged back within minutes, gave me a good quote and replied when they could get to it, which for me was only a couple hours after messaging them! If that wasn’t enough, I was at work and they were able to contact me and handle the job without me being there. (I had clean out accessible and someone at house to run water for them.) In all, great experience, would definitely recommend and use in the future!

My parents are in Indiana, and I currently live in Utah. It was easy working with their team to get a quote and the installation work done. The pricing was fair with other companies I received bids from. He gave me a number over the phone, but did not write down a formal estimate. Even 7 weeks after the verbal estimate was given, he honored his word. No games, which was much appreciated! Though I did not work with him directly, my parents said the job was done efficiently and the people that showed up were nice/professional. I would recommend them and intend to work with them in the future.

Called at 1:00 a.m. when my sump pump check valve failed. All the snow was melting filling the sump well. He returned the call quickly and was at my house in 20 minutes. Had the parts he needed on his truck. Replaced the sump check valve with a "no knock" valve. It's fixed and completely silent. And yes, this all took place at 1:00 a.m. on a Monday. We all know this stuff doesn't happen in the middle of the afternoon, so it's good to know there's a plumber I can call in the middle of the night!

Chalmers Plumbing did an amazing job. Everyone listed above his name on the internet were booked until Wednesday & Thursday. The owner of the company came out on a SUNDAY & didn’t charge any extra for a Sunday! He was quick, professional, and knowledgeable about what exactly the problem was. Also, I have a 6 month warranty (sewer/tree roots) if anything else happens he will come out for free to rectify the issue. Let’s just say I’m saving them in my contacts. ❤️

CALLED CHARMERS PLUMBING OUT ON A SUNDAY.. THEY SENT DAVE OUT AND HE CAME WITHIN A COUPLE OF HOURS BECAUSE HE WAS ON A JOB..DAVE FOUND AND FIXED THE PROBLEM VERY QUICKLY AND REPLACED THE SUM PUMP. DAVE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ANSWERED ALL QUESTIONS .I WOULD RECOMMEND CHALMERS TO ANYONE NEEDS A PROFESSIONAL AND HONEST PLUMBER WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND DOES GREAT WORK..LIKE ALL OF THESE REVIEWS YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.THIS IS MY NEW GO TO PLUMBER..
