I had a clogged toilet and called this morning since it is my only one. Cathy called right back and a service technician was at my house within 15 min. He was there about 10 minutes and I'm back in business!

Jimmy and his associate were very helpful and got the job done quick and efficiently. Would recommend to anyone for plumbing needs. They were able to get people over in a timely manner and they were great about explaining and getting the problem solved quickly. Thank you for the great work would use them again.

Hands down best plumber in Wadsworth! Professional, experienced and very fair pricing. They just replaced all our PVC with PEX and I was pleased they used a brand that was white instead of the red/blue. Love supporting local businesses and this one is a gem! Respectful and treated us the way a good neighbor should.

they were recommended to me by staff at home depot. Was remodeling the bath of a house I bought that was a mess. Cathy came and gave me a quote on doing the plumbing work. I accepted her quote and moved forward. When they came to do the work the staff had to leave at noon for a family issue (per my carpenter) and did not return that day. The following morning they returned and completed the work. When bill arrived I was billed for the afternoon he did not work. I disputed the additional, allowed a portion of the bill. Now a year later their work has created a leak in my basement due to their poor quality work. AVOID THIS COMPANY ITS A TOTAL RIPOFF

We chose Cathy Geary because of her local reputation and great prices. Her company was hired to rough in the plumbing for a full kitchen and bath in our basement. This is an extremely long story so I will cut to the chase. Bottom line, we came home after the work was completed and we had to evacuate our family from the home ( as per Dominion East Ohio Gas) due to a major gas leak and a flooded basement. To add injury to insult, they had only completed 75% of the work, but charged us for 100% of the quote. Cathy also verbally promised us a discount for flooding our basement, and nearly blowing up our home and killing my entire family. But we have never heard from her since. Terrible workmanship from Greg and terrible business ethics from Cathy. STEER CLEAR!!!!

We too heard good things about Cathy but not this time - we had a 75 gallon hot water tank that needed replaced. Cathy convinced us that a 40 gallon would work since our four children moved out and now was just my wife and I. The installion tech questioned the 40 gallon purchase but we are happy with the 40 gallon especially since the recovery time is better and more efficient. So why the one star? Cathy knew we had the 75 gal that had to be removed and we agreed to an extra $40.00 charge to remove it. After the install the tech said he couldn't remove the old one because it would take two men and our steps had a left hand turn at the bottom. We called Cathy and her suggestion was giving us the name of a scrap metal hauler, he never called us back. We left Cathy a message with no return call. I finally went on line to find out how to cut a hot water tank in half. Two hours later my wife and I took the halves up the steps and to the dump. I sent Cathy a letter about my dissatisfaction with NO response. BTW, we have well water with a softer that causes a rothen egg smell from the anode. I knew the fix, remove the anode but I had to be out of town so we called Cathy. The tech cut the anode for a $100.00+ charge. We still had a slight rotten egg smell - the tech didn't cut the anode short enough as a half inch was still in the water. I removed it and installed an electric anode. The smell is gone, the 75 gal tank removed with NO help from Cathy. Totally dissatisfied, Charlie Martin

I purchased my home 5 years ago in Wadsworth. I have used Cathy Geary Plumbing to install a waterline to my fridge, gas line in my home, and other misc plumbing fixes around the house. The work is ALWAYS quality, done well and so far never leaks. Jimmy one of her workers is also very courteous, punctual, helpful, willing to answer questions, explain things, and even will fix things you have called them for in a manner that will address other issues that he see's coming if it impacts the work he is already doing. i.e., he was fixing a leak for me and saw two more about to happen that were in line with what he was fixing, so he adjusted his initial plan to make sure those were addressed as well (AND WITH NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE).. I did Construction myself for 15 years and Cathy and her team have always been some of the hard-to-find honest hard working folks out there. Plumbing was never my forte and Cathy is my go-to when I need plumbing done. Thank you, Cathy and Team, for always doing me right! I have seen some negative reviews on here and my guess is everyone had a bad day now and again, but the reviews I have seen have not been my experience and if they ever were or are I will share, but Cathy and her whole team have bent over backwards and always came through for me even in a pinch...

I called to have a bathroom sink pipe connected to the wall drain. They promptly got back to me with their pricing, which was very competitive with two others that I contacted (and about 3 others that never replied in any form!). The appointment was within a few days of my call, which was nice. The person arrived and introduced himself in a friendly way. He took a look at the sink and told me what needed to be done. It was actually a bit more complex then the norm because the wall drain was higher than it should have been. He completed the work expeditiously and showed/explained what he did. The piping was 1st rate and has held-up perfectly (nine days after). I waited for a solid week to ensure that everything was fine, so I could include that in the review. This company is now my "go to" plumbing provider.

Upside: They responded to my call quickly and fixed the problem within a day. The plumber was very friendly and helpful. That was great. Downside: They left a disaster. I had to clean and scrub the entire site, including the floor, afterwards. Also, they automatically charge a service call fee of $70 that IS NOT waived when labor is needed. To clarify, that's $70 just to come out and then $70 per hour labor on top of that. It's been my experience that service call fees are waived when the result of the visit is labor. But that's not the case with Cathy Geary Plumbing.

Randy was great! Cathy, not so much! Randy took my leaking Kohler faucet to order a part to repair or replace. After 2 weeks not hearing anything, I called. Cathy said they don't do that. Imagine not making a call to Kohler to satisfy a long time customer! Hmmm, a plumber who doesn't do plumber stuff? I told her to return my faucet and I found another service that was all to happy to assist the very same day! Now I have a new plumbing service.

The old women that do the phone calls and appts are so unprofessional and rude. I've been hung up on twice, they can't seem to communicate and forgets that they made appts. If that's where this buisiness starts, I don't see how they get any business. Unreal. Jimmy came and did the work and wow! What a nice guy. Hard to believe he works for this place. Thank you Jimmy.

Just had Jimmy, one of the Cathy Geary Plumbing technicians here; he arrived promptly and was knowledgeable, friendly, and fixed my drain within an hour! They were extremely busy today but they squeezed my appointment in - which I totally appreciate and Jimmy also recommended using the $10 coupon which I retrieved and saved $10! He earned a $20 tip for that!

Do not, I repeat do not have Cathy’s Plumbing do any work for you. She does not return calls. Absolutely refused to come and look at the backflow valve that was installed that was not working which her people installed at my home. Would not return my calls absolutely no return calls at all. Do not use this company. Very poor professionalism and work ethics.
