Cole did an excellent job troubleshooting our garbage disposal problem and installing a new one. He checked everything carefully and explained what he did and why. We would definitely like to have him come for any future repairs or installs.

Joseph was awesome. He did a fabulous job in getting the sink working again. He worked quickly and was very friendly. I highly recommend Benjamin Franklin for any of your plumbing needs.

Bill is fantastic. I will not work with another plumber unless it is Bill. I was quoted 2 guys 1200 for 6 hours. They got the job done in less than 4. Installed the new heat tape and insulation on the pipes. He even sat down with me at my original appointment to show me what I needed, where to buy it, what a good price was etc. He is amazing

Zero percent recommend. Just got charged $60 dollars as a service fee for a 2 minute consultation/quote for a water heater replacement that was outrageously overpriced. Go with another company.

I had a leaking pipe under kitchen sink and called Franklin(sadly) because I go through willias heating and cooling(great company). It took weeks to get someone out to fix it and when they came to "fix" the problem they fixed it for 4 days. So I call again and have to wait again for weeks, during the winter; with water just pooling up in my basement now. This time they can not find the leak lol, all my pipes are literally in a 3x3x4 area(which is where the problem is, dripping down into basement). Can not find the leak with the ceiling falling down and dripping. So they, for God only knows why; disconnect the water to my dishwasher, turn it on and turn on the heater. I have never smelled anything like what happened, they fried my pumps in dishwasher(only year and a half old) and then tell me its a flue pipe going up through the roof. Even though the dripping continues when it doesn't rain for several weeks: even though when it does rain the dripping does not increase 1 bit... I have checked the pipe up there, it is fine. These guys at Ben Franklin plumbing are not plumbers they are demolition men! If you want to pay someone to act like they know what they are doing and destroy your utilities, then by all means give them all call!! This is not even mentioning how they NEVER answer any of my 5 emails about the incident, or how I cancelled my yearly plan with them, YET they still access my credit card and pull out money without my consent. So I end up having to call the police since they are literally stealing from my credit card and destruction of private property(from negligence) currently in process of bringing them to court to pay for the damages THEY caused. Avoid all this, by NOT calling Ben Franklin!!!!!

First let me begin by saying I should have read the reviews first. The previous reviews are correct this is a terrible company. We had a water leak somewhere on our property. They suggested we use a guy they had for leak detection. The cost began at $823 but was quickly up charged to $991 dollars to the length of water line to check. Half would go to the repairs of the leak. The day of service the leak detection guys showed up at 11 as scheduled and the tech from Ben Franklin arrived late by 30 minutes. In that span of 30 minutes the leak detection guy located the leak with almost no work needed. Let me reiterate. Ben Franklin's tech did absolutely nothing. Although he was a nice gentleman. He did nothing. I was then quoted $1375. To replace a yard hydrant. $750 was to dig the hole that took me 25 minutes to do myself. I replaced the hydrant myself and it took no more than an hour to have it seated and hole filled in. The cost $66 dollars total to fix. The Ben Franklin tech informed me that since they did nothing I should call and get a refund. I was at least due the over charge back from the fraudsters due to the leak detection not being as difficult. I spoke to Chris the finance manager and he still refuses to return my money. Now they will not call back or answer emails. If you need leak detection just call Reliable Leak Detection directly. Wonderful guys. Don't waste your time or money with the Ben Franklin Fraud crew. In case they aren't aware who is writing this. My name is Adam and I live in Walton. Pretty sure you can link those through records.

I had a leaking outdoor faucet. I called Ben Franklin Plumbing. Their guy came out; took one look at the leaking faucet and determined that it needed to be replaced. He told me, after working up a price, that it would cost me nearly $600.00 which would include the service charge. Since I did not have a shut off valve for that faucet, he worked up a price to install a shutoff valve for an additional $376.00. I sent him on his way and called Steven Cropper Plumbing. He was here within 15 minutes of the call. He replaced a washer in the leaking faucet and the leak stopped. He also explained that the type of outdoor faucet that I had did not need a shut off valve because it had a siphon valve which is why a shut off valve was not installed in the first place. Steve Cropper was here all of 30 minutes and all I had to pay was $80.00. Based on this experience, it seems to me that Ben Franklin Plumbing uses a homeowner's mishap as an opportunity to take advantage of the situation by overcharging the unfortunate homeowner to the point of highway robbery. On the other hand, Steven Cropper Plumbing displayed honesty and good craftsmanship. I would highly recommend this plumber.

This company is the worst.  We purchased a phase 1 hot water heater, per the website we purchased it from.  The plumber came out and had to have an eletrican put in new board.   No problem.  The plumber installed the hot water heater and found it wasn't working because it was actually a phase 3 water heater.  I would think the plumber would have known that before installing.  We purchased a new hot water heater - phase 1 from Home Depot.  We are trying to get Ben Frank to install the new one at a discount or free since we feel he should have seen that right away.  We have called many times and they say someone will get back with you but nobody does.  Horrible customer service. Also, I called yesterday at 10:30 and they just now called me back, 1:30. Today new plumber came out from Thomas Plumbing to put in new hot water heater and we found out that BFP messed up the wiring so again no hot water heater. Called BFP and cannot get anyone out until Monday. Plus this is for an apartment bldg so they have been without for a while now.

Our tech Ethan Tolliver was exceptional from start to finish. He didn’t just treat us like a customer he treated us like family. He was very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining the repairs needed. He made the whole process enjoyable. We look forward to working with Ethan and his company in the future if anything is needed. William Owens came out and replaced the power vent on our water heater. He knew his job of the repair very well. He was genuinely concerned about our lack of hot water and replaced the part in less than 30 minutes. We are very pleased by the overall service we have received so far. We had a new tankless water heater installed after the repair and the whole process was great from start to finish. Chris and Jordan were the two install techs on the tankless eater heater. They also extended our natural gas line so we could put a gas stove in. This is honestly the best experience we’ve ever had from a company. I would highly recommend them for your next service.

Called them out for a clogged main drain line. They were unable to get through it with the smaller auger they brought out and suggested a hydrojet. After being unable to clear the line with a hydrojet they diagnosed the line was broken and wanted to dig out the line and replace. The blockage was directly under my front porch and they said that's where the break was. This would have been an extremely costly job when you consider the front porch removal and replacement. Called a different company to come take a look and they got through the roots with a larger auger and then with a hydrojet as they let us know it was pointless to use the hydrojet until they could get through the roots with an auger first. There was zero damage in the line, no breaks, no cracks, and no holes. Basically, we paid Benjamin Franklin a fair amount of money for nothing.

Benjamin Franklin plumbing flat out refused to give us an over the phone ballpark price to have our main drain snaked, but they seemed like trusted name brand and we have had this service done in the past so we had them out for an estimate. After doing a 30 second "visual diagnostic" the technician informed me that it would be $350 on top of the $50 service fee to do a job that has never cost me more than $150 from anyone else. I declined but wanted to speak to the home office before paying the $50 service fee. The rep at the office had difficulty processing my card and made it extremely clear that she thought it was my fault. In the end, I called someone else and had the job, that took 45 minutes, done for $150 and paid the $50 service for the privilege of not dealing with Benjamin Franklin ever again.

Booked an emergency service with no time appointment. After phone call received a text stating they would be there between 6-8. Called the number from text at 8:30 to find out where they were and the automated system failed to connect me with a person, but tried to send me to the business hour office phone. Called again 30-45 mins later and demanded the prompter give me someone. He answers and tells me I should have never received a text message with a window. I said well I did and you guys didn't meet that expectation. I demanded the first appointment in the morning so I did not risk missing a second day of work waiting on them. He would not guarantee that so I canceled with them. I will find someone that can live up to their promises.

Nice enough knowledgeable guy, but came in with no actual tools to inspect my sink. Diagnosed problem quickly, and then wanted to charge me over 700 for a faucet and its installation. When I inquired further, said it was because the faucet they install is commercial grade, and the installation would be just under 400 separately, and that my faucet was “unique.” It was not. A single hole good quality faucet is easy to find and order for much less, even factoring in third party installation. Not worth the $59 to come in and inspect, which the company claims is refundable upon fixing the issue. Be aware that this upfront cost is triple if they send someone over the weekend.

They sent out a plumber to look at my water heater. Without running any tests or even touching my water heater he told me I would need a rebuild that would require a special thermostat to be ordered and would cost $1200. I went and bought everything that was needed for $45 from a plumbing supply store (nothing special about the thermostat) and did the rebuild myself. This didn't fix the problem because there wasn't anything wrong with the water heater in the first place. It was an electrical issue inside the breaker box. So in short, this company tried to charge me $1200 for a job that took less than an hour and that didn't even need to be done. Beware.

I wish I could give zero stars. I wouldn't recommend even calling for a quote because you will never receive it. We had an agent come to our home and spend an hour talking through the large project we wanted quoted. He said we'd have the quote the next day and it's now been 3 weeks without anything. I've called the office 6 times and each time I'm told they're emailing or someone will call me back that day, but that never happens. They are unable to give me any appropriate timeline or even tell if the quote is done. At this point I won't even use them if their quote were to ever show and they were the cheapest! Horrible management of a business.
