Andrew and his teammate at Canyon Plumbing & Heating were fantastic. They were extremely friendly, polite, and professional from start to finish. I had a plumbing leak issue, and they responded quickly and fixed it efficiently. Everything was explained clearly, and the whole experience was smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend Andrew and Canyon Plumbing & Heating—trustworthy service and great people to work with!
Wonderful experience with Canyon Plumbing & Heating!!! Spoken to the owner, Dan, when I called, he was very thorough and took time to understand what my concerns were. He got a technician, Danny, out the next day. The reminders and promptness of Danny were very professional. Danny addressed my toilet leak and was helpful in explaining what the problem was. Excellent company!
Outstanding service on Christmas Eve! When our hot water heater in our guest house went out while my in-laws were visiting from out-of-state, Andrew and Daniel from Canyon came within 24 hours and fixed the problem quickly without charging an emergency rate. We also used them to replace our tankless hot water heater and they did an amazing job at a reasonable price. We cannot recommend them highly enough and they've earned a customer for life!
Super overpriced and playing the "tariff tax" card. $1000 to fix a small component on a water heater. Met with another plumber who did the same job for $200. Shouldve gone somewhere else...
Beware home owners about predatory pricing with this company and get a second opinion!
[April 2025 Update] We've had good luck with Canyon in the past, but my last couple experiences with them weren't the best. We called them out to unplug a tub drain. They finished in 10min for $385, but broke the overflow cap. I had to follow up with them several times to get a quote to fix that. They quoted me $583 to replace the tub cap that they broke. We went with Planet Plumbing for $280. We also needed a water heater replacement. Canyon gave us a price of $5500 for a power vent WH replacement. We got 3 quotes and Canyon was the lowest price for this type of water heater, so we went with them. In addition to the WH, the quote included a drain pan, gas shutoff valve, thermal expansion tank. These were not installed. I would have let it slide, but the plumber installed the PVC blower vent crooked and when asked to fix it, just tightened the connection. They refunded me $285 for materials and labor for the 3 items that were not installed, but wouldn't correct the PVC vent installation - Note: they did offer to come back and install another hanger, but that thing isn't moving; it was glued about 15 degrees off center. We will have the new WH flushed next year by Planet and have them fix the install issues i.e. vent piping, drain pan, drain line, new SOV etc. As stated, we've had good luck with Canyon in the past, but their craftmanship and customer service did not meet our expectations in April 2025. We do not plan to use them again. [Previous] I've used these guys a few times. Very responsive, very professional and knowledgeable. Gave me some options and were not pushy. I would use them again.
I am so glad I found Canyon Plumbing & Heating! Before them, my plumber experiences were extremely hit or miss (“we don’t really know what the problem is, but we’re going to charge you anyway.”) CPH feels like the exact opposite of that: they seem deeply experienced with just about EVERYTHING and offer multiple options, scenarios, and practical advice about future maintenance without ever seeming like they’re pushing products or systems. Andrew was great about explaining the ins & outs of reverse osmosis vs. Halo 5 water filtration systems. And Amanda who did my installation is an absolute WIZARD. She untangled a wacky home-grown jet pump the previous owner cobbled together (mystery pipes everywhere); spent time making sure I was happy with how the new system would be configured in my limited space (wrangling seriously heavy equipment in the process); and was just kind, professional, and patient through the many-hour installation (making sure I had minimum disruption to water, answering all my questions etc.) While Amanda was there, she was also super helpful with addressing my other random plumbing issues, offering options and just going above and beyond from a service (and general cool human being) perspective. I would absolutely recommend her for any plumbing or heating project for her attention to detail and depth of experience.
We recently had some plumbing issues and worked with Amanda at Canyon Plumbing, and she was absolutely outstanding. From the start, Amanda was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. She took the time to listen to our concerns, explain our options clearly, and make sure everything was handled smoothly from start to finish. Her communication was excellent — she kept us updated throughout the process and made what could have been a stressful situation so much easier. Thanks to her, our plumbing issues were resolved quickly and correctly. We’re really grateful for her expertise and customer service. Canyon Plumbing is lucky to have her, and we’ll definitely call again in the future because of the great experience she provided!
We called Canyon Plumbing and Heating in the afternoon for what we thought was a routine back-up that left a puddle around the floor drain in the basement. It was found to be more serious. The next day they diagnosed it as the collapse of some very old cast iron pipe under the concrete basement floor. Bottom Line: No showers or toilets! The next day (day 3), they were at work early, and by the end of the day they had excavated to basement floor and had replaced the pipe so we could have our house back! By the afternoon of day 4, the basement floor was re-done. The personnel were clean, respectful and professional from beginning to end. We have nothing negative to say about this company and their people.
I called for a sewer scope and the lady who answered the phone told me she wasn’t sure about the price because she was new. She said we will charge 125 service fee and they can let me know how much it would cost at the job site. I told her this is only a sewer scope no repair needed to clarify. On the day of the service they gave me an 11-1 window. I was waited 11 to 2:00 pm and when they finally showed up they were trying to charge $550.00 for a sewer scope. I told the technician usually in Denver the cost is 175-200. He said Boulder is a different market. I got a local company from Boulder to do the sewer scope for $100 with a video. Showed up on time etc. This company is a rip off.
Amanda provided exceptional service from start to finish. For the swamp cooler replacement, Amanda offered two quotes on the spot, including an excellent deal on a unit already in inventory. During the installation, the hot water heater failed unexpectedly, and Amanda quickly supplied three price options and completed the replacement the same day. Every step of the process was clearly explained, and the workmanship on both the swamp cooler and hot water heater installations was excellent. Working with Amanda was one of the best experiences with an HVAC company in a long time. Highly recommended Amanda and Canyon Plumbing & Heating.
I can't recommend Canyon enough. We had water back up in the basement, so we asked that they come out and scope the lines. Graham arrived and suggested he first check the septic. He did and he found that that is likely the issue. He offered a referral for septic pumping and tips for disinfecting the floor and he didn't charge us a penny for it. This is our third time working with Canyon and every time we have, they've been very responsive, their work has been quality, thorough and professional and they've provided great customer service. Thank you Graham and Canyon Plumbing & Heating!
On time and thorough analysis of a boiler. Update on 3/11/25: This was a 5 star review but it was changed to 2 stars once I started dealing with Canyon Plumbing's back office. Unfortunately, the on-site service was where the fast and efficient processes with Canyon Plumbing ended. It took them 4 days to send out an invoice and they won't send an estimate for work until after the invoice is paid. Apparently, they won't even fix the leak they created until they send out the estimates. It's too bad that such good field service is compromised by poor back-office processes.
Our service person, Amanda, was prompt, professional, thorough and knowledgable. She analyzed our water system issues, provided an explanation of each, suggested options , and provided estimates and opinions when asked. Once decisions were made, Amanda ordered the parts, confirmed the schedule, and then appeared on time and accomplished the tasks! I was provided with manuals, model/serial #’s, pictures, and an explanation of each. So …. the entire project was perfect. No complaints. And so nice to work with the same person throughout the entire effort👍
Amanda (who did most of the work) and Jaron are terrific. I had my bathroom renovated, and it was a challenging job. The space they had to work in is extremely tight, and the guys who did the work previously were careless and/or not very good. Amanda had a leak and plugged drain, as well as space constraints and old plumbing to contend with. It’s great that Canyon has a young female master plumber on staff. There aren’t many of those around. They cleaned up everything, came when they said they would, and as an added bonus, are both really nice people.
