A 12 yrs experience plumber arrived 2x an stated he was unable to install my newly purchased sink. He insisted that it couldn't be done and insistes for me to purchase a facet along with a amother new sink. So today the drain remains slow exiting and clogged. The price that was paid was outrageous for the service that was supposed to be completed.

Initially, I was very satisfied with this company for a hot water heater they installed. I’m now trying to set up an appointment for “Ben Franklin maintenance plan“ I purchased when I bought my hot water heater, but there’s no answering of the phones, at all. I tried every phone number. I waited on hold multiple times during a two day period. I finally made an appointment online and they never showed. I received a confirmation text and email saying that they would be there but they never showed. They were great a few months ago, but I don’t know what happened to them, hence my very BAD review. Beware!! You probably wouldn’t be able to get a hold of them anyway.

I had called 2 other plumbers before finally getting Ben Franklin. Calls to the other plumbers in the area or didn't know services they offered although their Web site clearly offered my needed services and others just left me on hold for over a half an hour with no one picking up. When I contacted Ben Franklin immediately was paired with a person and within 15 minutes we had a plan and a plumber on his way. The real amazing part of this was I was calling after hours and the day before 4th of July. Daniel showed up at my door within 20 minutes of the initial call and was professional and courteous. He made sure we understood what the problem was and was able to determine the cause quite quickly. Unfortunately the parts place was closed by this time but he assured me that first thing in the morning he would grab the part and he would replace it. Since he was already here I decided to ask him about another repair that I needed that was something that didn't need to be done immediately but I figured I'm also get a quote a past plumber headquarter me $1,400 for the job prior to COVID so by now I figured that quote would be way more but I wanted to know how much. The next day Daniel came 5 minutes before deceited time that they were going to come. He waited until the state of time and when I didn't hear the doorbell they phoned me and let me know that they were there so that I could open the door. I run a business out of my house and water is extremely important for my business so Daniel was very considerate and kind because he had to shut off the water several times. Each time asking me if I needed to keep it on for an extended period of time between his turn off and turn on times so that I could get a new fresh water in the meantime. He was more than patient with my needs and at one point was asking about other services that I may require in the future. At this time I didn't need anything else but I must say that if I did need any other services I will be making Benjamin Franklin and Danielle my new plumber. Also I was pleasantly surprised when I got the quote for the first job which was mandatory I was thinking it might be a little high but I didn't ever get a quote on that job before however when they quoted my second job and presented the quote I thought the quote was just for the second job and they assured me that it was for both jobs combined and that was shocking because the price was $1,400 which is what I was quoted four years ago through another plumber for just one of the jobs. The price was extremely fair and the service was amazing.

The BEST place in Bethlehem, especially if you're in a pinch. My basement flooded, thanks to all of the rain we've been having. I called several places and was surprised at how many businesses don't have an answering service 🙄 and everyone else wanted an astronomical amount of money just to show up and look at the problem. Ridiculous. I called Benjamin Franklin and spoke to a kind gentleman who assured me that someone would be here to take care of it later that day. It didn't take long for them to clear the water and fix the issue and, most importantly, it was super affordable! I was so impressed, I decided to finally add a third bathroom and I know exactly who will be doing the plumbing for it. 😊 I highly recommend calling them for all of your plumbing needs!!

First, I want to thank John for answering all of my questions, getting me in the books immediately for, what we thought was a simple sewer repair. I want to thank Nick for working tirelessly to replace my entire sewer line, without having to excavate it, as the damage was far worse than anticipated. Finally, I'd like to thank both of them for working together to find the most efficient and affordable option for me, saving me both time and money! Both gentlemen were calm, professional, patient, transparent, and maintained a positive demeanor, throughout the entire process, even during my moments of panic and frustration when the full extent of the damage was uncovered. Thanks again to everyone at Benjamin Franklin in Bethlehem.

My outdoor spigot/hose connection was leaking. I didn't know if the problem was in the spigot or the hose. The serviceman Daniel realized the spigot was fine but the hose wasn't threaded on correctly and the hose was faulty. I gave him another hose to try and he got it to work without leaks. He also showed what to do to prepare for winter so there is no damage due to frozen water in the pipes. He only charged me for the service call. He arrived late because an earlier call took him longer than expected, but I still was able to get same day service, for which I am thankful. Now I can water my garden again.

This past week l had my house sump pump replaced. They came in as scheduled and did an excellent job! As l also have some other jobs to be done such as replacement of sinks and toilets, they offered me membership on their services and products sort of club which comes with discounts and other benefits associated to products and services, etc. l was pleasantly surprised and quite pleased! They get the job done and keep you informed of all possibilities. My special thanks for the two polite, efficient and nice professional plumbers they sent to my house! Cheers!

I reached out to Ben Franklin Plumbing and can't wait for them to officially start providing service in my area! I could tell from the minute they answered the phone that they were friendly, polite and professional. I had some questions that they needed to look into and get back to me about, and they did that the same day! It's SO hard to find a contractor that returns calls in a timely manner and so far I couldn't be more impressed! Keep up the great work - you're just what our area in the Lehigh Valley needs!!

Our older boiler system was acting up, turning off intermittently. Nick was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. He spent considerable time diagnosing the issue, eventually tracing it to a faulty ignition sensor. He explained the repair clearly, sourced the part, and got our heat working again. It’s great to find a plumber like Nick who understands older heating systems! Very trustworthy and skilled!

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY Absolutely impossible to reach anyone at this company. I scheduled an appointment via their website and no one showed up despite a confirmation text. It’s as if the entire company has taken off for summer vacation. Every single number you can possibly find associated with them is immediately answered by an answering machine claiming the mailbox is full and hangs up on you.

Benjamin Franklin plumbing did an excellent job clearing out my plumbing clean out. My technician was very experienced and explained everything to me. He also educated me on the other systems at my home. I highly recommend Benjamin Franklin plumbing. Thank you for the great job. Also the office staff was excellent.

I had Ben Franklin plumbing come out to unclog my drain and even though it was a challenging task, they didn't give up until they got it resolved! Can't say enough great things about Nick and Derek who came to my house to take care of things - friendly and very skilled! Highly recommend!
