We had a water leak pipe and they came and gave us price originally. They started to finish and realized it was better to take more off. They recommended us and gave us a good price. To do the extra stuff. I recommend the big brother company they are nice people, and took care of us to get our water pipe line.
And then just say great fix with big brother plumbing was absolutely phenomenal. He was professional courteous and very professional. It is a pleasure having him in my home. I would recommend this plumbing company over all others. The pricing was fair and competitive. Thank you Frank from Big Brother plumbing you were absolutely amazing. Can't say enough about this guy. So kind and courteous great working individual.
Frank was exceptional to work with! I truly appreciated his attention to detail and how courteous and professional he was throughout the entire process. He made sure to take care of all the intricate details with my Water Softener and RO system installation at two locations. His depth of knowledge and technical expertise went a long way in architecting innovative solutions for my complicated project. It's rare to find someone who combines technical skill with such genuine care for getting things right. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Frank and Big Brothers Home Services again!
We had a blocked central water pipe. In trying to snake a toilet to unblock the pipe beneath, instead of their snake going down the central pipe where it needed to go, Big Brother Home Services accidentally snaked through the wall horizontally into the toilet in the other bathroom and broke the ceramic, destroying that toilet. We asked them to provide a toilet free of charge of the same brand, Kohler, as the one they broke. They brought us a toilet in a Kohler box (picture attached). After they installed it and left, we realized the toilet they installed isn't a Kohler and doesn't look like the picture on the box; the box shows a metal handle, for example, and what they installed has a plastic handle. The Kohler stamp isn't on this toilet anywhere; it is stamped "made in China". We asked again for a replacement Kohler toilet, and they have said they will bring us a genuine Kohler toilet. When the toilet that was snaked is flushed, the toilet on the other side of the wall is making a big burp of air, which seems to indicate the clog may not be fully resolved. In dragging their snake machine up to the second floor, Big Brother Home Services damaged thirteen of fourteen steps on our stairs with nicks and cuts (example pictured). They have said they will fix the damage they caused to the steps. Big Brother billed us $755. There was something good in what they did in that the block did drain, but I still call it one star in view of all the damage they caused. I am posting this review in hopes our offer of updating or removing this review encourages Big Brother Home Services to please repair well the damage they caused to our steps and that we do in fact get a Kohler toilet comparable to the one they broke.
They wanted $140 to simply caulk a tub spout. Seriously? Yikes. I did like the advice we got about how to keep the kitchen sink odor free, so at least it wasn't a complete waste of the service fee.
With my 2 water heaters beginning to show their ages, I started looking into a tankless system. I called Big Brothers and got what I thought was a pretty good estimate for the install. My wife decided that she wanted a water softener so I got an estimate for that also. After talking with my neighbor, I found out that Big Brothers price for the tankless and softener was about the same as he paid for just the tankless system. The install was done when they promised. The clean up was done perfectly. Since then, I have had 2 toilets replaced and got the same professional service as before. Seems that Big Brothers takes pride in their work and treats you very fair which is something that I find lacking in a lot of business. Will be calling them for furture home services that might arise.
Truitt was outstanding in his service of installing our water softener system for our new home! Professional and courteous in every aspect, showed up early for appointments, took the time to educate me on the different options to choose from and which ones made the most sense for my families new home! Went above and beyond and actually improved some piping that hadn't quite been installed as good as it should have by the home builder and generously offered to make it look as good as it should! Truitt was friendly, Knowledgeable, and made the entire purchasing process seamless and enjoyable! If you are looking to install any water treatment services in your home, call Big Brothers Home Services and ask for Truitt, you'll be in great hands!
Very friendly and helpful. Called about possible clog. Toilet not flushing and water not filling properly. They suggested a new toilet and water line. I agreed as they seemed knowledgeable. They installed the toilet and water line. Asked about a spicket for outside. They quoted me 400. I had the HOA come over and asked them if that was something they replaced and my hoa said it's a6 dollar part so just do it yourself and save money. I was shocked. I told them several times I was on a budget. They suggested i replace my other bathrooms water line as well for a cost of 150 00 . I just got off the phone with my son and he sent me a screenshot of the part that they wanted 150. for. It's under 12.00. Get second quote to save money.
Our experience with Big Brothers Home Services was outstanding. One of our main drains backed up and flooded our basement laundry room on a Saturday night. I called Big Brothers the following Sunday, and they were able to schedule us for same-day service. I spoke with the receptionist, Tresedy, who was incredibly kind and eager to help and get us taken care of. Chuck arrived within 40 minutes and was thorough and professional, he fully cleared out the drain, which had years of buildup (we’ve lived in our home for nine years without any previous issues so it definitely was about time). We are so grateful for the prompt and efficient service. Thank you for taking care of us so quickly and with such care!
When I say that this is the worst customer service I've ever experienced, I'm not exaggerating. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They're extremely unprofessional. We had an appointment scheduled for arrival between 12-4 PM. We gave it an hour assuming they're running late to check in. Then we called in to try to get an ETA which was nearly impossible and we called in a few more times. I was told that they were on their way at 9 PM. It is now 11 PM and we have not received a call and they have not shown up. I highly recommend anyone looking for service to look elsewhere. We were promised multiple call backs for updates, and never received one. If we wanted any updates we had to call in.
Chuck was my technician, and he was absolutely wonderful. Professional, knowledgeable, pleasant, and so, so helpful. He was very patient when I asked a lot of questions (I wanted to learn more about how to prevent clogs in the future, and how close I was to solving the problem on my own --- turns out, I was on the right track, but definitely needed a professionals help). Chuck saved my bacon, and I'm so appreciative! The problem was solved, and he was thorough to make sure before he left. Chuck left the job area tidy, and did a wonderful job. I wish I could give him 10 stars! I will be recommending Big Brothers Home Services to my friends and family, and Chuck deserves a raise!
We were in a bind when we called Big Brother. We didn’t have water in the house because my husband was trying to fix the nozzle on the shower. When after trying to fix the problem and it not working we called Big Brother. My husband already had everything torn apart when the repairman came and saw that the part we had bought from Lowe’s was an aftermarket one thus the reason it wasn’t working. . Long story short he was at our house maybe 15 minutes and we were charged $688 even though my husband had everything already pulled apart. This is highway robbery ! We won’t be using their services anymore. I wish one of my boys would have went into plumbing . They’d be millionaires
We had a leaking toilet—I’ve fixed them many times over the years, but this one kept leaking no matter what I did. I’m getting older and was exhausted after spending many hours working on this stubborn repair so decided to call a professional. I happened to call Big Brothers and I’m so happy I did. Mark and Nathan did a great job—I even had them come out twice because the toilet they installed had a tiny, round seat and we wanted an elongated one. There was no complaint or argument—they came right out and switched the “dollhouse” toilet out for the larger one. This was our first experience with this company, but we loved their service and work!
The way they jack up the pricing should be illegal. I'm so glad I didn't hire them. I was quoted $1800 by Big Brothers and received another quote from a reputable plumber who owns his own business for $500. Obviously went with the other guy, and his work is incredible. Part of Big Brothers quote was for a kitchen sink faucet and the technician told me "the faucet is fine, it just doesn't have a brand so it'll take me too long to find the brand and the cartridge that actually needs replacing, so I'll just replace the faucet." So... yeah if you want lazy and overpriced, call Big Brothers!
Called Big Brothers Drain Cleaning when I experienced a flood in my basement late evening on a Friday. Cruz answered the phone and was happy to go over some information with me verbally before he was able to make it out. He offered some suggestions to save me money before coming out the next morning. When Cruz arrived right on time the next morning he went over everything step-by-step and offered to make any solution to keep my fees down ,he was amazing the communication and offers of advice such a gentleman. I would recommend him to any family or friend!
