Roberto helped solve our issues with our tankless water heater. We got an error code and had no hot water. I contacted the owner Russ and the sent our Roberto. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He spend a few hours flushing out my tank and reseting the unit to make sure that it worked. He even had to miss the first half of the Niner game. I really appreciate Best Bay Pluming and Rooter and highly recommend this business!

I had a major leak in a pipe near my water heater and Sergio came out promptly and took care of this for me. He was very courteous, wore a uniform with his company name and identified himself to me. He was very honest and didn't take advantage of my lack of knowledge (he could have told me I needed a new water heater and I would have believed him, but I didn't need that and he took care of the pipe fix). He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He also fixed another pipe issue that would soon cause me a problem, so I appreciated his proactive approach. I would use Best Bay Plumbing again and highly recommend them.

I left work early today due to some back pain. Thinking I was coming home to take a warm bath to lossen up my back muscles, and surprise the water heater is out.... After trying to fix it myself I immediately called Able. He called me back within 10 minutes, we discussed the issue and he came right over. He arrived shortly after and was instantly able to fix the problem. He is always quick to come to the rescue, and gives the best customer service! He is my go to for all my plumbing needs.! Thanks Able! We just purchased a new washer and dryer set and had it installed buy the company we purchased from. The installation guy did a great job, but after a few days we noticed the smell of gass In our garage, did a soap test on the connection and found a small leak coming out of the connection valve. I immediately got ahold of Able, keeping mind this was late Sunday morning, he quickly texted me back saying he would be here Monday morning. He showed up on time and quickly assessed and replaced the valve. I couldn't be happier with the service we got. We will keep recommending and using His company whenever a plumbing/rooter/gass problem arises. THANK YOU ABLE! Very professional! They showed up on time and made sure I was always aware of what was going on, they also made sure we had some sort of working water when they were done for the day. Work was done very quickly but it definitely wasn't rushed. Able and his team are amazing and will definitely be my go to for plumbing problems and projects! Plus my new shower is amazing!!

I do not normally write online reviews, but I feel compelled to leave a superstar review for Best Bay Plumbing and Rooter, for their quick, efficient, honest, and reasonably-priced service. After a recent bathroom renovation by another plumber, we were left with a shower which only produced lukewarm water. Once we became aware of the problem it was pretty clear that we needed to call in a more competent plumber to sort out the mixing valve. We tried most of the companies in the area. In most cases they refused to give us a quote even for such a minor issue over the phone, insisting to set up an appointment, turn up at the house, then quoting preposterous numbers much higher that what we knew the job would take. In contrast, once we reached out to Best Bay Plumbing and Rooter over the phone, Abel was happy to discuss the potential range of the cost including the potential replacement part and labor, all in line with what we know about the store prices for said part and within normal expectations. When their technician showed up at the house, he actually found out that nothing was wrong with the part itself, it had just been improperly installed and needed to be reinstalled. It was done within five minutes at a minimal cost, saving us the cost of the part that another plumber who checked out the issue and gave us a repair quote told us we would need to replace. We are grateful to get the issue solved with no drama and to know we can call Best Bay Plumbing and Rooter next time an issue arises.

Best Bay Plumbing has excellent integrity and fair pricing. Today Bay Plumbing repaired my Hot Water Heater. I contacted two other well-known San Jose Plumbing companies before contacting Abel from Best Bay Plumbing. The two well-known companies just wanted to replace the Hot Water Heater since it was ten years old. However, thank goodness for google-searched, I knew that the Hot Water Heater still had good and needed the Theormalcouple replaced. So, on a whim, I left Best Bay Plumbing, and the answering service indicated that a response would be within 15 minutes. Abel contacted me in ten minutes; I shared my issues and what I thought needed to be done, and how a quote to have the Thermocouple replaced. He asked me to send him a picture of the Hot Water Heater so he could provide me with a quote. Sergio arrived on time, was friendly and got to work ASAP, and cleaned up after he was done replacing the Thermocouple. Glad I found Best Bay Plumbing, and now we have hot water.

It is very rare for me to award five star reviews. In this case it is warranted. I first called Best Bay Plumbing to replace the water line from the meter to the house. The old line was cast iron and had rusted to the point it was leaking. First they contacted the city and got emergency permission to setup a temporary stopgap to supply water to the house through a hose. They did this on the same day I contacted them. Two days later they came and installed a replacement line. The work was completed in a couple of hours and the area completely restored. I was also installing a hot water heater at the time. Work that I had no experience doing. They were willing to answer my questions and even returned to my house a couple of times to give advice all free of charge. It is rare to find such an honest and capable contractor as Best Bay Plumbing and Rooter.

Abel came out to my house to check a water flow issue and immediately checked the crawl space to find water everywhere, he immediately pointed me to a company that handles those issues. Following a successful cleanup he went under the house an found the busted pipes. He fixed those in addition to making some other important recommendations. He and his team got my plumbing issues back to normal in just a few days and probably saved me from future issues. He and his team are extremely professional, while showing genuine concern. They show up at the time agreed upon which I really appreciate. I hate time windows..others should take note. They go above and beyond. After the emergency I had and how fast it was handled...Abel earned my loyalty from here on out!! I'd highly recommend them.

I contacted Best Bay Plumbing few months ago for our irrigation pipe leak, Abel came next day and gave me honest suggestion of not fixing it as I'll be doing landscape renovation soon. Few months later I needed plumber to install aquasana water softener & replace our gas heater with electric hybrid heater, Abel gave me fairly reasonable labor quote, and came quickly once my water heater arrives. He came with 2 of his workers on time and performed installation with care. For example he used better connector then the one came with softener. Also took care of condensation line requirement for the new heater. Worth mention they kept the job site clean and hauls away all garbage including the old heater and packaging materials. I'd highly recommend Best Bay Plumbing to anyone.

These guys are best in the business! I had a leak in my sink drain to sewer line & got outrageously conflicting opinions from two contractors who were “guessing” and didn’t really know what could be wrong. Then came Abel, 10 minutes into inspection he knew exactly what’s wrong. It was his utter confidence that made me want to go ahead with their service (and reviews ofcourse). And he was absolutely right! The pipe break was right where he said it would be. Also - Roberto was extremely kind and professional. He was 15 minutes early to the appointment yet waited in his van patiently until the appointment time to ring the bell. He also cleaned up well after work. I highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs!

I first contacted Best Bay Plumbing when the tenant leaving my rental property had jammed up the kitchen sink garbage disposal with coffee grounds. I had a new tenant moving in soon and needed the system fixed urgently. Abel, the owner showed up the next day, discussed options and provided clear pricing. He did a great job replacing the unit and also went the extra step of educating the new tenant on properly operating the garbage disposal. Since then I’ve used his team several times - to install water softener/filtration systems, bidets in toilets and fix issues in showers. Each time the quality of work has been excellent and the pricing fair. Would highly recommend.

Background: Our office flooded due to clogged pipes on Friday. The kitchen sink and two bathrooms were unusable and our sink had a leak. I called the office as soon as I got to work today, explained the emergency and they sent out a team right away to fix the issue. Eric and Sergio were dispatched, they were communicative, informative, and very helpful. They cleared the pipes, removed the toilet to fix the pipe there as well, and remedied the sink leak in less than two hours! The cost and service was great- we will definitely be contacting them if any issue arises in the future (but hopefully not)! Thank you, Best Bay Plumbing!

We just purchased a new kitchen under mount stainless steel sink and motion sensor faucet. Abel was able to immediate size the project and provide an estimate after careful review of what it entailed. There was a lot of reconnections to consider, including a relocation of garbage disposal and water filtration tank. He was very helpful and upfront of the total cost and labor it would take, leaving no surprises for us at the end. The work performed was completed timely and our sink/faucet looks and works beautifully! I had dropped my wedding ring in the washroom sink and could not get it out. The only way was to open the pipes below and get it out.  I request Abel to come and take a look (it was a free quote visit) He looked at it and smiled and then just took the ring out by quickly opening pipes. He also cleaned the pipes and made sure there was no leakage. Asked him, how much did I owe? He said "Nothing"  Wow, I could not believe it, He said it was a simple job and he won't charge for that. He was on time, kept me posted about his visit and was prompt in his response as well. 100% recommended if you are looking for an honest plumber.

I have used Abel V's services three times to replace leaking water heaters past 12 months. I found them on Thumbtack app & very happy with them. The job price & customer service was exceptional and will use again! Their communication from start to finish was excellent. I paid by credit card over the phone upon completing the job. By the way they are a CA licensed full service plumbing service! So they do more than just install gas water heater! Recent work included under the building repair and replacement of old water drains and roto-rooter of mainline sewage lines to street!
