As a first time home buyer in stow our house is on a slab and our biggest fear was the plumbing. The house was foreclosed and 'as is' when we bought it. Right away, every sink was clogged, badly. I looked around online and called a few places but when I called C.Lee plumbing just how nice Chris was towards me alone is why he was who we used for his services. Being younger and a new homebuyer we have had so many contractors treat us, to be blunt, like we are idiots. We never had to worry about this with C.Lee. I was concerned based off previous reviews about their pricing and yes I'm sure I could have found another plumber for cheaper but you get what you pay for! In our case, amazing service, great personality and respect! Our first service required over 50ft of snake into our main. Our kitchen sink and utility sink have been running clear for over a year now and then recently we had both our bathroom sinks snaked and those as well are working great now both serviced by Taylor. Today Chris came over to replace our hot water tank which initiated me to write a review. Great great guys! They have always made us feel comfortable and reassured. They talked to me, not at me and we even chatted about family! So yes I highly recommend, if you want someone trustworthy then here you go! They are saved in my phone and I know they will always be here to help and the one year warranty is a great plus :)
Chris Lee is FANTASTIC!!! I have had his company perform work several times for me on faucets, garbage disposals, outside spigots, and toilets. He is top-notch and very professional. His services are not cheap, but you get what you pay for when it comes to plumbing, and I have never had any problems with his work afterward, whereas in the past when I have gone with the cheaper plumbers, the work was sub-par at best.
Very happy with the services provided by C. Lee Plumbing. It's taken a few trial and errors with other plumbers, but think I have finally found a reliable/reasonable plumber in the area. Planning on both using and recommending for future jobs. Thanks guys!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! In May of this year, I was referred to C Lee Plumbing Services by Home Builder. I contacted them because water was overflowing from my 2nd Floor to my 1st Floor. Some on came out on May 28th and informed me that my branch line was clogged. I was charged 285.64 to clear this line in my basement. Once this service was provided I was told that their is a 1-year guarantee on service provided. Earlier this week I contacted C Lee Plumbing Services again because I could see that this line was clogged again and I requested that someone come out and unclog the same branch drain as before. On 12.11.19 Taylor Lee came out , looked at the problem and stated that the branch drain was not the issue. He continued to state the issue was actually from the Main Drain and quoted 415.00 to clear the main drain. I declined the service and paid 59.00 for the service call. Taking this information I shopped around and found another Plumbing company to clear the main line because this is what Taylor Lee from C Lee Plumbing Services stated was needed. I contacted Sal's Heating and Cooling to clear my main drain line. Sal's Heating and Cooling sent some one out the next day. After snaking the main line drain they informed me that this was not the issue. They then proceed to investigate the issue more an found that the issue was the branch drain ( that should have been covered by my one year guarantee from C Lee Plumbing Services) and not the main drain. Sal's Heating and Cooling promptly cleared the branch line and provided an invoice that said, "Snaked the main sewer ran snake all the way out. Still holding after in the floor sink. Found secondarycleanout located in addition. Snaked from there as well and opened up the sewer. Recommended to the customer if problem continues to snake and camera. At this point seems to be soft blockage. Maybe at wye." I sent this information to C Lee Plumbing Services and was told that Sal's Heating and Cooling did not perform the Services that they stated on the invoice that they did. I was told by the Office Manager that I was being dishonest and was told that they would need someone from Sal's Heating and Cooling needed to call them. I do not know why this came up. I am not sure if it was because of a personal physical discrepancy or what. They would not call the other company. I called Sal's Heating and Cooling and they stated that as a policy they do not call other plumbing companies but agreed that they put what happened on the invoice. In summary my issue is that over the last two days 371.12 in funds have been allocated to a service from Sal's Heating and Cooling that I was told was guaranteed for one year at no additional charge by C Lee Plumbing Services.
So the plumber that came out was very nice and very knowledgeable and yes he quoted me the price for tightening my toilet and adjust the guts on my other toilet assuming he would fix the issues. So total work done was adjust the handle and fill rate on 2 toilets and tighten down 1 toilet total cost was 265.00 and my one toilet is still not flushing properly and was told to replace the toilet so isn't any better then it was but still charged full price. Would not recommend. Also quoted me 598 to replace toilet so I went to Lowes found one of the toilets he quoted me and payed 215 for it ad installed myself which is what i should have just done in first place.
I called these guys as a backup because Kline & Kavali who we normally use could not come out the date I needed. Kline & Kavali gave me an estimate of 115 an hour and then divide that by four for every 15 minutes. C Lee Would not give me an estimate over the phone. Also there was no charge for estimate. ( I see other people they charged to come out & then gave a high estimate ) I figured it was worth a shot. I needed a kitchen faucet removed, and new touchless faucet installed. I also needed a half bath faucet remove removed. These two goofballs said they needed to go out and write up an estimate…20 min later… They come in the house and tell me that it’s gonna take a couple of hours ( which I knew ) Then told me it was going to be $800.00 . OUTRAGEOUS! Also, it was a delta touchless faucet that did have some plastic parts… They told me they would not warranty the labor because of it Before they gave me the estimate. I told them that’s fine. I wasn’t going to have them back anyway after that I knew Delta would cover the warranty. I Told them LEAVE NOW!! I decided to wait for Kline & Kavali the next following Monday. It was well worth it. They charged $273.65 I waited until I received my bill so I could submit a snapshot from Kline & Kavali. I would never use these idiots. Bad business. I later mentioned the story to someone that I work for and he mentioned he is suing them. Unbelievably bad business and I don’t write reviews, but I’m making sure this one gets in. Use Kline & Kavali.
C. Lee Plumbing is a great company. I got in touch with them through a contractor service called Home Advisor. Here's my story: I recently had bought a Whirlpool water heater (first mistake.) About a month after installation, the pilot kept going out, and the safety valve on the thermopyle failed. I called Whirlpool, they were less than helpful. I called C. Lee Plumbing after that, and explained my situation. He called Whirlpool, got the part replaced via warranty (I can only imagine the frustration dealing with the Whirlpool folks and their "understanding" customer service) and had it shipped next day to me. Within only 2 hours of getting the parts, Justin from C. Lee Plumbing was here. He installed the new thermopyle, blew out the lines, cleaned the pilot, removed some condensation...all in about 20 minutes. He was very professional, pleasant, and actually talked to us like we were people, not just idiot customers...which seems to be the standard in the industry. For emergency service, he was very reasonable with price, and was willing to negotiate it down a bit. They even guaranteed the work for a year! I will recommend these guys to EVERYONE that needs plumbing issues resolved.
CHARGED ME $150 PER HOUR FOR NON-PLUMBING WORK A retired fireman working for Lee Services spent about two hours installing a 1"x2" wood brace in the top of each of four kitchen cabinets. I was aghast when Lee Services billed us $340 for that work. My fault not getting a quote - just never expected he would claim that $150 per hour is his standard fee and that nobody else would charge less. Responding to my phone complaint, he said people do not understand business men's costs and overhead. I told him that I'm in the staffing business and fully understand labor costs but charging $150 an hour is outrageous. I'd be very surprised if he's paying any employee that much per hour with a reasonable mark-up to work on cabinets. At the end, he said, "I'll take no less than $240" and something about losing money on the job. I said, "I'll pay you $240 and that will be the last time we ever do business."
This is a very expensive plumbing services. I regretted very much for calling them to fix my drainage problem. For the price of $350 and reduced to $325 because I ask for a discount, the problem was still there after the following day, so I have to call another company to fix the problem and it turned out that the other company charged me only $165 for doing the same job. One more thing, C Lee Plumbing told me that the plumbing needs to be replaced because it was broken and quoted me an unbelievably high price of $2,200 including the $325 job...thanks goodness I did not agree and it turned out that the 2nd plumber who went the following day told me that the pipe is still fine. When I called to complain, C Lee Plumbing told me that I would get a refund of $325 but after 4 days of waiting no refund showed on my credit card account. Never again will I do business with C. Lee Plumbing Services.
In response to Chris Lee's response to my original review! The reason for running the camera twice is because they did not do the video recording in the first place at the second service call. I do have all the receipts to show what we were charged and paid for, one being a video recording of the drain. So they did nothing more than what we paid for them to do originally. I also sent photos of the freezer position in relation to the outlet used to snake the drain, also the position of the freezer that was unplugged and not plugged back in as they requested. I sent an email with all of this information but I never got a response to my email. So all being said take the response from C Lee to my honest review with a grain of salt as their response is just not true! Proceed with caution if you need service from this business!
I was able to schedule an appointment quickly. The technician Tim was on-time, courteous , and provided options to help reduce the cost. The job involved replacing an older Moen shower system with a new Moen digital smart shower. Both technicians were great and took extra time and effort in removing wall tiles so that I can reuse most of the pieces (of course the tile is no longer available). They did a good job with cleanup and packing the tiles and other materials. Overall the job was about half of the estimated cost, and by diagnosing and fixing the jetted tub, they saved me more than $10k that it would have cost to remove and replace it. I couldn't be more pleased and I highly recommend giving them a call.
Don't use this company. They charge unbelievably high labor costs. $385 to install a kitchen faucet that took less than an hour to install. They first told me over the phone that they would charge $59 to come out and that they would take that off of the cost of the job if they were selected. They took a week to come out, then when they did, the technician gave me an estimate of over $1400 to install 4 faucets. I said really? Why so much? He said it's the cost of doing business. I then said just do the kitchen faucet since it is of urgent need to replace (it was falling apart). I called the owner after the job was done and he was rude and bully like. No regrets of his higher than the sky labor costs.
We just moved into our new home and desperately needed someone to fix our washing machine valves and run a gas leak check. Chris and Harrison from C Lee Plumbing Services were absolutely fantastic! Not only did they do a great, thorough job addressing the valves and ensuring our gas lines were safe and leak-free, but they were also incredibly accommodating with our schedule. Moving is stressful enough as it is, so having them work with us to get this on the books quickly was a massive lifesaver. Professional, efficient, and highly accommodating—we couldn’t be happier with the service. Highly recommend Chris, Harrison, and the C Lee Plumbing team!

Unbelievably pricey He would not give an estimate on standard jobs over the phone.. I needed a new insert on a dripping faucet, and new "guts" installed in a toilet. He charged 265.00. My guess after pricing these parts is that he made 210.00 profit on a 20 minute visit. He could tell I was stunned and said "Well, i'll give you a 35.00 special internet discount"..but when he wrote up my invoice, he had only taken 25.00 off. The plumber said, "Well, i never advertised myself as a budget plumber"..That's fine, but 85.00 for a faucet insert? Really?
