Calvert Plumbing and Backflow Services

We use Calvert plumbing for backflow testing yearly for a very responsible price! We were admittedly late this year. Since we had already winterized our outdoor sprinkler, it was recommended to call the county & request for rescheduling to synchronize our due dates at the expense of the company. They could’ve gotten $$ out of us now & again in the early summer when it’s due but instead looked up the number for the county office & told me what to say to get the schedule changed. The lady in the county office was so sweet & understanding too! This is top notch customer service & we were already returning customers. I definitely recommend Calvert Plumbing & Backflow!

Outstanding customer service! I called to schedule a backflow inspection. I was scheduled for service the same day and the report/results were filed with the county the same day as well. Jason and the technician were extremely friendly. This was my third year using this company and i will definitely be using them again. Highly recommend their services!!

Actually, this is my second experience using Calvert Plumbing. On both occasions, it was a positive experience. Jason and Zach are professional and courteous and the work was performed efficiently and to my satisfaction. I will definitely use Calvert Plumbing in the future and will refer family and friends. After a horrifying experience with a sewer line backing up into the house, we contacted big-name plumbing company. They seemed like aggressive sales-people rather than anything else. They only gave me 1 and only 1 option which would cost about as much as a new car. So we found Calvert Plumbing and Backflow Services online. I called the number and actually spoke directly to Jason, the owner of the company. Within a couple of days, he sent out Jeremy and Kyle who did everything they could for us (they were also really good with my dogs!). They were able to show me what the problem was and discuss different options available to get us back in working order (the sewer line had to be replaced due to alllllll the tree roots). Jason and Jeremy came back out to do the actual sewer line replacement. They were very thorough in explaining what was going on and even took pictures of inside the part of the line that goes under the street - also with alllllll the tree roots. They were a big-time life saver and fixed the problem on our end! All in all, Calvert Plumbing and Backflow was very professional, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and affordable. I would highly recommend them and would contact them again in the future for plumbing issues.

I cannot recommend Calvert Plumbing and Backflow strong enough. Came home from vacation and found water leaking from ceiling. I Traced it back to a clogged condensation pipe. I attempted to try a DIY approach to clear the line but to no avail. Topping it off, I was scheduled for surgical procedure the next day. I called Jason (of Calvert) and explained the situation and although he couldn't get anyone out that night he did say he would rearrange his schedule to accommodate my issue the next afternoon. As promised, one of his employees (Ryan) showed up and within 10 mins was able diagnose the problem and cleared the blockage. Ryan was very polite and knowledgeable about what needed to be done and he make some great recommendations on future work without trying to up-sell any specific services or products. Again, if you need plumbing services, look very hard at Calvert. I know I will for any future work.

I have had Calvert Plumbing and Backflow Services help me with 3 plumbing issues over the last couple of months. The first was a very concerning leak in my dining room ceiling that was coming from my master bath tub. It took quite a bit of investigation to figure out where the leak was originating and Jason put a lot of effort into finding and fixing it. Then just recently my garbage disposal broke. I contacted Jason and he came out the next day, installed a new garbage disposal AND also installed a new faucet that I provided. He didn't anticipate installing the faucet too but graciously did so. Jason is friendly, helpful, extremely competent and exudes a vibe of trustworthiness and humor that eludes most plumbers. Call him and you will be very happy with this company; they really have "broken the mold" of what you can typically expect from your average tradesman.

Just had a good quality toilet installed at a great price. We are so pleased with the communication, workmanship, and cost of the job. Highly recommend. Jason was booked to install a new battery backup sump pump and perform a backflow prevention test. Although he encountered some bad luck (sump pump kit missing, but he went to pick up another one, and then...flat tire as he was arriving here), he was very communicative about his situation, and was able to reschedule in good time. Once here, he was very professional, explained everything that he was doing, and completed his work in about an hour. Additionally, there happened to be some water in our water heater pan, and Jason immediately identified that the water heater (only 2 years old) is broken and needs to be replaced under its warranty. Jason will help us deal with the warranty exchange, and he will also help us install the replacement. Thank you for your service!

This review is long overdue but My home is a new build, which at the time required a backflow test, which me and my sister were unaware about. We found Jason and booked him expeditiously. The booking process was seem less. He was extremely responsive to text and scheduled an appointment within minutes. Because of his timeliness, knowledge, impeccable customer service, pricing even his humor and how kind he was me and my sister booked him again to do descaling of our water heater. As expected, he was on time, professional & provided me with a walk through step by step I may add of how I could do the descaling my self if I even choose to. Even though me and my sister have full intention of hiring him again. Thanks again Jason! You are always a great help.

The gentlemen who came to perform our backflow prevention test and descale our water heater were so professional and kind. They were knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything. While they were waiting for the descaling to finish, I happened to have a car seat delivered. When they came back in after the hour mark for the descaling, they were kind enough to bring in the box for me since I would not have been able to do that being so far along in my pregnancy. I didn't even ask for them to do that so they went above and beyond for that act of kindness. I will definitely use Calvert Plumbing again!

Jason was wonderful! We've had a slow draining kitchen sink for a few weeks now, it finally got to the point where we needed some help. I called Jason on a Wednesday afternoon and he was able to fit me in for an estimate on Friday morning. Jason was on time, professional, and had all the materials on hand to resolve the issue right away! He even gave me some tips and tricks on how to avoid this in the future, which I greatly appreciated. He was also dog friendly, which is always a plus when you have a dog who is interested in everything and every one! I highly recommend Jason and his business!

I have contacted Calvert Plumbing & Backflow Services to complete our backflow tests for a few years now and the service does not disappoint. When completing the backflow tests recently, his team noticed an issue with a pipe and easily explained the process on how it can be fixed. The service/repair costs are reasonable compared to others. His team was on time, professional and knowledgeable. Even when speaking directly to Jason, he is always friendly and professional. Always working to get you scheduled as quickly as possible. Jason completed the required Backflow Testing and Certification for Anne Arundel County. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained why the county requires the test and the importance of testing to make sure the system is ready for service. Really appreciated the information he provided on how the fire suppression system works. Would recommend him to anyone who needs the Backflow test performed. He will also be my first call for plumbing needs in the future because of his professional and courteous attitude. Thank you, Jason!

Typically, I don’t leave reviews but Jason is the type of guy that you have to get on here and appreciate. He was very informative, showed me everything, and even had some recommendations that I could do to service my tankless water heater on my own or he said I could call him and he’d help me out. That’s the type of service that will keep you in business for a very long time. Stop looking, Call Jason and let him take care of you. Plus he’s very reasonable on price!
