I was very impressed with both Richard and Kobe. First of all , they showed up on time. They were very professional and friendly. Answered my questions in detail and with clarity. Their work was outstanding and looks great. I would highly recommend either of them to do work for me.
I had Landon, Zac and Brandon do work at my Mom’s house. Very nice and very Professional guys! I have used them several times in the past and keep their number in my contacts! I highly recommend them Best Plumbers ‼️
Landon and Zach were a great team !! They were very through and found the source to the problem very quickly. Super friendly and patient with my elderly mom. Definitely will be calling to get some other things we found that need attention in the future!!
While I thought the plumber was very courteous, prompt, and did solve 1 out of 2 of the problems in the house (he also explained why he couldn't do the 2nd one), I was disappointed with the high cost and lack of transparency. The plumber didn't have the part on my truck for either of the 2 jobs so he left to see if he could get them, but even with that time considered, he was probably in my house 1/2 hour working on the actual problem, so I have no idea why the cost was so high. Also, on my receipt there was no hourly rate, no specific time he spent on my job (or in transit), no cost of the parts. I will say the plumber did tell me the total cost of the work prior to getting started. I just didn't know it was going to take such little time. And if you can't solve all the problems you were requested to, why would a company top on a $45 service charge? Next time I will take my chances elsewhere so I wouldn't recommend to others. Also, it kind of turned my stomach when they sent me a note in the mail saying they'd give me a $10 gift card if I wrote a review on Yelp or Google. I write reviews when I have an experience, good or bad, I feel someone can get something from, not because I'm paid.
I had a leak at my house which I heard in the downstairs bathroom. I originally called a company I've used in the past check it out but was advised to contact a leak detection company. They would not recommend any companies but when I asked about a few by name I was given certain looks. I mentioned Knoxville Plumbing and was told they heard good and bad things about them. I took that with a grain of salt because I know every company has good and bad points. My initial contact with Knoxville Plumbing started great, they were on time, personable and was contacted by email the tech's name and photo. The first 2 techs were professional, and personable but did not feel comfortable giving me an exact answer detecting where the leak could possible be. He recommended contacting the company's leak detection specialist which was supposed to come out the following day. I had to call the company to follow up and was told the call was not entered with an apology. I had to wait the following week for him to come out, he did and determined where the leak was. I asked about my options as to how the leak could be repaired since it was detected under the slab, 1 was break up the floor, 2 was going through the walls and running a new line. I chose the walls. I had to wait another few days before the work could be scheduled, I had to take off again from work. Finally, the work started and six hours later a new cold-water line was repaired. Low and behold I went back into the back bathroom and heard water running again. I called the company back told them the techs just left after six hours and I'm still hearing water. The tech returned and we went into the bathroom and he also heard water running again. He stated maybe it was the hot water line instead of the cold that he replaced, and he would return the next day, fix it at no charge, which turned out to be a lie! I was charged and when I asked for the invoice I saw where I was charged, previous invoices were automatically emailed to me. I called the company spoke with the manager and told him I was told by the tech 2x that it would be a no charge since it was not fixed. I also said the tech had an intern with him and he was standing there when I was told it would be a no charge call. I even said to have the 3 of us in the room so the tech could verify what he told me, but the manager stated, you signed the invoice and they were sticking to the signature and charge. I was told by the tech the invoice would be zeroed out, obviously that had not occurred. I was so angry being lied to and the manager not obliging me, the customer with confirmation in front of the tech that made the comment. So, after the invoices totaling $3k, being lied to, waiting, and rescheduling not on the books, I guess this company falls into the good and bad!
My kitchen sink faucet died, creating a not so slow leak that wasn't totally alleviated by the under-sink valve. So, it's a two item job, now. Of course, my tools are in another city, ugh. The slow leak means I can't leave the house unoccupied, soooooo.... Called Knoxville Plumbing. Very courteous lady assured me each truck had basic items such as faucets & values, AND just to be sure, she was including my needs on the job order to provide a "heads-up" for the service rep. Wow! So far; So good! The service rep was very courteous, however he didn't seem very familiar with his product line. AND, he didn't have any inventory on/in his truck, despite assurances made by the company spokesperson as mentioned above. A star falls quietly into the sea of non-service. I explained I wanted a basic faucet, nothing fancy; and the under-sink valve replaced, and that I was dealing with a time-line in another city. The service rep did find a suitable faucet set and a replacement valve, and when installed, there were no water leaks whatsoever. HOWEVER, he installed the faucet set BACKWARDS, and acted/explained "that's how this model works". Yes, on THIS model, the levers face the wall when the water is turned 'on'! (Okay, quit laughing!) Had I not had an appointment in Asheville that evening, I would have simply refused to sign the receipt, but time and attractive women wait for no man. TWO more stars fall, for the attempted deception, or 'shudder' -ignorance on the part of our service rep. Plumbing is a premium service, and we who pay should EXPECT premium service! Later::::: As Eric the owner states, Knox Plumbing did offer to send a corrective plumber to my home, and it only took a bit of mild insistence to have it scheduled within a reasonable time frame. Interesting, how my initial time schedule was used in his narrative; not a good move, but not directly related to my service, so we'll hold the stars firm. Honestly, I knew it wouldn't take a great deal of time to fix the problem, I just wanted the first dude outta my house, and be on my way. The corrective plumber arrived as scheduled, apologized, shook his head, and set to work. Within a few minutes, things were made right. He mentioned the original repairman should have noticed that the 'logo' on a faucet ALWAYS faces the sink front, and not tried to snow me with a false statement regarding its orientation. Lesson Learned:::: With these large businesses, one might get a master plumber, or you might get a novice who will install a faucet backwards, and try to tell you it's 'right'. You make your call; You take your chances....
This has been a great experience today...started with just needing a toilet replaced and ended with a tankless water heater! (That was not a rash decision, I was already planning to get a new water heater and had been researching tankless!) Let's start at the beginning...I "contacted" via the website on a Sunday evening and actually got a call back from a very sweet and informative lady named Janet that night! Janet explained everything so well, she answered my questions, and she let me know how the process was going to work when the tech came out the next day. It was a small up charge to get them out on a holiday, but that's what worked with my schedule and that's what I wanted! Amber called me this morning to let me know that Ben was on his way and I received an email, as well as a text, with the photo of him and felt very comfortable about that entire process. Ben came in exact timing, immediately assessed the situation, answered all of my questions and got to work. While he was here replacing my toilet we discussed the water heater and he answered all of my questions, including proposing a maintenance plan that really worked for my needs. I have to say they have a great maintenance plan, a great payment plan, and great staff! Ben took the time to show me everything about my new system, worked out the best path for drainage, etc. I'm so excited and happy with my new toilet and tankless water heater! What a nice, and refreshing, experience with a vendor! Thank you ALL at Knoxville Plumbing...if I experienced 3 awesome people...I'm sure the rest are the same!
Knoxville Pluming sounded very professional on the the phone. Upon arrival, very scripted and very sales driven. I was sold on the flashy videos and brochures. I didn't take the time I should have to read all the reviews, big mistake! They replaced the sewer pipe from the house to the road and in the process damaged our Japanese Maple, valued at $3,000+. I understand they have to dig near the tree but no one called or mentioned that their the heavy equipment they where using may come into contact with the tree or worse, possibility damage it. I called the service manager Brett to discuss the matter. We had been out of town during the repair. After I reported the damage, Brett made the accusation that I was trying to avoid paying the remaining balance on my account. After arguing with him for several minutes. I agreed to pay the balance. He said he would send a tree specialist out to have a look. After the tree specialist met with me he was of the opinion. that the root system was 30% damaged and the branches were needlessly damaged as well. He recommended having the tree treated to prevent fungus and further damages. Brett diffused responsibility, severely lacked customer vision and refused to treat the tree as recommended by the tree company or offer any solutions to remediate the damages. I would strongly suggest finding another plumbing company to do your work.
Jacob & Isaiah ran new lines from the main water supply through the walls to a small utility closet & installed a water softener. Upon arrival, they inspected the area, listened to our requests and came up with a unique plan to route and secure the new lines making only 2 small openings in the existing drywall. The one exposed copper line was mounted close to the ceiling to minimize intrusion into the room. I intend on covering the line with a 5” soffit for aesthetics anyway, but it looks very clean, even if left exposed. They were very careful about not letting water go behind the walls during the process, and cleaned everything up when they completed the job. They routed all the pipes in the utility closet for the water softener very cleanly and professionally, and provided a thorough explanation of the entire system. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing requirements. Knowledgeable, quick, professional service at a very fair price.
We had to have some work done after having our bathroom shower floor refinished. Knoxville plumbing was the company that we were referred to and since then it has been nothing but issue after issue with them. The shower continues to leak down into our kitchen from their work. Different technicians come out every time and say it's something different. Now someone is out saying they have to cut a hole in our ceiling to see into what could possibly be going on and if it's not due to their work they are not willing to get someone to fix the hole. Ridiculous. How can they keep sending different technicians out and giving us different answers as to what is going on. They even managed to mess up our other shower after trying to fix it and we had to pay another plumber $300 to fix their mess up. Don't use this company unless you want a bunch of stress and financial burden.
It says alot about a company when things don't go as planned more times than ever can be expected, if the company still puts their customer and their well being first over all. This is exactly Best Plumber of Knoxville and their staff. Everyone remained professional, very kind and sweet, even if we showed panic or concerns and was able to reassure us. Please feel comfortable having this company hired for your job. When a job goes as planned is one thing, but if things seem to fall under the Bermuda triangle and they don't stray from great customer service and satisfaction you have a winner. Yes, we will in a heart beat have this company for any future project we may need. Thank you to all at Best Plumber.
Jayme, Kobie, and Lucas were all great to work with. All very professional!!! Lucas impressed me the most. He was very eager and willing to stay as long as it took to get my water back on. He said he would have stayed til 10 o'clock if he needed to to make sure it was on. I appreciated that. Lucas and Jayme were both very helpful in helping me understand what was needed and gave me estimates of the different jobs, which gave me options. Overall I am very pleased that the work got done to my satisfaction. I know Kobie worked hard also but I dealt more with Jayme and Lucas. Great job guys!! Thank you!
We've been in our house over 10 years now. We've had small problems and I used local plumbers. Now, everything was backed up and I tried all solutions to no avail. I called Best Plumbers and and set up an appointment. He gave me 3 options. We decided on the middle option. It was more expensive than I expected. I've had some bad luck with tree guys, not necessarily about the price, but about the quality of the work. I was nervous. I'm old and retired. Money is limited. We took the shot. The quality of the work was excellent. They did everything with a high level of expertise. They didn't look for shortcuts.
Landon and Chandler were great! They were able to resolve by issue with my kitchen faucet and make the whole process very stress-free and easy on me. While they were there, they performed a whole home evaluation, and Chandler noticed that my water heater was leaking. Oh no! The two put together some options for me with genuine care for me and my home. I’m happy to say that I now have a beautiful faucet, a new tankless water heater, and water conditioning equipment that will help maintain my plumbing system for years to come! Thank you Best Plumber for sending out your BEST technicians to my home!
I have used Knoxville Plumbing/Hero Services for our plumbing problems for some time now, and can honestly say they are the best. The technicians always let me know when they are coming to the job and give me the price for the work before doing the job. We had used a few different plumbing companies before trying this one, but found they were over-priced and not likely to fix the problem. Robert and Tim, as well as the other technicians that have worked on problems at our commercial property have all been excellent and fair. I would not consider any other plumbing company again.
