As a homeowner finding a reliable contractor is a task. My home HVAC needed to be replaced. I mean from top to bottom. Including the set lines. I found this company by asking AI Gemini. Long story short. They installed two Trane units with UV lights, new set lines which included a vacuum for overflow ( new to me). It was a big job. It literally took three days. But I know by watching and talking to the technicians that I got a great system. The amount of details during the install was amazing. I paid a lot of money for this, but honestly It was worthy. Great equipment, incredible installation and nice experience. Just so you know I verified all the equipment and prices using AI just to make sure I was getting value. And I did. If you are looking for an HVAC company, look no further.
David K with Carolina Conditions was fantastic during our HVAC survey. He was incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made sure all of our questions were answered. He really went above and beyond to make sure we understood our options and felt confident about the system. The whole experience was professional, helpful, and stress-free. I highly recommend Carolina Conditions to anyone needing HVAC services, and especially appreciate David’s outstanding customer service.
Carolina Conditions did an excellent job resolving my issues with my HVAC system. Allison was very fast to responding to my call and getting me on schedule for the same day. She was awesome! My heat had went out a day or two before I called and knew we had some very cold weather on the way. Mathew Carter was my technician and called to let me know that he was in the way and expected arrival time. He came in, found the problem to why my system wasn’t working and told me how much it would be and how long it would take to fix it. I was very happy with the quote he gave me and had my unit up and running within 45 mins. He also went through and informed me he looked at the rest of my system and that everything looked great so that was a big plus! From start to finish Mathew followed the process to a T! I will highly recommend Carolina Conditions to all my family and friends and will be using them in the future for my HVAC, plumbing and electrical needs!
I have never reviewed any other company but I feel I must warn people about this company. They did a terrible job at my home in Lexington, S.C. I had to have all the work redone by another company and it cost a lot of money. The county inspectors, Dominion Energy and two master electricians from other companies looked at their work and were shocked at the poor workmanship. They left the outside meter box in an unsafe condition with exposed wires and dangling master on/off switch. They used the wrong wiring and the wrong sized breaker in the inside breaker boxes. They destroyed every surge protector in the house as well as several appliances. They offered to fix some of it, but after seeing the quality of their work, I was not willing to trust them again. They were also way too dismissive of the scope of the problems they had caused; arguing that it wasn't going to require much to fix things. I felt like they focused on the need to avoid costs of repair rather than how to make things right in what was clearly a major screw up by a new employee who was way in over his head on this job. Add to all this, they said they would compensate me for some of the cost of fixing their mess and I never saw a cent. The company may be okay for HVAC work but I sure don't recommend them for electrical work.
Russell came out to give me an estimate for a new water line. He was very informative and friendly, and they also beat the estimate I’d received that day from Cassell Bros. It took a few days to schedule (mostly due to the utility company taking so long to mark out buried gas lines) but they communicated with me the whole time. Russell and David replaced my water line to the street in about 5 hours, and did a great job. They filled in the hole very nicely and even laid grass seed down over the trench! Had an excellent experience. (Photos of standing water from leak, the trench that was dug, and how things looked after.
