Jessy and Jeremy are truly outstanding plumbers who exceeded every expectation. They arrived on time, were professional and friendly, and immediately made me feel confident in their expertise. They carefully explained the issue, diagnosed it thoroughly, and fixed it flawlessly without cutting corners. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality really stood out. They worked efficiently while still taking the time to answer my questions with patience and clarity. Best of all, they left everything spotless when the job was done. If you want reliable, skilled, and genuinely great professionals, Jessy and Jeremy are the ones to call.
We have used this company for years. They have not let us down. Our most recent work had a minor issue that kept the solution from working and they showed up pronto and made the simple fix and bingo. Awesome. They are really, really great.
Ryan communicated when he was en rout and showed up on time. I explained my issue and he immediately understood the situation. Offered a great solution and executed the work in a professional and timely manner. Would highly recommend.

They charge for it $99 It’s ridiculous. Be careful. Looks like scam. We finished build another house and I want buy another heater from this company. Now of course I’m not buying anything from this company
These guys wanted over $300 for a simple bathroom faucet replacement for up/downstairs ! Got old fashion plumber for ! 100.00!
We have had this Ben Franklin do all our work for years. Water heater flushing, new faucets, new drains...etc. So I called them today because a toilet overflowed randomly and backed up in a tub. I called and was told yes we can dispatch a tech right away since you are a club member. Great. Two hours later they rang back and I thought it was the tech...no it was the office stating they had looked and I wasn't a club member for four years.... I've only owned the house for three years. I told her there must be a mistake because I'm looking at their sticker on my water heater from last year. Maybe my credit card expired on the 5.95 a month to be in "the club"? I don't know but there is a mistake. She said maybe because she can't see the whole file and she DID see more recent visits! But the dispatcher said it was four years so she had to call me . Fine I will resolve all the issues and pay any back club fees since I didn't know there was a problem. Which by the way the club is an EXTRA optional charge to reduce your service charges. I have three houses that I run and belong to several of these service clubs so I didn't notice it not being charged. Sorry. Charge me extra then, pretend I'm a regular customer whatever you need to do.......When will the tech be here? Nope ... no tech can come. They will only service club members emergencies today. I can schedule an appt for three days from now. So I asked her to please speak with her service supervisor and explain I am in a full leg cast on crutches and alone since my husband is with his brother in Pennsylvania who has Covid and is in the hospital . Since I'm a customer for three years I would appreciate the courtesy. No. This was the policy of the owner David Barnes. No exceptions. But she will go ahead and schedule me for Tuesday . I have sewage in my tub and toilet and floor.....NO THANK YOU this can't wait three days . I called Lee Company and they were here in an hour The problem was addressed and then a cleaning crew was able to get in. I am still in shock and can not fathom that the owner would have this policy. So make sure your in the savings club or your out of luck to give this company your money. Eileen
Competently replaced my mother in law's fill valve and supply lines in 2 toilets. Maybe I'm just ignorant of current prices,... Date: August 5, 2014 at 5:05:08 PM CDT Gentlemen, I am really concerned that my mother in law just way overpaid you guys for a minor R&R of 2 units. I do realize that you replaced the valves and supply lines but even so ....How much time could it take? Certainly the parts can't be the issue. if there is something I am not seeing please feel free to elaborate. This elderly women is on a fixed income guys. Don't mean to sound too accusatory but this sounds unreasonable to me. please advise, Ignored Date: August 6, 2014 at 2:30:08 PM CDT I hope by now you have had a chance to read and consider my (attached) email dated 09/05/2014. Since neither Mrs Brown or myself have heard back from you, I will once again ask that you advise me and or Mrs Brown how you arrived at the total of $ 438.00 for the minor repair (your words) of two toilets. The bill I saw was unclear. If you are confident in your pricing this should not be a big deal. Thanks again Ignored Aug,7 2:22 Jeff, In the interest of full disclosure, I wanted you to know that I did spoke to Mrs. Brown to get permission to discuss her account with you. On August 5 Mrs. Brown called our office at 9:26, we arrived at her home at 13:37. We repaired 2 toilets at her home, installing new brass shank fill valves, acid-resistant flappers and no burst braided stainless steel supply tubes. The work comes with a 2 year warranty. We price all of our work by the job- not by the hour, and all jobs are quoted to the penny prior to any work beginning. The total amount charged to her Visa card was $372, not $438. She received our club members discount of 15%, in addition to her service fee (normally $49) being waived. Occasionally the invoice as printed on the technicians IPad does not break out the discount, bit I can assure you of the amount- $372. Feel free to call if you have further questions. I NEVER give 5 stars because I don't believe "perfect" exists, but I had a bathroom remodel done and had to outsource plumbing to get the results I wanted. We'll start with Scott... friendly, fun, light hearted and filled with corny jokes. Scott accessed what my project and was very confident it could be done and let me know it was a 3 step process. An appointment was then made to have the work done. Zach and Tyler showed up promptly, handled their business and told me to call when I was ready for the second visit. The remodel was complete and it was time to call the plumbers in to install the toilet and sink. I called and my appointment was set up for the next day. Zach and Tyler showed up promptly handled their business and told me there was no need for a third visit. I was in agreement. Upon installing my toilet Zach noticed there was a clog in my system. He then called the company to see if a technician could be sent out to address the clog issue. They were able to come out later that day. Meanwhile it was lunch time and I recommend a restaurant and told them what I usually ordered from the menu. After lunch they returned and finished up. During the lunch hour I went to the grocery store and returned just as they were packing to leave. I was putting my groceries away in the refrigerator and saw a to go plate with writing on it. Zack left me the lunch I had mentioned to him with a thank you. Such a sweet gesture. Joe M was the technician who came to ease my (p)drain. He worked diligently in the cold until he cleared my (p)drain. This was a long post to say my experience with Benjamin Franklin was a good one. From the initial assessment, to the plumbers and the technician... all were respectful, knowledgeable, and caring. I will recommend them to anyone who approaches me with plumbing issues. Thank you Benjamin Franklin for a stress free experience.
This was one of the worst plumbing experiences ever!!! I live in Nashville and I called Benjamin Franklin to find out why my toilet was taking 30 minutes to fill & my sink had no water flow. This guy shows up and takes a look at the toilet & sink in less than 10 mins., comes out and take longer writing up the plan than it did to look at the problem. Tells me my toilet and sink are old and needs to be replace for over $1100 or repaired for over $600 or even better I can join their membership program and they will wave the $59 service fee and repair everything for $425 and they will charge me $8 per month and come out and check my plumbing a few times a year. In all this he never diagnosed the actual problem, but was able to come up with a price! I called Hers & His Plumbing they came out diagnosed the problem, not only fixed my bathroom but a leak under my kitchen sink too. 40 minutes and less than $300 later I was back in business! Ben Franklin Plumbing should be wearing a mask & carrying a gun....cause I got robbed of $59 and 30 minutes I can never get back! As a hair stylist I will be letting all my clients, friends & family know don't waste your time calling Good ol' Ben Franklin. I'm amending my previous review somewhat. Benjamin Franklin did return my $59 service fee, I guess that's something. However I still stand firm on the rest of my review. How do you give someone the cost of a repair if you haven't diagnosed the problem. I'm not saying you're a scammer, I'm just saying you're displaying scamish behavior.
Today I called Ben Franklin Plumbing to schedule some one of their professional to come by and take a look at a possible leak. I first talked to Tammy and she was excellent on getting my information and update this information. Then she said that they could send out one their professionals later today, which I thought was Great. I figured I would have to wait a day or so. she said they could be there around 2 to 4 this afternoon. I said, ok. 45 minutes goes by and Tammy called back and said they had a professional in the area and was getting done early, could he come on over, I said that would be great. Caleb was the professional that came by(he and another person came here sometime back and installed a Water Heater). So,it was great that to meet him again along with his partner Brett. Well, they looked for the problem and found that I had a leak in the waterline and mentioned that they would have to repair it, because it was probably galvanized piping and they would replace it with a much better line that last a longer time. He said that I would have to talk to a plumbing advisor (Jeff Jones) to see what all would have to be done. Jeff came by and was very professional and knowledgeable, as Caleb and Brett were. I have to say every time a plumbing problems come up, I can rely on ALL the Professionals at Ben Franklin Plumbing. This company is one of the BEST if NOT the BEST in Plumbing. Thank you Ben Franklin Plumbing.
I recently had a minor plumbing issue (leaking 'nipple' shut off valve under a sink...$20 tops for the part) which I could have fixed myself. However, I did not have the proper wrench to remove the 'nipple'. With that in mind, I figured I'd call a plumber. My usual plumber was unavailable due to the fact it was Labor Day. I decided to call Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. The guy that answered the phone was polite, and told me it would be $99 for a service call (have to pay this either way - fix or no fix). He also stated the job would be officially priced once the plumber arrived. I diagnosed the problem for him over the phone PROPERLY, but was not given a price for the job.I figured since it was a minor repair it couldn't be more than $50-$100 more than service fee. Being a Holiday, I was happy to pay that for the luxury of not having to go to Home Depot, buying parts, and fixing the minor leak myself. However, once the plumber arrived and I had everything all set up for him (not to mention I allowed him to use MY wrench!) he went to his truck and came back with a quote of $428 and a fairly standoffish attitude! The total job required all of 35 minutes of his time. Be leary of this company's prices as they are extremely expensive. Yes it was nice they came to my house call, but the price was a total rip off for what the job required.
My tankless water heater had a vent issue, which caused the appliance to kick off until fixed (flow sensor safety feature). These guys came, took one look and said it was unrepairable - that it was unsafe and they "wouldn't touch it again until replaced if it was their family". Their quote to replace this otherwise fine tankless was $6K. Remember - the tankless worked perfectly, did its job since there was a vent issue and shut off. There was no damage to it. I said thanks but no thanks and called another company (Mid-10). They fixed me up, repaired the vent with a $10 part and got us back running same day. Just for reference, they said if they had to replace the unit with the same thing Ben Franklin quoted, it would be $4K total, not $6K. So my total cost: $80 Ben Franklin service call which was worthless + $140 for the other company call and 1 hour of work + a $10 part. So I saved $5,850 and will never even think about using Benjamin Franklin again. Talking with a neighbor this week, he said they did the exact same thing to him over a minor issue with his tankless. He also got another company to fix it and it has now been running fine for 6 more years. Lesson Learned. Call anyone else besides Ben Franklin. Mid-10 was the one who fixed me up.
I give them 3 stars for prompt and courteous service, and if their prices weren't so outrageous and jaw-dropping they would get a 5. I had a leaky faucet and had virtually completed the repair myself, but was struggling to remove the cartridge, so decided to have BFP come out to complete the project since I've been pleased with their service in the past. John arrived and took stock and quoted me the shocking price of $325 to complete the job. I reluctantly agreed. He basically used my tools which were still nearby and replaced a $20 cartridge. His entire time on the job was less than 30 minutes. My invoice includes the originally quoted $69 for a 2-hour Service Fee, and an incredible $269 to remove and clean / replace worn / damaged faucet parts in XXXX with new parts. Even with a $25 discount and a supposed $60 "Member Savings" (but the $60 dollars didn't come off the price!?), I was out $313 for what should have have been a maximum of $100-$120 even with markups for parts and labor. I reached out to Brad for an adjustment, but after a voicemail from him and one in reply from me, no further response. I cancelled my monthly membership since it doesn't seem to be worth anything.
We had a leaky shower and the cartridge needed to be replaced. I was going to do it myself but unfortunately the pressure balance cartridge was impossible to find. The part had been discontinued so even the manufacturer couldn't help me. I spent two weeks contacting plumbing supply stores and was about ready to give up and have the whole valve replaced --which requires cutting through the adjacent wall and very costly. On a recommendation, I called BFP as a last ditch effort. The plumber, aptly named "Ben" came out and looked at the part. He took a picture of the cartridge and sent it to their office. A few minutes later, Voila! They had the part and minutes later, it was dropped off at our house. I was very confident that Ben really knew what he was doing, so instead of doing the job myself, I had him do it. And I'm glad I did! He did an excellent job installing the cartridge and new trim I had previously purchased. The price for the work was reasonable as well. I own multiple rental properties in the Franklin area, and I will now make BFP my go-to plumber in the event a repair is needed. Thanks guys!
We recently purchased a home in Franklin and had several plumbing companies out to give bids. Ben Franklin dispatched Daniel out to our home to give us an estimate on replacing the main sewer line and putting in a tankless water heater. BFP beat the other bids by far. We were living out of state during the project, and not being there, I felt anxious about not being able to oversee the project, but Daniel kept me so informed by phone calls, texts, and even sending pictures along the way. I believed when I hired BFP that we would be in good hands, and Daniel and the crew delivered. I had a few other projects going on at the house while BFP were working. Another company hit the water line, and Daniel and his crew were able to repair the pipe right away. I needed to be able to have hot water and have the sewer line ready to go by the time we moved in, and all of the work was done in time. I can not recommend Ben Franklin Plumbing high enough. They want above and beyond my expectations. From Daniel, to Brad, Jan and Tammy in the office, Essex and Jack doing work out at our house, they all are top notch.
