Israel has been my technician for years, I always ask for him. He's installed a new sink, disposal, takes care of maintaining the house water filter and any other plumbing ing needs. He's always on time, informative, knowledgeable in assessing any issue. He's simply the best.

Chris expertly replaced our leaking 80-gallon water heater, wedged in a tight space, with a 50-gallon Bradford White model. He was able to come quickly and explain our options. We are very happy with the choices we made and we’re pleased by Chris’ timeliness, professionalism and perfectionism. He’s our plumber now!

​I am extremely disappointed with the service we received today. Two technicians arrived to install a water meter, but spent the duration of the visit consulting ChatGPT and YouTube videos to figure out the process. Not only did they fail to finish the installation, but they actually broke our previously functioning water system. ​We are now unable to use our showers or bathrooms, and the service desk informed us they cannot return until tomorrow. Leaving a family without working water due to a lack of technical expertise is completely unacceptable. We will not be using this company again.

All would be good if all goes well. When things don’t go as planned, it can get ugly. I had a toilet leak last Wednesday and Franklin Plumbing responded to my request posted on Google. Technician Josh came in the afternoon. A great guy. He inspected the leak and determined it’s the gasket underneath the toilet that needed to be replaced. He quoted a price of $455 for a pull and reset. Expensive, but I wanted to get it fixed right away and told Josh to go ahead. Josh quickly finished the job and I was happy. But, an hour after Josh left I noticed water on the floor. Bummer! I called the service. The gentleman on the line assured me to send someone in first thing next morning. He made me feel warm and fuzzy. As promised, technician Chris arrived next morning. He immediately found out that the leak actually came from one of the rusted bolts. “Josh misdiagnosed,” he said. “Could you please fix it since I have already paid $455,” I asked. “Let me see what I can do about it”. I had to excuse myself to attend an online meeting while my wife stood by. After the meeting I noticed Chris was gone and the toilet wasn’t touched. My wife told me that he contacted the company and they found out Josh should have charged me $700+ for the job he did the previous day! For that pull and reset job that he finished in less than half an hour, which even did not fix the leak! My wife told Chris no way we would have allow the job to proceed had Josh gave us a quote like that. Surely enough, Chris left without doing anything. My question, shouldn’t they stand by their product and make the thing right, and refund me the difference if the actual fix costs less money? Imagine I went to a surgeon to fix my appendix but he cut my kidney. Shouldn’t he compensate me for his mistake? Two things stand out from my experience with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing: 1). their price is high; 2). don’t expect them to make things right should they make a mistake. Yisheng

I had a great experience with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. I scheduled regular maintenance for all plumbing related appliances and pipes in my house as part of an annual contract. Additionally, I called to have a technician retrieve an earring that fell in my bathroom drain. First, the technician was outstanding! He performed the contractual maintenance (charged on the effective date of the contract for 1-year) and spent time documenting with pictures, any area that needed addressing. He explained everything that was done and finally, he talked with me about any issues requiring future work. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and professional. However as a company, I found that although the work is outstanding, the price was a too high, for retrieving an earring from a drain; for this, 3-stars.

Chad Derexson, senior technician of Ben Franklin Plumbing, urgently came to our home yesterday with no preliminary notice to address a serious and extremely frustrating problem relating to hot water failure in the shower stalls in addition to a broken toilet mechanism. With an earlier estimate of considerable expense and time to resolve the problem, Chad fixed the hot water dilemma as well as the toilet issue in a matter of only a few hours with reassurance leaving his contract number in the event of any subsequent issues. His kindness and professionalism was extraordinary as he resolved the prior 5 days of household inconvenience and frustration by immediately responding to our needs and simply doing an outstanding professional service. Chad came to inspect our current water filtration system, and give us a quote on a new system. He was super friendly, very knowledgeable, and provided us with a variety of options while explaining what each components purpose is. We felt he was honest and trustworthy and didn’t try to up sale on items we didn’t need. We’re still deciding on what we’ll have installed so another review may be coming soon. Update: Had BF install a new home filtration system including a larger water pressure tank, UV filter, water softener, and sediment filters. Installation went with a few minor hiccups but the end we’re happy with our system and service!

We called them for a shower leak issue. The first technician they sent out didn't fix the issue, and the second technician took a whole week to do a repair that he said would take 4 hours. We were basically without a working shower for 2 weeks. The price they charged was close to $2000. They didn't come prepared and had to borrow our tools. After cutting our dry wall, they told us they wouldn't be repairing our dry wall. In the pictures of the dry wall cut for the repair, you can see they cut the supporting wood beams half way through. Honestly, for the price they charged, I expected a lot better work and professionalism.

I am so impressed with Ira Miller. He came on a Sunday to check out my leaking water heater. He was quick to diagnose the issue and provided a solution after discussing all the options. Ira spent the better part of that Sunday picking up the necessary parts and putting my water system back together again. Ira was professional and the installation was perfect. Thank you Ira! One last thought - I really appreciated that prior to Ira arriving. Benjamin Franklin sent a text with Ira’s photo and a bit about himself.

Chad ways does an excellent job when he comes to service my heat pump and water filter system. This time I had a concern with the duration of the hot water supply. Chad found the issue, explained the problem and was able to repair the heat pump immediately. He also was helpful answering questions about my reverse osmosis water filter system. Chad checked out both systems thoroughly. He is professional and personable. I know I will get top notch service when Chad is the technician who comes to my house.

I am extremely satisfied with the service I received. Chad who came to my home was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and provide a solution, and the work he did was of high quality. In addition to the excellent work, the customer service was also top-notch. I highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing Company to anyone in need of plumbing services. Their expertise and excellent customer service make them a reliable and trustworthy choice.

Ira came to replace a water heater for our landlord and I was very impressed and grateful! Not only did he genuinely get excited talking about plumbing design, he took his time, cleaned the whole laundry room floor and hidden spider webs, and checked every single faucet in the house to make sure the water pressure was back before leaving. He was the most thorough (and kind!) technician, they did a really great job!!! Thank you Ira!!

Israel Romero was a very professional technician ! I enjoyed his company while he replaced a 40 yr old outdoor faucet and a new valve inside our laundry room which was causing the outdoor faucet to leak! He did however have to cut into our wall in order to remove the outdoor faucet! He was able to cover the wall with the access panel for the meantime! I would definitely recommend Benjamin Franklin plumbing for your plumbing needs!

Israel was very helpful with helping snake out a clog in our sewer line. I subtracted one star due to them not cleaning up the waste which came from the sewer line and then charging me over $1000, which I called around and found other vendors offering to do it for less. Would I call them again if I was in a bind and couldn’t get anyone out here on time? Perhaps. But, they wouldn’t be my first call due to pricing.
