Benj did a wonderful job and was done in less than an hour!! Great Job Benj!!!!
Benj was great. Communicated well made sure I understood what was happening and made things more accessible for the next time repairs have to happen. The communication and customer service from the whole team was great.
Benj is so awesome! He was very thorough and updated us on what he was doing. I would definitely have him fix any of it again and Recommend him to my friends and family
We were just contacted that our plumbing appointment today was canceled last minute. We are on a strict deadline and needed the plumbing service before Monday or we lose thousands of dollars for our down payment . I tried to reschedule an appointment for Saturday or Sunday and requested that the after hours fee of $249.00 be waived due to the last minute cancellation and the response was “sorry we can’t do that, you will have to call someone else”. I understand things come up and schedules change but I booked this appointment in advance based on the reviews I read for this company. Now I’m left high and dry and scrambling to make an appointment with another plumbing company on a Friday afternoon. Very unprofessional service standards, I definitely will not be contacting this company again.
I should have read the reviews before having Beehive come out. I paid $582 to have them replace a leaky fridge water line (ice maker box). It took them maybe 5 minutes max. We called several plumbers and they quoted us no more than $200. I feel ripped off.
Jonathon Pendly did an excellent job replacing a 20 year old manabloc and I had him replace ALL 21 connectors on the 18 port manabloc so that hopefully the new one will last another 20 years. I had tried to replace a tub spout two different times and it leaked each time and someone else soldered a part on to allow a longer tub spout, but it was too short and made it still leak. So I hired Jonathon to unsolder the tub pipe, and he cleaned it fully and the slip on tub spout he used didn't leak and he didn't use any tape or dope so I will do what I saw him do next time to save money. Beehive Plumbing came in with a better price over Expert Services for the manabloc, but then Expert Services had a much better price on a water softener install (they did want to charge more later so I hurried and got that job done before their prices went up). One downside on the manabloc even though I was told it was new and improved, it is more compact, it has a plastic backing instead of metal, and the front plastic to hold the key is really soft and feels like it will break so you have to be careful putting the key in that plastic hole so quality on equipment seems to be degrading across all products I have had installed in recent years as manufacturing moved overseas. These companies seem to try raise and match each others' prices, but if their prices are too high, I know people who "find a guy" to do the work for 1/4 the cost. I prefer hiring a licensed professional with a company that honors its warranties for bigger jobs involving main water and gas lines to be safe. Getting a quote from several comapnies for every job lets me find the better prices, but I have to remember to first research price ranges online, what the top 3 equipment brands are and what warranties each offers and where each is made. Then call to schedule a bid analysis, and ask on the phone what equipment they install, what the warranty is, and how long does the equipment typically last. Then research how the brand is performing in recent years since those companies sometimes move overseas where the warranty is not honored and parts break more frequently.
I had attempted to replace a shutoff valve under the kitchen sink but couldn't get it to budge so I called Beehive Plumbing to do it. The plumber arrived on time, assessed the job and gave me an estimate. The estimate ($249) was extremely high for the simplicity of the job but I agreed. The plumber proceeded and had the same problem I had. But instead of removing the valve he cut the pipe off which I could have done and was trying avoid. Now I have a short pipe with no room to work in case I need to do another repair. Then when I turned the water back on, there was just a dribble. The plumber said everything he did was properly done. He did take a look at the manifold and said the valve had probably gone bad and I would likely need to replace the manifold. He wanted another $189 just to diagnose the problem. I declined. After the plumber left, I went back to the shutoff valve and twisted it and saw that the dribble increased. The more I twisted the more the water ran. So, I twisted more and got a full stream. Problem solved. Why couldn't the plumber do that? I'm not going to call that plumber again.
Came home from church and discovered our current water heater had been leaking all day. Called Beehive Plumbing for assistance and they came on a Sunday! Caleb Davis was able to stop the leaking and still make it possible for us to have cold water overnight. He returned on Monday and spent 5 1/2 hours installing a new Rheem water heater with an accompanying water softener. It was a huge job, with some added expertise to make it all compliant with our existing pipes, etc. Caleb never stopped! He made sure everything was working properly, cleaned up the mess, and explained what we needed to know about the new appliances. We are very pleased with Beehive Plumbing service, their technician, and our new water heater! Thank you!
Well, first off, they charged me the service call charge of $50. And when I had the service done, they didn't credit it towards the service performed price, and it was only a toilet that was wobbling. I guess i should have stayed and watched but I didn't. I guess I sounded too desperate as we had sold the house and needed to get it done for the new owners. Plus, when I called their office, I was told usually plumbers will credit you IF you ask them, otherwise they just tack it on to the bill. $265 for 10 minutes. Can you say gouge?
Did a fine job but was reportedly curt with my staff and overheard being extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. The reason you were here, Tristen, is bc we employed you to do a job and paid you quite a bit to do so. I recommend that you act in a more respectful and gracious manner to your customers in the future. Would not recommend this service. There’s a million plumbers out there doing the exact same quality of work. I recommend you hire one that isn’t put out by doing the agreed upon work and is nice and polite.
Josh was very nice and professional. Did quick work to get my hot water back on. So maybe I take back what I said within an hour of fixing it we still don't have hot water and it's doing the exact same thing I called for that he fixed! It's been 6 hrs since he left , 5hours since I called and told them it's not working, said he would call me to walk me through a couple things . Still haven't heard from him . I paid over $500 today and still don't have hot water!! I don't recommend them.
Tristen was Awesome! He communicated through the whole process. He was very detailed in everything that he worked on, our house is under contract and these are items that the inspector called out. We were able to get Behive Plumbing out there the next day to get everything fixed and get our report back to the buyers, that everything had been taken care of! We are very grateful for Tristen and Behive Plumbing. Would highly recommend!
My wife had a Beehive plumber come out for a leaky fridge waterline (from the ice maker box). When I heard the price, it sounded outrageously high, so I called around to a handful of plumbing companies to compare - sure enough, Beehive charged us over 300% over what the other companies quoted! I feel like the plumber took advantage of my wife because she didn't know how much the repair should cost.
My water heater gave up the ghost and started leaking. I called three other plumbers before but these folks really went above and beyond to get me back in business. not only were they able to get me same day but did a phenomenal job. Warren and Craig did awesome and were personable and walked me through the whole process. I will be recommending them and will use them in the future.
Jordan Ostler was prompt, professional , and knowledgeable. He quickly addressed the problem and offered solutions. He also offered preventative measures to ensure the issue was a one time issue. Beyond being a professional, he was also sympathetic. Fantastic customer service all around from the initial set up to the actual service itself.
