Beyond Wow Plumbing & Drains

I’m very impressed! We had a clogged kitchen sink and Zen showed up to help less than 2 hours from the time we called. Then Jason arrived, and they fixed everything quickly and even showed video proof of the pipes before and after the service. Wow! I called 3 plumbers before I found WOW on line, and the next time I need someone, you better believe they’ll be the first place I call.

I have an old water heater and I’m not sure if it should be flushed or replaced. The technician Zen Gonzales came and shared his honest and professional opinions. He was patient and answered all my questions. He provided the estimate of replacing the water heater but he didn’t push me to make decisions which I highly appreciate. I would love to work with Zen in the future again.

Had to call out Beyond and they got here the day after I called. The fill valve on my toilet broke. (Not sure how but it did) Also had an issue with no water coming into the tank after flushing. They came out and replaced the fill valve. 2 days later, same issue. Called Beyond and they (Lisa) were able to hook me up for later on that afternoon and they got it fixed. Good customer service with call backs and letting you know how long it would be and a shout out to Bobby for coming out and fixing the issue. Good guys!!

They came and failed to unclog my toilet and charged me $275 for not fixing the issue… very horrible experience. It cost me $275 for them to just show up and leave without fixing the issue

Claims to give exceptional service but refuses to give a ballpark estimate over the phone to replace a water heater. They want to lock you in by charging you to visit your house to give an estimate.

My review of S&D is not glowing, as many you will see on their website. I've had them out to my house since June 21 (many times) for the same problem. It is now mid-September and my problem still exist. I was told various things about what they "suspect" the particular issue was and have been given 3 or 4 estimates for huge amounts of money, all covering different things - however, none of them are easy to understand. The particular plumber that's come out each time keeps insisting that I need to have a $4500 repair but yet has not been able to prove to me that it is necessary. He wants to completely jack-hammer my bathroom, make a so-called repair (that I'm not even sure I need) then leave me with the dilemma of having to hire another contractor to remodel the bathroom back to it's original status...which means, the entire job would cost me much more than $4500 and several days without the use of my bathroom. I've called the owners/managers of this company many times to discuss and they have refused to return my telephone calls. I am so, so angry at this lack of response to my complaint and feel the public should know. In addition, the plumber (upon his first visit) enrolled me in their VIP Loyalty Club, which is supposed to provide me discount pricing, priority scheduling and annual treatment/services. If I cannot even get a manager or owner to return my telephone calls, there is no reason to be a member of their VIP Club. I've demanded my money back, but to date, nothing has occurred -- no return calls; no refunds, yet, I still have the plumbing issue lurking. Lastly, I have contacted other plumbing companies for second opinions and, right off the bat, their prices have been less expensive and none of them have pressured me into performing a major repair that may not even exist.

I am very disappointed with the service I received. I had a leaking pipe fixed and a washer installed. The tech didn't seem to know what he was doing and when it came to installing the washer my husband had to help him get it in the house and unpack it. Then he installed it without taking off the shipping rods. He ran a cycle and even though it was loud he said it was all good and left. We went to use the washer and it was incredibly loud and bouncing across the room. So then my husband and I spent the better half of our Saturday morning trying to figure out what was wrong to realize that is wasn't installed correctly. There were also extra parts that were supposed to be attached to the back that were just laying out. He clearly had no idea what they were or where they were supposed to go. I called to have a new tech come out and correct the installation and that I also wanted to have a manager call me to talk about this because the most basic part of their job should be knowing how to install a washing machine. The new tech came out and the installation instructions were provided to him and he also was surprised that there support rods from shipping though I know those are not a strange or new thing. After all of this, I have not gotten any calls from the manager over this. I will never be recommending or using this company again. Extremely disappointed. Also, like the other post here very expensive. $200 to install the washer when I ended up doing more research on how it should have been installed then they did. UPDATE: was able to get a hold of the manager and was refunded for the washer install.

I originally used S&D Plumbing (who were great), which was acquired by Beyond Wow and are now quite possibly the worst plumbers I have ever experience. They installed a Navian tankless water heater. Upon initial installation, the condensate line was connected incorrectly, and the drain pan wasn't sealed. As a result, it leaked all over the attic. During the post installation electrical cleanup, we realized the gas line was loose and they had to come redo the gas connections. Next, it took 4 months to coordinate the inspection, which failed because they used the incorrect size pipe on the drain line and didn't connect the exhaust correctly. At the end, they admitted the installation was performed by technicians who hadn't completed their Navian training yet. It took 5 months, many emails and many phone calls to get a simple water heater installed and inspected. They don't follow-up, don't return calls and perform poor work with untrained technicians. I'll be filing a complaint with Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners and the BBB.

The scoring has absolutely NOTHING to do with the service technician. He was very nice & did a good job... this rating is for the COMPANY! Don't let them fool you, S & D Plumbing is not a local company that value their customers. They are out to take advantage of people. First, I had a very simple kitchen faucet change out. I purchased the new faucet, which was just like the old faucet, and had the water shut off. I just was too busy with 4 kids to do it myself. S & D said they didn't give estimates over the phone, but could send a technician out same day to look at it. Even though I knew exactly what needed to be done, they charge a $75 fee just to have someone give a quote. Then it was $551 to install the faucet. BEYOND EXPENSIVE!! I needed it done to wash baby bottles and I feel like they completely took advantage of me. Way way over priced and they should be ashamed of themselves charging this kind of money, for a simple fix. It wasn't like they fixed anything or even supplied any materials, they simply changed the faucet!

I was in a serious jam. Losing water somewhere the week before thanksgiving. I called several companies and was pleased to hear from Desere they had a crew in the neighborhood. She also assured me they had the latest gear. In essence she talked me down off a ledge. Aurelio and Diego arrived about 3:00 and went to work. Beyond being courteous and professional, those guys don't know quit. The fact that they stayed on site until 11PM was a tribute to their commitment and professionalism . I am used to the kind of tradesmen who quit promptly at 5:00. Perhaps not the cheapest alternative, but when you are in a bind, price is the not at the forefront. Although they didn't find both leaks, by 11:00 PM the first day they rigged a solution enabling us to have water, returned the next day and completed the job: leaks found, new pipes installed dicorce averted. Moving forward (hopefully not anytime soon) my first call will be to S&P.

I contacted S&D Plumbing having received high praise on their service from friends in Round Rock. On the day of the appointment, the S&D plumber, Zen Gonzales, was promptly on time and proved to be a very courteous, personable and capable plumber. We looked at the issues in the master bathroom with a clogged sink that had proven itself resistant to my best efforts to unplug it myself, and the other sink whose water flow was incredibly minuscule. Zen looked at all the potential reasons inside and outside the house that might have created the problems noted above and then proceeded to unplug the one sink and improve the water flow in the other. The work was done professionally to my total satisfaction. I also decided to join S&D Plumbing's yearly service program based on my satisfaction with my S&D Plumbing experience.

We got all our toilets replaced and we had great service from Andrew! One of the toilets (a Kohler, fresh from the box from Home Depot) had a faulty valve thingy that made the water keep filling the tank nonstop. I was worried we’d have to stop the service or return the toilet but Andrew called his supervisor and they fixed it no charge! Fantastic! (I called Kohler and got a replacement piece for the future 😑). Beyond Wow did amazing! I will add that they have a membership, which we were upsold on prior to service. We did move forward with it though because it actually saved us money on this project and another piece we needed (outside spigot replaced). So all in all, great service, great company, I highly recommend!

Hello! A few weeks ago I was having issues with my disposal and called S&D Plumbing for help. They were able to come out the very next day, which was a pleasant surprise. I received prior notification about the technician that would be arriving, which I was so appreciative of. Aurelio Lopez arrived on time and was the true epitome of customer service. He diagnosed the issue and gave me a number of options for resolution. He quickly executed the installation of a new disposal and I’ve had no issues since. We had a service call for a couple of leaking faucets. Jorge came out and he was friendly, courteous, professional and explained all repairs to us as he discovered the causes. He gave us costs before proceeding. In these times of shortages of services, our experience was seamless from start to finish. I booked online and received an email as well as text confirmation of date & time. I was able to upload photos so they were able to come prepared. Jorge called when he was on his way so we knew exactly when to expect him. This is our 3rd excellent experience with S & D and I would highly recommend.
