Called about installing some dimmer switches for some recessed lighting. I was expecting to have to schedule someone 3 weeks out. I worked with Sarah on scheduling and had a technician show up the next day! Nick arrived on time, answered all our questions and finished the install within minutes. Very professional, very accommodating with schedules and very responsive. Highly recommend!
Great service, we had an exterior gas line leak. The technician showed up on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He had the job done in no time and it did an amazing. Will definitely use them again for future repair needs.
Called Brothers to fix an outdated pipe that had collapsed behind our washing machine. Justin, Nate, and Max were professional, punctual, and gave us a great price compared with other competitors in the area. Sarah was also great. She kept me in the loop throughout the process and worked around my schedule to help us get the issue fixed as quickly as possible. This is the second time I’ve called them, and both times they delivered the same level of expertise and white-glove service you hope for when you need repairs. I’d recommend them to anyone who doesn’t want to be price-gouged or pressured into fixing things that don’t actually need fixing. Easy 5 stars. highly recommend!
When they say they fixed the issue don't for a second believe it. We are having to call another company to fix the issue they said was fixed. Paid for and not our problem. Their after hours help hangs up the phone on you. Save your self some money and time and hassle. Just pray on your drain because they won't fix it and won't back up their work. Report them to the bbb I know we are and talking to our legal counsel on these people.
Wish I could leave zero stars. We're out 2 days ago. Said it's fixed same problem and water overflowing and they say well until your property company gives us another work order not our problem pretty much. I have owned rental houses and used plumbers many times to service those and these guys must have no clue.
The first time my husband hired a technician to have our garbage disposal removed more than a year ago, I did not realize he was from Brothers. Fast forward plenty of months and the cold season starts. Time to "fire" up your heater, except it doesn't. It seemed like our HVAC unit had a mind of its own and turned on only when it wanted to (for the heater portion anyway). After a couple days of this nonsense I told my husband to please, please call someone to get this fixed. He did and someone came out, checked the thermostat and just like that it cooperated and worked fine. I'm sure the technician thought we must be doozies. A couple of days later the heater quit completely and so hubby called them back up. Another technician came out and after a thorough check he informed us that the switch for the heater is broken and needs to be replaced. I wish I knew what reasonable pricing on such work and parts is, but I guess as long as it is affordable it is decent. He fixed it within an hour and we finally had the warm air flowing through the house as we needed to thaw ourselves up. Thank God we have two small portable heaters that kept us sane in the time our heater was on fiasco. I know they also offer a program or deal for a certain fee to have your unit checked quarterly and to cover minimal repairs/maintenance, but we cannot afford it at this time, otherwise it sounds like a good deal not to have to worry when some appliance in your house fails to deliver. Their technicians have always been polite and professional. The only thing I don't like is that there is a service dispatch fee of $50 that you have to pay for a technician to come out to your location; although sometimes, depending on the repair issue they will comp it. Overall, I'm satisfied with the service we have received from this company and plan on using them again.
Just to inform people about this company I spent thirty thousand dollars replacing three new AC units in the past two years the install was good .I hand a five ton unit not functioning properly that was cycling every fifteen seconds I called they sent a Technician out the next week was quite a long time I know some things about HVAC this was probably a capacitor issue the Tech diagnostic test showed the capacitor was borderline I told him to replace they charged $211.00 to replace a $69.00 dollar part .I understand the charge less than 24 hours later I now have two new AC system not working not coming on called at 9 PM they returned my call the next morning no problem they told me they would not come until 4PM . I explained that they were there less than 48 hours before and their shop is only ten minutes away from my home still would not send a Tech till 4pm .I ask don't you have a emergency Tech on call still reused to help I know it is something small to repair probably take less than fifteen minutes to repair.Still no help on the time.I explained I will not do business with them again if this is the service that a good customer gets dint seem to care .I told them to send a Tech at 4 PM since I already paid oh they were going to charge me another service call $169.00 I refused to pay so the lady acted like she was going to do me a favor and waive the service call remember I already paid this less than 48 hours before.This is terrible customer service I will never do business with this company again they didn't care very casual about it acted like no big deal even after I spent $30,000.00 be careful about these Brothers
These guys are AMAZING!! I'm new to the area and I just bought a house, which had a thermostat downstairs that powered down and I couldn't get it back on. I talked to the previous owner and we tried to troubleshoot it, but couldn't fix it so he told me to contact Brothers since they installed it. They were booked solid all week, but the receptionist was able to have someone stop by and look at it in between jobs. The guy remembered the house and did an inspection to be sure he knew what was going on this time. He was able to give me a short-term fix and explained what needed to be done and that he wasn't sure how long his fix would hold up -- I had a big problem that needed to be addressed. This first visit was FREE and he coordinated to have another manager talk to me about scheduling a permanent fix. When the second manager came out, the short-term fix already broke and he was willing to get parts and return to fix it for good. Remember: they were booked all week and I already had two managers look at my house and now they're fixing it! The job took the rest of the day, but I'm so thankful they stayed around to get it right. Their prices were VERY fair and they honored a quote they have the previous owner at this house. This is a highly professional company and I will ABSOLUTELY be working with them again. Tom & Bryan: thanks for all you guys did. You're the best!
A bathroom at my daughter's house had a hair clog in a corroded 1.5" galvanided waste line. Brothers used a combination of hand snake and mini-jet. The plumber and helper always had plastic booties on their feet in the house. The bathroom was very clean when they left. They were pleasant to talk to. They quickly assessed the situation, looked for options to fix, and recommend the repair. Their cost is very high. I have a house near San Francisco, and the cost is every bit as high as I would pay there. There is an overhead charge of $70. They call this 'dispatch fee', but it is money charged to cover business overhead. The mini-jet was an additional $475. I tried, but could not fix the problem myself, so $545 for experience and their tools. Other than cost, I have no reservations recommending the company. I'm torn on how to set the star rating. When you pay this much for a service, you should expect the positives I mentioned, so 3-stars (ok) would be fair. If the service was half the price, you wouldn't expect it to be as good, but if it was really good, you'd have to say 5-star (great for value). I'm splitting the difference - 4-star.
I have had mixed experiences with Brothers. I've been happy with the plumbing side of their business, however I had a disappointing turn of events with the repair of my furnace that had unexpectedly stopped working. Because we have a maintenance service program which covers plumbing, heat/AC and electric we called Brothers. The technician ran a microscopic camera through the inside of the furnace and pointed out signs of wear that could lead to CO leakage! (He never did any CO readings). Neither my husband nor I could really see what he was pointing out. We would need a new furnace and a crew just happened to be available the next day, and discussed payment. I've encountered a similar scenario with a different repairman on a different furnace many years ago. I got a second opinion from a reliable furnace repairman, and the issue was a cracked ignitor. It was easily replaced at very little cost.
Brothers Plumbing Air and Electric- if you had 10 STARS I'd give it to Brothers. First of all they are professional, prompt and know what they are doing. I had a water issue, NO one could fine the issue/solution. While it took Brothers awhile to determine the exact cause, they NEVER gave up. Brothers called in all their departments, the owner Tyler came out not once but numerous times to help with this project. Once the problem was determined, it was fixed quilts and the problem solved. I got the recommendation to use Brothers from one of the best/ most reputable plumbing supply company's in the upstate. PLEASE do not hesitate to use Brothers , I've used them numerous times. They are always on time, always professional and I have NO reason to use ANY other company. Mike, Tyler and the entire group are top notch. Carol G
Brothers was quick to come out for inspection and estimate and followed up with a quick install of an outdoor hose bib. Courteous service and better than expected results. I was so impressed with the company and employees, I signed up for their annual maintenance and inspection program, which they just performed our first Fall inspection. Still happy after their Spring inspection and service and now our second Fall inspection! After two years of excellent service from each Brothers' employee, I cannot recommend them more highly. A good choice for your home. 3rd year and they're still the best! You can't beat them for service and reliability. 4th year update. Still the reliable Plumbing, Air & Electric service we've come to depend on! 5th year and still a happy customer! Going on six years and still satisfied!!!
On one of the coldest nights anticipated on 02/23/2026, all three of my zone thermostats stopped working. Didn’t want to become a human popsicle, so I called Brothers after hours service line and the greatest technician, Jevoris arrived very promptly. And, was able to diagnose that the circuit board to my 3 zone thermostat system was BAD! After spending over about 2hrs, he fixed ALL issues related to this problem. He explained everything and took photos so I could understand all issues. I decided to sign up for the Service Contract due to these excellent repairs. And, will definitely request Jevoris to do all my Service Needs. Valerie was the dispatcher and kept me in the loop for my technicians arrival time. Highly recommend Brothers!!!!!
. First off, I received a confirmation call from Brothers 30 minutes before they were to be at my house letting me know that they would be on time, which I appreciated. I had Dana and an employee in training come to my house today to fix a poorly seated toilet and clogged sink. She was exactly on time, which I'm not sure I've experienced with a service contractor before, outside of one other experience with Brothers. Dana was incredibly professional and informative when explaining her diagnosis on the toilet and sink. She was in an out within 30 minutes and instantly we could instantly tell that her fix got rid of the terrible smell we were dealing with. If you're in the Upstate and value quality service, I recommend Brothers.
Love this company and recommend it to anyone looking for electric, plumbing and HVAC services. Dave was prompt and fast when fixing our cleanout (plumbing services). Adam was superb in detecting a leak within our HVAC system and changing out our capacitor. Chad was super helpful in fixing a minor safety switch with our HVAC system. Austin, Kevin and Grayson were proficient and speedy to fix all my HVAC issues. Sarah, Ashley and Alex are very helpful on the phone in coordinating upcoming appointments and answering all of my questions. All of them are intelligent and great at what they do. They take the time to explain everything that is going on and ensure my questions are answered. I appreciate this company! Thank you!!!
