I had a bad experience texting this company, they would not come to my address because it was "private". They couldn't event spell correctly in texts and then wrote "lol" to me when I tried to communicate my address.

Edit: We had a poor builder's grade septic pump in our basement that went bad after only 1.5 years of use. Big Apple to the rescue. They got us set up promptly with a new, first rate pump. Disraeli was our plumber again and did exceptional work. I don't anticipate any problems, but Big Apple provides a 1 year warranty, which puts our mind at ease. Thanks again! First job: We had an above ground, outdoor gas leak due to our house settling. The pipe had cracked. Disraeli came to our home the same day that I called for an appointment. He zeroed in on the problem, showed us the leak and since it was a pipe that went to an outdoor shop and wasn't an emergency, scheduled us for the next business day. Disraeli arrived for the repair on time and fixed the issue. He had to run for a few additional parts, but came back and finished the job the same day, even though the repair went into evening hours. The repair looks solid and since Big Apple has a 1 year warranty on repairs and parts, we feel reassured that if there were a problem in the near future, the issue would be resolved (although we don't foresee that). Needed repair on my Navien tankless combi boiler water heater (a bit of a specialty task / need). I consulted Navien's website first for service providers (they were not listed there), but consulted BBB(Better Business Bureau) and did a quote request (the request went out to a number of companies) Based on my (detailed) request, I would have appreciated if they said they don't specialize in this work, however they were did schedule a consult quickly. The tech that came out, while punctual and respectful, didn't appear to focus on and provide a suitable solution for my specific needs (I was quoted for a replacement of the pressure release valve - something outside the water heater that was making noises / having the issue). After getting advice from others, I would have had to spend more time and money as the pressure release valve would not have solved the issue. Quick response and quote, but not really what I was specifically looking / needing. Not to say I wouldn't consult them in the future for other, more general repair needs.

This company is as good as it gets! The owner Jason came out himself replaced my leaking water heater same day! He was very friendly and absolutely loved our dog. We have had some poor experiences in the past with plumbers but this by far was the best experience we have ever had with a plumber. I recommend this company and will only use them for future plumbing needs. I just had them back to fix a leak coming from my bathtub on my second floor. Jason did a fantastic job. He was able to use a thermal imaging camera, then he replaced a gasket, didn't even have to cut into my ceiling. I will only use this company for anything plumbing related. Thanks again Jason!

I manage a property that is larger than most residential contractors will work on but smaller than commercial plumbers are interested in. We had an emergency - Water leak spilling hundreds of gallons of water onto our property. Big Apple gave us a quote, stuck to their timeline, respected our property - and stayed in constant contact with me throughout. This was my third plumbing contractor this year, and the only one that has earned my trust! Subsequently, I used Big Apple For some remodeling work in my home. They collaborated with me, worked with my ever-changing timeline, and In the end, knocked everything out of the park!

Went to Jason and his team after their initial scope showed damage to the original cast-iron sewer lines. I was having additional work done and they were willing to help coordinate with the other crews and ensure no damage was done to the new lines after they left. I'm very happy with the results, the new lines look great and easily passed inspection. I would go to them again for any large project due to their willingness to accommodate the individual needs of a job, and their clear expertise! Well worth the price for the peace of mind!

Gabriel was an excellent technician. He took the time to explain the problem and potential solutions in a clear way, and then once we decided on a solution he executed it skillfully and conscientiously. Big Apple was able to dispatch Gabriel to our house on the same day we called, which was greatly appreciated. The service seemed fairly expensive, but the promptness, interaction and results merit a 5-star rating.

Jason was early for our appointment and diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. I'm house sitting and cannot make the necessary decision for a new water heater, which he understood completely. He fixed the old one to limp along until the homeowner returns. If I were the decision maker, I would have had him install a new water heater then and there - he is very knowledgeable and inspires confidence in his work.

Big Apple Plumbing responded quickly to my request for service.   They came out the same day and found an old honeycomb in the exhaust line of my water heater.  They removed the honeycomb and the water heater is working again.  They even supplied a new screen for the exhaust pipe to prevent future occurrences. Thanks for the quick response and excellent work!  I highly recommend this company.

Fast response! I just sent a request/inquiry on Friday night and Jason immediately responded within minutes! They scheduled an appointment first thing Monday morning and arrived on the dot at 9 am! Disraeli was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient as he explained about my sump pump issue. I am a returning customer for years now. They are my go-to whenever I have plumbing issues.
