Had an air conditioner issue and it was nearly 90 degrees in our house. Called in knowing it was going to be the busiest day of the year for heating and cooling companies here locally. To my surprise Ballard’s was able to get us in later that day! James was awesome! He took his time and educated me on what we have. We have air again!! Thanks a ton!
We are from Louisville, Kentucky and I have a summer home at Bay Harbor. We have been residence for 15 years. I was given Ballard Plumbing and Heating‘s number as a vendor. After doing my homework, I decided to give them a call to come Service my HVAC system. It’s been 15 years and I still use Ballard Heating and Plumbing for all my needs. I highly recommend Ballard Heating and Plumbing.
We have been loyal customers of Ballards for a number of years -- we enjoy the always genuine concern for the issue we are trying to resolve and the immediacy of response times. The onsite technicians are always friendly and make every effort to seamlessly complete the work needed.
Ballards came out for a service call on my on-demand hot water heater. The technician opened the cover, said the unit was toast, shut off water to the entire house, and left — charging $125. I called right away explaining the urgency since my family had no water. I didn’t hear back for 4–5 days. I had to bypass the system myself just to restore water. Disappointed in the lack of urgency and communication. I won’t be using them again.
Owning restaurants is always a fun experience when things break! Ballards immediately got out to the restaurant, assessed the issue and had a new water heater ordered and installed within 24 hours. I've never had a company be so responsive to our needs, understanding that we're open for business and needed service quickly. I absolutely recommend Ballards if you're in their service area.
